Getting out played is not fun to watch, but it’s something you can live with.
Watching them shoot themselves in the foot with bone headed decisions and play design set up to fail? It’s soul draining. We’re on year 8, the kinks should be well ironed out at this point in the McDermott process - but it’s clearly not.
It’s sad as all hell, but I fully expected that Hail Mary to be caught after McD called that timeout.
But watching it happen, even expecting it, was funny as hell. Rushing two was just a hilariously bad call there.
It’s funny we were concerned enough about Bass’ ascension we extended him early and for big money.
We could have franchised him for like two years and spent a trivial sum, if it came to it. Which it never would have.
