    I mean we haven’t run a direct snap all year. Shouldn’t we have put that on film before running a gadget out of it? Thats like cardinal sin levels of stupid.

    Biggest concern of the whole McDermott era is probably that when this team starts really poorly, they just never are able to rebound and win. The mistakes continue and compound, usually in embarrassing fashion. That’s a lack of mental toughness, and it’s been the same recurring story for years.

    That’s right up there with our fake punt in the playoffs. We are never prepared to execute a trick play, this one was disastrous.

    Announcers didn’t make anywhere near as big a deal out of that throw as they should have. That pass was insane.

    The difference is that when the Chiefs are down, their defense ramps up and starts playing faster and harder.

    To be fair, most of the league looks not remotely good. We probably still win the division pretty easily, but if we couldn’t beat KC the last few years, I don’t see this team doing anything different .

    I mean this is kinda the defense a lot of us expected to start the season. We haven’t had any size/push up the middle, it’s just no one has taken advantage of it to this extent until now.

    As a franchise they epitomize “just here for the paycheck.” From the owner to the coach and right down to the field.

    Except it’s worse because now there’s 7 playoff spots which guarantees they’d be in even if they somehow flop the division. And at least the Pats had to contend with the Steelers, Ravens, Colts/Broncos (Peyton). In the AFC it’s only the Bills that are even a blip on the Chiefs’ radar.

    Wow that was a horrible sequence of officiating, coaching, and execution. Especially coaching.

    Chargers let KC keep it close and so are now well within the referee margin of influence. Even if they go up a score here, they’re cooked.

    It’s crazy watching that George Kittle TD over the heads of 3 defensive players and then thinking that Josh Allen has been as good as he’s been these past years without a single player capable of doing something that ridiculous to make a play. Overrated, my ass.

    The number of false starts they get in their “home” stadium is just outright embarrassing.

    Having two top shelf coordinators who will never be poached away by another team along with an elite level QB is just too strong a formula for most of the league to contend with, sadly.

    Well as usual a crappy team came hot against the Chiefs before imploding lol.

    Punting LA into oblivion and hoping for Chris Jones to do his thing could very well get KC back into the game.

    Chiefs are doing a great job of protecting Mahomes by running the ball and giving him nice, easy short throws 🤭
