In this case that would be three years without a football “hit” taken. That doesn’t just come back. My best guess would be he’s 80% the player he was at best. So better than average. There would be more value in drafting a prospect. I hope he loses everything in payment to settle all of this, the Browns sell out, and this sets a new standard for acceptable behaviour. Can you imagine the fallout when they say “there were X number more women than were disclosed and we are opting out based upon new information.” the legal fallout alone, and this is then a basic admission they feel Watson is a Perv to a degree they can’t handle. I love seeing this too. Browns should pay a big price for not only hiring this guy but for setting a new low for acceptable behaviour. I’m thinking plaintiff attorneys knew all along about the Texans involvement and were waiting for the right time i.e. Watson getting a mega deal then they bring in Texans to the suit. Adds a ton of leverage in hammering Browns, Texans, the Hotel and Watson. I would t be surprised to see the NFL brought into it if Watson not suspended for a year + under the assumption they knew about all of this and didn’t act earlier to stop Watson or the trade. Getting interesting for sure!

True however there are multiple layers of consent, many of which generate from fear driving the situation, not actual agreement. Not sure who made the statement but it was along the lines of 3 or 4 of the now 24 are truthful and the others are all lying. That’s such a load because the attorneys vet this stuff incredibly well because anything can kill there case. Keep in mind the payouts here are in the 10s of millions so no way do they let alleged victims slide by. Also it’s statistically improbable to have 24 people all have a similar story unless they all got together to make it up. Even then that lie would have been brought forth already. I’m betting at least 95% of these women are telling a truthful version as they perceived it. if youve ever had a friend or family affected by this type of behaviour you would understand the guilt to disbelief ratio. And I pray you never do have to experience it. from my perspective this guy is guilty as hell and no I’m no attorney but if It smells like trash, looks like trash, and is thrown in the trash barrel….well it’s trash.

Wow you are right. This was supposed to be in the updated Antonio Brown thread. Not sure how I did that. Thanks for the heads up. Watkins is just an annoyance and disappointment-and as such no scorched earth towards him.

Any team giving this POS a job will only further the narrative that the NFL is a win at any cost business. They try to promote so much positive blah blah blah but allow scum like this to continue. if he does gain employment the team gets everything they deserve when he implodes. And this same notion goes for The Browns and the Watson deal. I’ll be loving the day Watson causes them to become insolvent and the team moves to London or wherever. Too bad for the fans, but a message needs to be sent to owners. there is enough talent out there who just don’t come with this much baggage.

Have been a fan of the Bills since the late 70’s, when I was old enough to get what sports were about. I remember the local rags would have a Bills season Schedule showing which High School teams they would be playing and how much they would lose by! Then the Super Bowl teams and all the excitement. So much fun to “welcome people on the bandwagon” especially as we had just moved to central NY where it was mainly Giants fans. all through the drought years it became a badge of honor to be a Bills fan even as we moved to CT, Mass, Long Island, Westchester then back to Mass where we are now. it’s been a wild ride and wouldn’t have changed it for all of Brady’s Rings. We get our First of several this year, and every fan has earned it! Go Bills!
