  1. The Madden curse????!!!! Nah...the guys just certifiable.
  2. I don't think anyone can disagree with this, irrespective of their opinion on Green. They will though...because it's the way things are on this forum.
  3. I remember that game. It was in the mid 90's. Both QBs were terrible. Weren't there 3 or 4 ex Bills playing for the Panthers?
  4. Boy ain't that the truth! Thanks for the warning!
  5. Good post. As much as we revere, Jim Kelly, he did have some horrid games at the worst possible times. A couple super bowls as I recall.
  6. For those of you who have fantasy matchups implicated in this game...good luck to you all. Having said that...I'll root for a good game and for the Rams to prevail. They need a good bounce back game after the egg they laid last week.
  7. Okay. I apologize if I missed an earlier post. This thread is 49 pages long. I expect I've missed a few. But will you please get off of this "crusade" thing. No one is crusading. We all want Josh to start and hope that he does. We are not part of the decision though so it doesn't matter what we think.
  8. Good point. Bates can play any position on the line. I actually liked him better than Connor.
  9. Likely. Didn't we pick him up after they released him a few years ago?
  10. If they bring up Webb, it doesn't look good for Josh. On the other hand, I think we're all hoping for a WR move of some kind.
  11. Which is why Whaley is no longer here...or anywhere for that matter.
  12. In truth...if Josh plays...I'm going to be holding my breath if he does take off and run. Vrabel uses the same "playbook" on defense as Belichick. Wouldn't surprise me if they try to knock Josh out again, especially since there were no consequences to the defensive player last Sunday.
  13. Yes...and you are correct that Josh is taking first snaps in the drills. Apparently, drills do involve running plays which would make sense when you think about it, especially for oline and dline. When I think of drills, I think of them just tossing the ball around, but there is more to it than that.
  14. In truth you have an equal crusade for Josh to play. Let's face it. We ALL (with the exception of the Josh haters) want Josh to be cleared and ready to play, and to start on Sunday. As fans, wishing doesn't make it so. None of us, has a clue right now what will happen. We're all trying to read the same tea leaves...and there is very limited information right now. It's not a matter of anybody being right. It's a matter of what is best for Josh and ultimately the team and that is in the hands of the neurologist and the coaches.
  15. Josh needs to be cleared by an independent neurologist. It is not a team decision...to protect the player.
  16. To be clear, that was still in drills, not going through the actual game plan practice. The media is not allowed to observe that part, for obvious reasons.
  17. On Total Access Last night, they were giving first quarter awards. Willie McGinnest chose Sean McDermott. He cited the Bills D, really touting how well they played against the Pats especially. He pointed out all McD needs to do is get his QB under control to play more consistently and quit the mistakes.
  18. This was an excellent read and analysis. Thank you so much OP for posting this.
  19. Quick question. Who reported that Allen was taking first team reps? Chris Brown reported the drills he was doing with Barkley and that's what we saw on film. Reporters aren't there for the team practice. So how do you know who was taking first team reps?
  20. He was limited today again, but that may have been due to practicing on a wet field.
  21. We all hope. My point is, if he is cleared but without a chunk of practice, if he could at least be the backup, we wouldn't have to activate anyone from the PS.
  22. At the very least...assuming Allen is cleared to play late in the week, I would expect Barkley to start and Josh to be the backup.
  23. I like Chase. Somehow, though, the Chargers have rarely had good luck with kickers. (One of the reasons they had to promote Chase.)
