I agree with you 1000% to me it looked like the chiefs weren't even trying to go 100% maybe they played to the 70-80% of their capacity. Our defense was absolute *****
-
Dude this season stinks like the ones we started 5-2 and 4-0 only to finish 8-8 or worse and out of the playoffs. Team did almost nothing today on both sides of the ball

Not all of us Bills fans are from Western NY you know. As a matter of fact I have never been nearly close to NY. ***** I went to see the Bills in Oakland a few years back. That was my first Bills game.

GMFB - Weekly (almost daily) Love - WC #1

Kyle Brandt is a Bears fan who has been rooting for the bills for a while. He said it himself in one episode of the John Murphy show. -
Our offense being effective. Score points.

there was a similar play on the opposite side against Shaq but he contained the edge, didn't attack and he flushed LJ inside for no gain or short gain. Milano thought he had an easy tackle but he should've known better.

Who is your favorite current Buffalo Bill and why?
toto8 replied to Logic's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Tre White as well. It's honestly hard to pick now before we had Kyle Williams who has been my favorite until his retirement and before that it was Freddie. Tre is up to par with those 2 because he puts the hard work, he's great off the field, family man, plays with passion and he's not arrogant or cocky. Also best corner in the NFL. -
Well I heard John Brown's locker room interview right after the game and that's how I found out about the adjustment. I didn't watch Josh Allen's post game presser so when you said Josh said that I didn't know he mentioned it. Maybe like you say the have been practicing the double move route but they didn't implement it on a play. Smoke saw Harris jumping the slant and they decided to adjust on the fly. Which is pretty refreshing since in the past we didn't have good coaches that will make in game adjustments.
-
First of all thank you for your reviews I have been a fan since the BBMM and I look for it every week. Did you know that Browns TD catch was actually an adjustment due to smoke telling his coaches that Harris was constantly jumping the slants? He said that in an interview. He told coaches about it and they adjusted to make a double move on a go route that's why on that play Allen pumps the ball twice trying to make Harris move.

Thanks for the review, always great. Good observation on the mid-season slump. I was concerned about the Dolphins game as you mention it above but I thought we were going to be fine. Boy I was wrong. I don't know why but I have memories of the 2008 season. We started 5-1 and ended 7-9 wining only 3 more games. I hope this is not the case.

1st of all that was not an interception. He didn't fully controlled the ball, not even when he landed out of bounds just a little after. The Zay hate is real. look at this below and make a decision after. The guy was open a lot and JA didn't look his way. Also on the interception everyone is mentioning Knox is running a route behind Zay and some think he was the target not Zay.

THE ROCKPILE REVIEW - Taking Care of Business at MetLife
toto8 replied to Shaw66's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I agree with you. I was just expressing my point of view about the offense. They played OK and they still scored 28 points. There is a lot of room for improvement. It worries me that the offense will not be as good against an OK or good defense but we will see time will tell. -
THE ROCKPILE REVIEW - Taking Care of Business at MetLife
toto8 replied to Shaw66's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Shaw66 Thanks for the review. I didn't like the offense in general. I think they all played OK. Still got the W though. OL allowed 3 sacks. Giants defense was nothing to be impressed about. Allen got a fumble. But we were REALLY lucky the ref blew the whistle, otherwise it would've been a touchdown and the score 21-14 that's an entirely different ball game. a few false starts and other dumb penalties. I am very cautions about the 2-0 start. In 2008 Trent Edwards started the season 5-1 and the rest of the season they went 2-8. Don't get me wrong I am happy because I am seeing improvements specially from the offense but it doesn't matter how you start you have to be consistent and finish strong. Hopefully this team will do it. -
THE ROCKPILE REVIEW - Winning the Fourth Quarter
toto8 replied to Shaw66's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
First of all thank you for your write up I have never missed one of them even since you were at BBMB. Great points all the time. I miss him too I had my doubts about "motor" but he looked pretty good. He needs to work on his speed he seemed too slow in the open field. It's one game only but it was a good showing. We'll have a good idea of where he stands at the end of the season. I was worried about the 4 turnovers as the statistics are unfavorable when you have so many turnovers in a game. Couple of things I noticed. -Cody Ford was out in the 3rd quarter and all of the 4th quarter did you see any drop on his play? -Nsekhe fell on his butt in one of the plays in the 4th qtr. -Oliver is a best he threw an OL like a rag doll in one play and almost gets the sack. -Bad Luck on the turnovers besides the Josh Allen fumble. The pick 6 is on Beasley, one of the fumbles was Morse's fault and unlucky on the tipped ball for the 2nd interception. -
In my bed. Games in Alaska start at 9 AM I like to sleep in during weekends. That may change this year because I have a 17 month old that wakes up at 7 and wants dad to play with him. I have Sunday ticket and as a matter of fact never been to the New Era Field, I am a TV fan. I have watched the bills live once (at Oakland)

Should Teams Start Spying Josh Allen?
toto8 replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Wasn't Anthony Barr spying on him? I think so because Allen made him look silly in several occasions and there was no other vikes defender helping him. I mean Allen jumped over him one play, beat him to the pylon on another one, stiff armed him, and then got a horse collar tackle from him as well. I may not know a lot about football but it sure looks like Barr's task was to spy on Allen and nullify him. -
Refs miss obvious illegal formation penalty on Foles TD catch
toto8 replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Jeffrey checked with the ref not once but twice. I just saw a youtube video to confirm. So no penalty. -
Thank you for review. Always good. I don't think it was stupid. It was funny.

Unsure What The Problem Is? Spin the Wheel and Find Out!
toto8 replied to BadLandsMeanie's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Dareus Trade. This wheel knows me well. -
Well sorry but if you are forgetting it seems to happen every year. Last year we started 5-2 then the dolphins and Jay Ajayi who ran for 214 yds started the debacle. Then the patriots with Brady back crushed us 41-25, then lost to the Seahawks on prime time we won 3 out of 9 during that stretch to end 7-9. Then 2015 we started 5-4 just to go play the second half of the season and win 3 out of 7 to end 8-8 Shall I continue? I am not trying to be negative here but I've seen this movie before plenty of times.

THE ROCKPILE REVIEW - Good Gets Bad, Bad Gets Good
toto8 replied to Shaw66's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Shaw thanks again for the great review always a good read. Like I posted on your previous review this was an important game for our playoff aspirations. The percentage before the game being 5-2 to make the playoffs was 73% now 63%. There is always one game that changes the outcome of the season for the bills and it seems this was the one. I would love to eat crow if they win next week but I don't think so. I think getting rid of Marcell Dareus will hurt this defense a lot. -
They are not getting up from this one. You all will see. Sadly same old bills. I was Ok with Sammy being traded, not with Darby and definitely not with Dareus. Dareus departure will hurt the defense from now on, watch. OP is right GM is getting rid of talent and we are getting back unknowns because we don't know if the players we will pick will pan out.
