I am not going to bother reading the other 61 replies to this, but when Whaley gets another GM job, then start this thread over. Until then, which I predict will be never, you are insulting all the intelligent people on this board.

Ranking every NFL team's backup QB, from 1 to 32
Foreigner replied to SaviorPeterman's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
There must be a lot of people like me with nothing to do today to get involved in this nonsense about guys who only play when someone else gets hurt so bad he can't be out on the field. (This is like rating cold medicine for when someone gets sick). Too many variables on offense and defense and with coaches decisions, game planning, etc if these guys ever play. -
Just in Case Fitzpatrick Plays This Week
Foreigner replied to Bob Lamb's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
With Fitzpatrick he can play like the guy who earned the big contract here or he can play like the guy who has been cut over and over in the NFL. Will we get the good Fitz or the bad Fitz? -
11-19-0 and 128 yards passing, with a convincing NFL win

I!m not saying you are wrong, but it is debatable. You have to blame some of that 0-5 on him, and TT gets almost no credit for 3-2. Eli is almost immobile as a statue, whereas TT's legs are not used by our OC. Eli will always be remembered for his two rings, no matter how much his play has declined lately, and TT will always be remembered as a failed QB in the draught. Who is to say how many of the other 31 QB's would have won a SB if they had Eli's supporting cast. That is one question we will never know the answer to. -
You are right. Almost all local radio & TV people are homers. First of all their listeners or watchers are almost local people, so it is common sense that you do not want to hear how bad your team is, or is playing, and along with that, hear how bad the local player you root for is. Also advertisers do not want to lose listeners by hearing the local team knocked. In addition the on air personalities a lot of times have personal relationship with the people they cover daily throughout the season. Do you really think John Doe wants to hear how badly he screwed up, or how badly he or she is playing. Human nature is to be positive about the ones they are covering. Same thing as you want to say good things to your kids about them to boost their confidence and self esteem. Athletes want to hear the same.

In your opinion, how many of the 31 other starting QB's suck? -
Anybody else concerned about the Tampa game?
Foreigner replied to SaviorPeterman's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
To answer the first question on the thread, we should be worried about all 16 games, like every team should, and game 1 is just as important as game 16 or game 6 in the big picture. -
It is a beautiful story and it ends with Conor winning the Super Bowl for the Bills with a fumble recovery and a 99 yard run into the end zone with Sean carrying Conor off on his shoulders. Do they have the two leads yet?

Okay, but was he a love child or a mistake.

Anybody know if another one of our tackles Conor McDermott is any kind of a relative or relation to coach McDermott?

I guess when you tell the QB we are cutting your salary millions this year, trading all your WR's, have to stay in the pocket, we are running no Qb option plays for you, and you can't audible, let us see how you do with the offense this year, but we love you anyway so get us to the playoffs or else-------. -

The throw to Logan Thomas was not good, but unless he is going to the hall of fame, there is a lot of doubt what he can catch. He is probably a nice guy, but he is a failed QB, and the only reason he is on the team or even in a game as a WR is because Watkins, Woods, Goodwin and Hogan are gone, and correct me if I am wrong, but isn't he another Carolina reject, or is that K. Clay. If you are going to rely on either guys to make game winning catches all year long, that is really misguided. -

Shall we add from yesterday Trubisky 8-16-0-113 with the Bears winning with 27 points, Goff 11-21-0-124 with the Rams winning with 27 points. Drafting a QB you want and hope to throw for 300 every game to make the playoffs, is unlikely to happen. -
For all the Tyrod haters out there, and all the non believers who say you can not win in the NFL with the above QB numbers, the 0-5 Giants defeated the Broncos last night in Denver 23-10. This result with the Giants losing their top 4 receivers due to injury. For the Giants TE Engram was 5-82 and the Giants total offense was only 266 yards. Maybe we can have a very successful season if the OL can open up enough holes in the run game to get Shady going again, and with the Giants start and non playoff appearances Eli is not getting killed like Tyrod is. Denver's QB's threw for 394 yards. Just sayin.

Does that type of kale chip make the players feel better and take away their pains at halftime? -
Rodak: What the Bills Eat in a Week

Years ago, before Ballers there was a NFL series on TV that lasted only 1 season because the league did not like the way it was portrayed. Anybody remember the name of that show? -

What kind of candy do they like to eat? -
Regarding this new regime. 1. Our head coach could not get another head coach job in the NFL. nor has he ever been a head coach in the NFL 2. Was he hired then because we are still paying our last head coach and the owners would not pay more especially after paying a hockey player recently $10 Million per for the next 8 years 3. Our GM has never been able to get a GM job before. 4. Was he hired because of No, 2. 5. Or was he hired because he was McDermott's buddy in Carolina. 6. Our coach has done a good job as the talent has over achieved. 7. Our GM has done a poor job-where have you gone Mr. Ragland, Mr. Watkins, Mr. Woods, Mr. Goodwin, Mr. Gillislee, a city turns its lonely eyes to you.

Are you telling us something we don't know. We are lucky there are only 32 teams . -
We could go 11-5 and it's not all that crazy.
