  1. I have my doubts. Going by the comments on the article about the price of the PSLs I saw on Facebook, many are upset and a lot say they are priced out of season tickets now. As far as fans traveling, IMO it's similar to Sabres away games, in that a lot of former WNYers live in a lot of those cities.
  2. Everyone knew this was coming, so I don't understand the outrage.
  3. My point has nothing to do with the IRS or any of that. My point is back in the Rockpile days people bought season tickets cause they were a fan and to see their team. Sometime between then and now it's all about how much money can you profit off them.
  4. IMO that is wrong. I don't get the point of buying tickets if all you are doing is to profit off then. I always thought the point of being a season ticket holder was you were a fan of team. Now it's all about how much money you can make off them. I can understand selling tickets if you can't make the game. To go into the season with the plan of going to 1-2 games and selling the rest I see as a problem.
  5. They could do that. I also think the teams need to start stepping in like the Giants and Broncos did. If you sell more than half of your tickets they revoke them from you. I think it's a joke that season ticket holders sell as many as they do.
  6. With the new law NY state approved, I do wonder how much it will effect the secondary market. If they really crack down on people re-selling their tickets it change things.
  7. Never said that. I Pegula may not care but I'm sure the NFL does. Yes they want to be near the top of revenues.
  8. I have and yes those things happen. Not as frequently as in Buffalo were table slamming and condiment guy happens weekly. IMO part of raising the price is to eliminate the college tailgating atmosphere
  9. My response was for @mrags saying how they are going to change the experience and eventually adding restaurants in the area. As far as Cleveland goes, while they still tailgate, it's less a college feel to it. You don't hear of idiots like you do in Buffalo with the table slamming
  10. Wow. I get it, you and most others hate that you're getting priced out. I'm happy cause Buffalo is finally moving out of the blue collar era. Even Cleveland has upgraded.
  11. I like the direction the experience for the stadium is heading. I'm glad the college atmosphere is going away. I welcome the hotels, bars and restaurants. Those are things that my family likes to do before games.
  12. IMO the reason they are doing it this way is this their way of pricing out the riff raff that go to games. By charging what they are charging, the table slamming, condiment guys and drunks will no longer be at the games. It's there way of making Bills games more corporate and less college
  13. You can't compare housing prices to NFL tickets. This is the cost of having a team in the NFL. Unfortunately a lot of fans will no longer be able to afford to go to games. The thing is majority knew this was going to happen with getting a new stadium.
  14. It's not irrelevant but for the most part drafted players don't make a big impact that quickly
  15. Realistically how much is going to change roster wise that's going to significantly make the team better? A lot of big names in Free Agency are gone, and rookies more often than not don't make an impact in their first season. This team will still be a playoff team as the rest of the division isn't good but they most likely are closer to a 10 win team than a 13 win team.
  16. The direction they are going makes sense and is a positive. There is no way they will be better than last season when they are relying on that many draft picks to fill holes. I'm expecting a step back this season and possibly next.
  17. That's what this and the Morrow signing is. I'm only quoting what Sal said on the radio yesterday
  18. Basically a JAG
  19. From what I heard on the radio the reason they didn't want to rework Josh's contract more is the hope is go get to a point where they don't have to restructure a lot of contracts for cap reasons.
  20. I'm sure Bills fans are understanding with said approach. Same same can be said of the Bills. They lost a lot of their defensive guys.
  21. It makes sense to reduce the size of the stadium. It's the way just every new stadium is going. Less seats create higher demand. I get the frustration as a lot people are going to be priced out from going to games. The Bills will no longer be near the bottom in average ticket prices. New stadium will put them closer to the top.
  22. I get what you're saying. A lot of fans will be priced out. IMO it was either this or the BIlls leave town.
  23. Wish he would do the same with the Sabres. Instead he cuts scouting to 1 pro scout and refuses to spend in free agency.
