  1. No. But thank you for asking.
  2. Operative phrase: "At the very least" Meaning that would have been the worst case decision if Josh was cleared late. Best case...He starts! I'm happy with McD's decision.
  3. And yet no word of a fine for the hit. Methinks the NFL is a bit inconsistent. "If you get hit in the head, we're going to make you sit so we make sure you're ok. But we're still going to allow players to hit you in the head."
  4. That was awesome! It's like a duel. They pace off...then they have at it.
  5. I think they had high hopes for Duke, but other players exceeded him in practice and the NFL game didn't come as quickly to Duke as they would have liked. Still...they kept him around, giving him more time. WRs for the Bills are expected to do more than just catch the ball. It's perhaps these other skill sets they needed to see further development.
  6. Good point. I forgot that he played tackle at Iowa.
  7. Probably Foster. He was still limited in practice.
  8. Because our GM was an idiot.
  9. I was even surprised at how well Trace McSorley looked in the preseason.
  10. May just take him longer. Having more years under your belt makes it easier. Case in point, Gardner Minshew.
  11. Do you think having only one year under his belt hurts him?
  12. I'm not trying to slam Ohio State. I was just asking. It does seem that due to injury or coaching changes many QBs come out with only one year in that position. May be a disadvantage.
  13. I'd rather he be on the Jets than the Pats.
  14. Oh the irony....
  15. Question...Has there ever been a successful NFL QB from Ohio State? My memory fails me on this.
  16. I'll bet you enjoy going to the dentist.
  17. You didn't read it in full. The crawler said "Josh Allen still in concussion protocol. Matt Barkley will start if Allen is unable to play." Gosh...the reading comprehension on this board leaves a great deal to be desired.
  18. True that...but now I will not only be holding my breath, but also a Bible.
  19. Tasker said on One Bills Live today...coming from a players perspective...that in the past, they used to rush players back too soon after they were concussed, and he said that if you brought them back too soon you risked them being concussed again. In other words, the more time that passed the better. He said that players would appear to be okay, but they weren't right inside (brain). He then went on to say that today, with the testing done, if the neurologist clears you, then it is safe for the player to play. So...now the question is...has Josh seen the neurologist and not passed stage 5, or has he not yet seen the neurologist for that final stage. I think we all hope for the latter.
  20. I would agree with this, but when it comes to the human body/brain, can anyone really say 100% following a trauma? But yes...I do agree...that if he's cleared by the neurologists, they are telling the coaches, it is safe for Josh to play. Josh just needs to take better care of himself on the field and learn from this episode.
  21. I didn't say we should sit him. What I said is that if the coaches decide to sit him (operative word "may"), this would likely be part of their rationale....a second hit this close to the first could cause a second concussion.
