  1. If only the Bills had a single player with the moxie that Tom Brady has. Instead, they collect a bunch of losers like Chris Kelsay, Paul Poz and George Wilson.
  2. I was pointing this out all along and was chastised by the homers on this board
  3. Mercedes Lewis agrees with you too
  4. Correction. Anyone who thinks there's truth to the blanket assertion that "Minorities have so many more opportunities than others" is automatically white trailer trash.
  5. You don't travel far from your mobile home do ya?
  6. What makes you think he actually cares? By what he spews to the press? You're a pretty gullible person, if that's the case.
  7. Ah this tried and true trick
  8. Speaking BS in front of any microphone that is put in front of you does not constitute heart. Heart is about playing hard, putting your body on the line for the team. Whitner avoids contact, often tackling by turning around and hitting the guy with his back. Did you watch the Dallas Monday night meltdown when Whitner stood around and watched an onsides kick roll by him? The guy is a phony both on and off the field. He sucks, always has, and his status as a media darling should not cloud the obvious truth: he needs to go.
  9. Thanks go out to Marv Levy, for giving up a high 2nd and a high 3rd and trading back into the first round to acquire a player who was the 3rd best defensive lineman on his collegiate team. In doing so, the team justified passing on Ngata. Why wasn't he cut 2 or 3 years ago? He's barely seen the field, yet he has comfortably collected the entirety of his first round contract.
  10. If the Bills front office extends this clown...
  11. and you're a poopy head.
  12. C. Biscuit definitely wins that trophy
  13. Excellent point.
  14. What difference does it make? If anything, by serving a prison sentence, Vick paid for his crimes. The only reason Big Ben didn't go to jail is because his victims aren't as cooperative because they don't want to be dragged through the mud in a trial. This is unbelievable... hurting dogs in today's world receives a greater outcry than committing rape. Only on TBD!
  15. Braylon didn't hurt any dogs, so he's not a bad person.
  16. Thanks for the dig, Dean-o. If you want to talk about "missing the point," if anyone has missed the point over the years about the Buffalo Bills, it has been you. After applauding virtually every personnel move made during the Levy's regime, it appears as though you missed the point. That said, I see what you're saying. Simmons' job as a columnist is more analogous to that of Sullivan. Nevertheless, I find Wawrow's work to be fairly run-of-the-mill, but it's not his fault that he covers a team that has become largely irrelevant.
  17. (Wawrow = Graham) <<<<<< Simmons Neither journalist holds a candle to Bill Simmons.
  18. Did you listen to what he said after performing well the first 2 games? "This is Kevin Kolbs team." "I know my role here is the backup. I am here to follow Kevin's lead." "Kevin Kolb is a good QB." "I'm just here to play my role on this team, which is to step in when Kevin can't go." That speaks plenty to his humility (or PR humility). I think you're splitting hairs here. He did the right thing in insisting that he stay at QB. It's highly unfair that the league tries to turn fast-running (and usually African American) QB's into slash type players, without giving them a chance to develop in a system tailored to their strengths. In most cases, it's the same idiots who claim Vick sucks as a QB also think Vince Young is garbage – give Vince Young some time to develop and give him some real weapons at WR and he too, will develop into a good QB.
  19. Genius idea. Play a guy at a position he's most comfortable with. How about playing Wood at center???? Nah, makes too much sense
  20. The fact that there is no upside, in and of itself, is enough of a downside. Why not let him hit the open market and see what he fetches? I'd guarantee he won't fetch that kind of coin on the open market. The Bills could have saved money by signing him after the season and also allowed him to settle into the position to see how well (or poorly) he plays. This organization is a mess and I'm convinced this was a Ralph Wilson call. No way Buddy Nix wanted this to happen.
  21. He's 31. 31 is already old for an outside linebacker. He's not very good. On top of that, he's playing a brand new position. Couple that with the fact that there was no rush to sign him (they could have waited until AFTER the season to see how well he adjusts), this was an absolutely stupid signing. It's just as foolish to say that "I'll wait til the season ends to determine whether this was a good signing" as it is to sign a guy before you have a full season to evaluate him! What is the upside in signing him now? It makes absolutely no from a business standpoint or a football standpoint.
  22. This post was absolute nonsense (no disrespect intended). An outside linebacker in a 3-4 needs to be fast. He is not a run stopper, either. Have you seen him trying to make open-field tackles these last few games? Yes, he's good at stoping the run as a defensive end. It's a totally different ballgame as an outside linebacker. Why this front office continues to insult its fanbase is beyond me. After this contract, Jason Peters for $8M a year doesn't seem so bad!!!!
  23. EOM
  24. Terrance McGee doesn't seem to have a problem and he did a great job in coverage all day. Whitner has been consistently slow to react. Today, he got beat quite a few times. As you pointed out, a nonexistent pass rush doesn't help him but Donte's lack of coverage skills are fairly apparent. If Nix is smart, he'll allow Whitner to move onto greener pastures next season.
  25. Do you have anything to say about the substance of his post? Didn't think so.
