  1. That's the Buffalo way. A lot want that lunch pail blue collar team. Hate to break it to a lot of you but you need high end talent to win.
  2. I agree, he's JAG. I think the reason guys love him so much is he's a blue collar guy and he's the best the Bills have had in a long time. Both of which aren't saying much.
  3. Until McDermott stops being conservative on offense when he has a lead, nothing is going to change.
  4. There is always the other team in town that are good at home. Or are you like most Bills fans and don't Ike the Sabres or hockey.
  5. Who cares. Its sad that Bills fans have to resort to such low accomplishments.
  6. Maybe elite isn't the word. Those QBs are great but not on the same level as the top 5 ones.
  7. If you read what thebandit27 posted a few posts above yours that is what a franchise QB is. They are the guys that don't always need everything to go right for them to win. All those QBs you mentioned had everything go right for them to win. Yes they are elite QBs but not franchise ones.
  8. I consider them a tier below the top QBs. That's where I think Allen will most likely end up. They are good but most likely not going to carry their offense like Brees, Rogers and Mahomes do.
  9. Close. IMO franchise QBs are the top 5 QBs in the league. I don't consider a QB that starts multiple seasons a franchise QB. Tannehill has been been a starter for multiple seasons and no one considers him a franchise QB.
  10. He may be the starting QB for that long but IMO that doesn't equal franchise QB. IMO examples of franchise QB's are Brady, Brees, Rogers and Mahomes is starting to belong in that category. Guys that are top 10 in passing, TDs and completion %. I see Allen more in the tier below.
  11. Can't you just get ABC over the air with an antenna? Does anyone use an antenna anymore?
  12. I think that's the way the Atlantic Division is going to go all season. Tampa doesn't look like they are turning it around any time soon and the Leafs are still bad defensively with no backup goalie. I don't either team going on a run.
  13. I agree but it's one thing if they were at the bottom of the standings this season again. Right now they are fighting for a playoff spot. That's more then fans can hope for considering where they finished last season.
  14. They are fighting for a playoff spot so far this season. Its an improvement over last season. There isn't much available trade wise to help this team. It would have been nice to have Hall but not for the price Arizona paid to get him.
  15. You are going to be waiting a long time for an explosive offense. I don't see them changing the way they play on offense. McDermott is too conservative for that too happen.
  16. You would think McDermott, since he came from Carolina, that what Allen is best at is a lot like Cam Newton. A QB who makes plays with his legs and using bootlegs. Making Allen a pocket passer and a game manager screams conservative play.
  17. I don't agree that they are bad for the league. The point of football and sports in general is to win. If they pushes the rules so be it. Why is it a lot of older Bills fans love the Blue Collar lunch pail play by the rules Rockpile days of old?
  18. I agree. Its worked so far this season cause they have played a lot of teams with average or worse offense. Come the playoffs against KC or Houston I have my doubts it will work. You need to put up points the way the NFL is now.
  19. You're missing out as the Sabres are back to playing good hockey and have gone on a bit of a run to get to 2nd in their division. You are also such a big homer that you refuse to take an opinion that criticizes the Bills.
  20. What is so wrong with what he said? Allen and the offense hasn't looked very good against top defenses this season. They play 2 really good ones the next 2 weeks. That should be a bit worrisome for Bills fans. Guys like you are such big Bills homers in your rose colored glasses that all you see is 9-4 and refuse to see the flaws on this team. I bet you think every game is going to be a cakewalk. Just remember 9-4, 9-4, 9-4. That's all that matters. ? ^this guy. ?
  21. Maybe a little but the Ravens did a job of containing him. Allen isn't good enough at this point to overcome that. His deep ball is very incurrate and he doesn't read the defense good enough yet.
  22. I know that's the definition and Allen hasn't looked very good against good defenses this season so far.
  23. The past three games before the Ravens game were against teams whose defense wasn't very good. So far against the teams with good defenses he hasn't looked that great in them.
  24. One of those things doesn't belong. Romo is a fantastic color guy. As far as radio vs tv goes. Its much better on tv as Murph is a terrible play by play man. The fact he gets over excited by the smallest plays drives me nuts. Last week Allen ran for 5 yards and the way he called it, you would think he ran for 30 yards. I can't stand the Tre-day Tre-day call either. He is just so over the top.
  25. I know it's different owners but they still have averaged 2 games at home in December since the Pegula's have taken over. December home games have always been a hard sell no matter how good the team has been. Why is it hard to believe that the Bills don't want many December home games?
