I could careless the effect it has the QB or the team. Being protected from ehe elements means more as a fan at the game. If the lack of over hang still means I still am getting snowed or rained then it's a poor design.

Agreed. My biggest issue is how there isn't much difference in what the Bills do on offense or defense during the regular season and the playoffs. You look at the Chiefs and how they dial up some unexpected plays for the playoffs. My other issue is the idea that cause they only lost by 3 points that just a few player upgrades, some luck and some calls go there way is all that's needed to make a Super Bowl. I can't get there, cause I'm of the belief you need more that just an elite QB to not only get it a Super Bowl but win one. The fact they have been very reluctant to mortgage the future to get some of those elite playmakers doesn't give me much hope that the outcome will change.

I do wonder if it's due to a couple of things in play. One being the focus not just on the current season but future seasons and not willing to take a step back season. IMO the bigger one is the culture factor. They are so high on culture that they miss out on some high end talent

I agree. IMO it all starts with focusing more on talent and less on culture and fit.

I agree Beane needs to be better in the draft and finding elite playmakers. I disagree completely with him being aggressive in Free Agency. He is good at finding vets to fill holes but for the most part none move the needle much. If he truly was aggressive he would have made a deal for DK Metcalfe.

It's not a fascination. You look at all the recent Super Bowl winners. They all had a true number 1 pass catcher. Either a TE or WR. I on the fence that they can repeat the offense from last year. A lot of things went their way last season. They played a lot of non playoff teams, had insane turnover differential, which isn't something that many teams repeat.

iMO Beane's biggest downfall is his unwillingness to take big chances. You look at Roseman and how he went out and traded for his number 1 WR and spent big bucks to sign a star RB.

He's done great things with winning the AFC East every season and being a playoff team each season. Most other teams would love that success. The other side is the goal is a Super Bowl

I agree it is. I'm not a hater, just want to see more elite playmakers on this team.

Many forget that they already do what they can to keep games close in terms of calls.

That works for keeping the Bills a double digit win team. The only thing it doesn't do is get those playmakers you need to win a Super Bowl

While luck does play a part, you also need elite playmakers to win as well. As good as Beane is at finding good players to fill holes in Free Agency and McDermott is at getting the most out of his players. The one are they haven't done as good as Super Bowl winning teams at is finding elite playmakers in the draft. They find good to great starters with amazing culture but that only gets you so far.

All the more reason to add some elite talent.

While it does happen that great teams don't win a Super Bowl going all in. At the same time what the Bills are doing hasn't got them there either. While it keeps them a top team every season, they have only been to 2 AFC championship games in that time. All I'm saying is try something different for a change. If not overspending in free agency, why not try to move up and draft a blue chip player.

While QB is important, he can't do it all alone. Look at the Eagles. They had a great QB, but also had an elite RB, an elite WR. On defense they had a dominant DT and top CB.

To win a Super Bowl you need more than one impact player.

That's fine. They may have a bit of a down year but it's worth it for a Super Bowl win

I don't have an issue with them building a team this way. It's good for consistency and keeps them competitive. My biggest problem is the ability to find elite playmakers in the draft. Outside of Josh, they really haven't found their Chris Jones or Kelce or Barkley. It's been a lot of really good team players.

Beane's very good at finding starters in the draft. Where he fails is finding elite or impact players.

I will give him credit in keeping the Bills a top team year in and year out. It's much better than the drought era. I still want just one season where they overspend on free agency.

I get it most of you are good with the status quo.

I don't care about other teams. The Bills made moves to free up cap space and for what? None of them move the needle.
