    To be fair, they played the falcons on the road. Otherise they’re 4/5 for being home in prime time this year. 5/6 if you count the afternoon spot on thanksgiving.

    Trent Green actually had some solid analysis yesterday. Better than most of the color commentary goon squad on the air these days. On both of the replays of the two holding calls you could “hear” the silence as him and Harlan were just dumbstruck by what they were seeing lol

    I don’t think we’re one player away from fixing that — especially since a big factor is that we play in nickel most of the time and rarely go into a heavy defense.

    Yeah replay assist is just a sanctioned way for the league to control games however they want, whenever they want. There’s no clear rules for it. Sometimes you see it, sometimes you don’t. There aren’t even any subjective rules they have to adhere to as far as when and how to overrule field officials. It’s a joke.

    They seemed off to a decent start. No calls on the Rasul pass breakup. For a moment I thought we’d have a “let them play” type of game called fairly. That sure went out the window quick.
