  1. No no never happened ssshhh
  2. Old Man Poyer!
  3. Geez this is ridiculous.
  4. He’s turfed at least one and threw another into his center’s back, so at least two.
  5. Felt very much like a pre-planned talking point they shoe-horned into the first opportunity they had to use it.
  6. Yeah I don’t see any controversy about that one, but it’s become quite noticeable every time Josh gets a roughing flag announcers are mentioning him as playing it up to get one. Kind of annoying, really. Don’t see them doing the same for Mahomes or any other QB who looks for a flag after getting hit.
  7. Cook has made magic out of nothing several times this game!
  8. Problem is Pats have no reason to start forcing anything, they just need to putter along for another half picking up points wherever they can.
  9. Even Bass is broke, the suck is contagious….
  10. Hm.. what’s the opposite of blocking? Lol
  11. In all seriousness, if there isn’t a huge turnaround in the next few games I think even McD will have to consider making a mid season change.
  12. So, the new normal? Haha
  13. Took a huge individual effort from Cook, but yea lol
  14. Eh, I think that's more of a wash than anything. But KC has an all-time offensive mind scheming up their plays to help out their middling talent. Us not so much. There are a lot of teams that drafted high for several recent years in a row that managed to hit on some choice defensive talent. Jets obviously, but also Jags, Washington, even Cleveland. Not surprising the pendulum has swung back that way, at least until the big contracts come due for those teams.
  15. Personally I don't see anything wrong with Diggs being the focal point of the passing game -- I mean, that's what he's here for. He's also our most reliable catcher and it's not particularly close comparing him to any of the other options. Especially if he's in an exploitable matchup. There are plenty of DB's he can take to school, and frequently does so when its 1-vs-1. But the offense clearly lacks creativity in scheming up plays for our depth players: We have no "gadget" plays. We have zero screen game. Our dual-threat TE's are outlet options only. We don't just need more consistently from our 2nd and 3rd options, we need plays designed to exploit their strengths.
  16. I've still yet to see him turn around and play a ball this year... Maybe ever? Can't recall specifically last year, but this year I've yet to see him to do so, going back to preseason. If he's trailing in coverage, he's probably drawing a flag.
  17. Hey that might be the most creative play we’ve seen from him in two years 🤷‍♂️
  18. Yeah, to be fair, when I look at his offense I don’t see much of anything I trust either!
  19. lol guess we know why we didn’t kick the 55 yarder earlier
  20. Epenesa just sprung to life this season!
  21. I think in a normal offense those plays are expected to generate 3-5, but those Patriots teams / Tom Brady executed the offense so well you could be forgiven for thinking they were designed to generate 10+ yards each time.
  22. Unfortunately it's hard to frame these next three games in a way where if we've "learned" something from them, that something is a positive about our team. I suppose you could say that if we dominate these teams the way we dominated our 3 wins of the season so far, it means McD's scheme really does elevate its players and/or that our depth is pretty solid. But can the next three wins excite me? Well, depends on how much the Chiefs and Dolphins lose I guess, lol.
  23. I think the obvious answer is that a lot of more these guys are guilty of the same thing than you'd probably think. That's why when I post a hot take on this board after 15 minutes of Youtube replays and posters tell me to "leave it to the pros," I can confidently remain steadfast in my opinion! 😤😅
  24. Yeah I think there's enough anecdotal evidence from the last few years to say that Josh Allen is going to make any offense look great more often than he doesn't. The question has to be: what is Dorsey truly bringing to the table? Is he scheming up a unique offense where our dual TE's that we've heavily invested in are playmakers? Does he scheme up plays for our speedsters like Harty? Does he effectively get James Cook into open space? How about that two point conversion yesterday? Most of the high caliber OC's have new / unique looks just for those situations. It's going to be hard to dig on the offense on a year to year basis as long as Allen is our QB, but that doesn't mean we aren't being held back and it certainly doesn't mean the offense isn't costing us games. As it is, I don't see how we can make up ground vs. KC when their division is a dumpster fire. That 1 seed is a precious commodity and year after year we just can't take care of business and secure it.
  25. I mean the Patriots being shut out at home and falling to 1-4 on the season kinda warms my heart a little.
