The Patriots are in completely uncharted waters here. They have a 41 year old starting quarterback with no successor in place. When the end comes for Brady it's probably not going to be after a long slow erosion of ability but rather with a mighty crash. That could take years or it may take months but I'm sure the Pats are thinking get a replacement in place sooner rather than later.

He currently does not appear on the active team roster. He's asked for his release. It's hard to see him playing in Buffalo that's all.

I can't say yes or no. I do know that everyone in this thread probably feels differently about Richie than we did a week ago. How could Beane and McDermott not feel differently too?

I can't imagine a scenario where Incognito plays for the Bills this year. If he's worth something to somebody and it benefits the Bills I say go do it.

I can't imagine what's going through this guy's head. I would absolutely not let him out of his contract.

I have always rooted for the local teams. Nothing irritates me more than a front runner. I have a sister-in-law that is a Packers fan for some unknown reason (other than they have had the best quarterbacking in the league the last 20+ years). She likes to remind me that the Packers have been better than the Bills. I told her that there is nothing stopping me from saying I'm a Patriots fan and ripping on her like an a-hole..

I'm of the opinion there's no such thing as bad publicity. This would change my mind.

One could make the argument that he went out of his way to not gain a competitive advantage.
