  1. I am getting tired of hearing the fire McDermott people. I don't think they have a grasp of reality. It is tough to win in the NFL. Even the great BB in his first 5 seasons as a head coach in Cleveland made the playoffs only once and went 1-1, the following year he missed the playoffs and Cleveland ran him out of town, how do you think Cleveland feels about that now. Tom Landry, certainly a great coach, didn't even have a winning record for his first 6 seasons. In his first 4 seasons making the playoffs he was 1-4. Didn't win his 1st SB until his 12th year coaching, then won a second in year 18 so it took him another 6 years to get back to the SB. Then there is the great and powerful Andy Read. In his first 14 seasons as a head coach with Philadelphia he made the playoffs 9 times and his record was 10-9, going to the SB just once and losing. Philadelphia ran him out of town and he went to KC. Even in KC he made the Playoffs 5 of his first 6 years and his record was 2-5. So in his first 14 playoff seasons his record was 12-14 which is basically the same win percentage as McDermott. It was not until his 21st season as a head coach that he won a SB. Philadelphia gave up on him, they probably regretted it for a while, KC stayed with him even though his playoff record was 2-5 in 6 seasons and now Andy Read is basically considered God of all the coaches. It obviously took Read many seasons to learn and get it right. I'll stick with McDermott because I think he will get it right sooner or later. Oh, and one more. The great John Madden, second best win percentage ever. In his first 7 seasons he made the playoffs 6 times and his record was 5-6, sound familiar.
  2. Everyone needs to think this through. If Miami wins they go to Baltimore. I expect Cleveland to beat Houston and if Miami wins and Cleveland wins then Cleveland comes to Buffalo and I would rather Cleveland go to Baltimore and let those two beat each other up. Then Buffalo can play the winner of that game after beating KC.
  3. He never said Allen sucks, he said stats don't matter. Also Allen led 4 scoring drives in those 6 losses, but they did not turn out to be winning drives. Our team is 8-6 and presently not in the playoffs. This is a team game, not an Allen game. Stop the bromance and look at the total picture. During the season it is only wins that matter. Right now Miami has more than we do, regardless of who they got them against. Also I would like to ask, what is more important, beating teams with winning records or not losing to teams with a losing record?
  4. I understand that the NFL is trying to cut down on the injury rate on returns, what I don't understand is the fact they they get the ball out to the 25 yard line. If ou call a fair catch at the 10 then you get the ball at the 10. Also if they are trying to cut down on injuries why not do the same on Punts. If the ball is kicked into the end zone on a punt it goes to the 20 yard line, so why not do the same on punts as they do on kick offs. If you call a fair catch on a punt inside the 20 then it automatically goes to the 20, that would be the same as the kick off rule other then the yard line. But they don't, so why is a fair catch on the kick off going to the 25 yard line. I would think that more injuries happen on punt returns then kickoff returns.
  5. I'll tell you a rule that should change:...............The being able to call fair catch on a kick off and automatically get the ball at the 25 yard line. I hate that rule. If you call a fair catch on a punt at the 5 yard line you get the ball at the 5 yard line, not on a kick off it goes to the 25 yard line. It takes away the strategy of trying to force the other team to return the ball. It irritates the crap out of me.
  6. But they replaced Dorsey with Joe Brady, another Carolina Re-run that had no success in 2 seasons as the OC with the Panthers, this team is lost and needs to start looking elsewhere for people other than the good old boys from the panthers.
  7. Mods, if this has been posted elsewhere please feel free to move it where ever you think it belongs Ken Dorsey has reached the level of his incompetence. I thought he did great as a Quarterback position coach and helped with the development of Josh, because of this I thought he would make an excellent OC, I was wrong. This offense has no Rhythm, no flow and looks extremely vanilla. Could it be that Ken Dorsey's mind can only handle a pro style college offense. He was great in college, not so much in the NFL. McDermott cannot handle two jobs. The Bills have a choice to make. Either make McDermott the head coach and hire a new DC, or make McDermott the DC and hire a new head coach. McDermott has proven that he cannot handle both. Just my opinion on this whole season so far.
  8. That might be the case, but it is because of those other games we have already lost that makes this one, that much more important.
  9. Are you saying that you don't think that Josh force fed Diggs last night. Josh had 30 attempts and 16 of them went to Diggs, you don't consider that force feeding, over 50% of the attempts to one individual. Only 3 to the supposed #2 WR. No attempts to RB's.
  10. I have a slightly different take on this. I agree the jags had the advantage as they have been over there for 2 weeks, but the NFL didn't tell the Bills not to go to London until the Thursday before and then do a walk through practice on Friday because the players were tired. Supposedly the Bills had a plan for the time change, well that obviously didn't work. Why weren't the Bills in London on Monday or Tuesday at least. The Ravens are on their way today for their London game next week. The whole way that the Bills handled the game was putrid. I like McDermott but his plan for this was pathetic. Hopefully they learned for the next time they have to go to London.
  11. I've taken all this information down and hope to make the tailgate in lot 26. Unfortunately I am attending with 5 others, 3 are Jets fans, 1 is a Giants fan and the other is a Panthers fan, though he says that the Bills are his second favorite and will be in Bills gear for the game. I am so excited about going and can't wait to see the Bills beat up on the Jets this year. I'll be in section 349, either row 14 or 15. I'm coming from Rochester, NY so I won't have a dish to pass, but will be more than happy to contribute if I can make the tailgate.
  12. And yet you still found it impossible not to look and then respond with a post that is a LAMP in and of itself.
