  1. Aw crap McD just called a timeout watch for the TD here
  2. I wonder what happens when we run a screen in practice.. Does the universe just fold into itself?
  3. All 3 phases looking sharp
  4. I mean I don’t know that I’d call the roughly two quarters of tutelage under savvy veteran Nathan Peterman or the desperation move of having to pull a beat up Derek Anderson out of retirement “perfect” necessarily… But it definitely still beats being drafted by the Browns. 😏
  5. I’m not sure how much you can revere a guy who was benched at separate times for Cardale Jones and Nathan Peterman. I mean that’s a pretty dubious indictment of his abilities lol That being said Tyrod was a good guy and had some real highlight moments. Being part of the team that broke the drought means I’d be shocked if he ever has to buy his own drinks when there’s a Bills fan around 🍺
  6. Can never have too many running backs that you won't use, I always say. 😅
  7. Wow everyone who tried to say Hurts was better Josh needs to watch that throw on repeat, lol what a joke
  8. Not to defend Dorsey too hard, but to be fair, Reid does have literally decades more experience.
  9. Seems like the toes of the first foot were still down when he established control.
  10. That would most certainly be preferable to this.
  11. The late hit was stupid but that loss is on Burrow and the offense. Two minutes to get a go ahead field goal, can’t ask for any more than that.
  12. The NFL saves only the most elite crews for these types of games 👍
  13. This KC offense just keeps on humming plugging in JAGs all over the place. Crazy.
  14. Just when you think you’ve seen it all, the NFL gives the Chiefs a mulligan lol
  15. I mean, no chance we fall on that football if he does, lol
  16. Spot challenges rarely work out but I feel like that one might just get overturned.
  17. See that’s why I’m personally rooting for Cinci to advance and then get curb stomped by Philly, so they can taste the bitter sting of losing two Super Bowls in a row.
  18. These things take time! Just trust the process and bear with us, we’re looking into implementing more man coverage by 2024!
  19. C’mon we have to play the law of averages: if we throw a couple more high draft picks at the def line we’re bound to hit on one eventually!
  20. To be fair, he’s had several decades to work on it.
  21. Yeah I mean our base defense is fine and dandy, but like you say: the lack of well designed or creative pressure packages is a big issue. I suppose it doesn’t help that a primary candidate for a blitz, our middle linebacker Edmunds, is so brutally horrible at it. This is where a talented DC separates themselves from the pack. If you know your front four struggle to generate pressure and you can’t figure out a way to compensate for that, what are you even doing? Anyone can call base defense all drive while a talented QB is picking you apart.
  22. Look at the vacancies. Texans— even that org can’t be dumb enough to try and sell Frazier as the follow up to Lovie Smith. Cards/ Broncos— Frazier is not the guy who’s going to rehab Murray or Wilson’s career. No chance. That only leaves the Panthers and Colts, and who knows how those two nimrod owners think. But as has been pointed out in this thread and elsewhere multiple times, teams want to go young and offensive for HC these days. It’s sad to say but realistically he only gets a shot from an owner who wants a one year fall guy placeholder, like Lovie was for the Texans this past year.
  23. Of note is that this regime has acquired only one lineman of any exceptional talent in five years… and summarily shipped him away to another team. Good grief, man…
  24. Whiffing on three pass rushers in a row is a huge red flag. Can we even identify this type of player? Groot is the only reliably decent rusher we’ve got but he hasn’t shone up as anything close to elite. How much more in draft picks or dollars can we even invest in this position? And can we even trust those judging the talent those resources are used on?
  25. Dorsey is a JAG, and it’s a tall compliment to Allen what he can do with just another guy as his play caller. Maybe I’m just too depressed, but I can’t think of an instance this year where a commentator called out something we did on offense as innovative or noteworthy. They would just gush about what Allen did, not about what the play was designed to do. That’s a big difference from Daboll, who typically had several innovative concepts and creatively designed plays seemingly on a weekly basis. You hate to dog a first year play caller who is still learning, but it’s hard to picture where this offense can grow to under Dorsey when the foundation of something unique was nowhere to be found all year.
