I’m not saying he was likely to be drafted in the 3rd round. I’m saying it’s not that far fetched that he could have been.  It’s also not far fetched that it was a reach trading up for him and drafting him @ 23.  I hated it at the time.   I hate it even more now.  I haven’t given up on him yet, but Josh freakin Norman got the nod over him.

Everyone evaluates differently.  A reach to one evaluator might not be a reach to another.  Again, it’s all subjective.   Elam sure looks like a reach @ 23 to me.

I remember feeling like it was a panic trade up pick. And I hated that it felt like beane was panicking and was caught off guard.

And unfairly to Elam it hurts so much more that breece hall went right after and we have to watch him look awesome in the division.

Godwin was lost that whole play and was at no point a  threat to catch that pass.  This is all getting massively overblown.  Mike evans straight up knocked over 1/3rd of our team with a blatant opi which definitely didn’t help things.. if we got called for dpi on that play and they got away with that I never would’ve watched football again 🤣

I dont know man, I saw it different. Godwin has excellent hands and is a good wr. If he turns around half a second sooner I'd bet he catches that ball. It almost hit him.

But I agree there was opi and dpi all over the place I'm glad the refs finally let it just play out.

  3. What scared me is no one played the ball, if Godwin turns around, the bills might miss playoffs.

I don't understand, im not a professional athlete but i know a hail mary in the endzone you dont have to cover recievers, it's going to be a jump ball, you play the ball and bat it down.

I've always wondered why teams don't designate pre snap, ok tallest DB your playing the jump ball and batting it down, shortest db your only job is putting your arm between the recievers hands and breaking it up. Last night it looked like a monkey humping a football, like no order just school yard hail mary.

You are crazy to think Allen had a bad game. The stats say otherwise because the reality is otherwise.

    75% completion

    325 yards passing

    2 pass TDs

    1 INT

    8 YPA

    107 passer rating

    41 yards rushing

1 rushing TD (that was actually difficult, not a tush push)

That would be the best game of the year for like half the QBs in the NFL. He was handcuffed in the second half by coaching.

I think josh had a good night, not amazing but good. You can tell he wasn't ecstatic about his performance post game. I felt like he didn't put the dagger in at the end of the game, like he played the first 80% of the game great but just needed that last push and a few drives sputtered. You could argue it was play calling but it just didn't feel like vintage josh there at the end. Just wanted to see him make a statement in the 4th and put them away.

  5. I hope McD knows after these last 2 games that this defense isn't what you should put the game on the line with. We needed some kill shots. Hind sight is 20 20 but I'd like to see them go for it on 4th and go for the throat. But he went conservative and it almost cost the bills.

Now that BB’s game plan is on film, every team is going to do exactly that until the Bills figure out how to beat it.

I think they have the answer in Kincaid, josh just refused to take short throws. There's some really good YouTube breakdowns of the all 22, and Kincaid was doing an excellent job sitting in spaces vacated by a defender. But josh got flustered and was trailing so his eyes were down field for the home run balls.

  7. Ive been on the Renfrow wagon since last year. I wanted Beasley 2.0 for Allen for awhile.

But ill admit after watching the jets, jags, and Pats games I've started to change my mind, mainly because I don't think it's a personel issue or all on the play calling, josh allen has been flat out playing bad. He seems to be in a mental funk, and I honestly don't know if another slot wr will help as much as getting a defensive key player to help the depleted defense.

Honestly, there are so many things wrong that formation seems like the least of it. I would probably start with:

    - lack of big plays

    - pre snap penalties

    - OL getting steamrolled

I think recievers not getting seperation at the line, and everyone but diggs having disappearing acts could be added to your list.

I don’t think Allen is disinterested, I think he’s lost confidence.  We saw him jittery in preseason.

After the go ahead td he was on the sidelines hyping up the D. I don't think he was as quiet and disinterested as everyone thinks. But you can tell he's visually not happy with their performance the past few weeks

I saw a tweet somewhere saying the Bills can save a lot of cap space cutting Knox post 6/1 next off-season.

If Beane is serious then it has to be done. Kincaid TE1. No more 12p. Use the Knox money for a legit #2 WR or RT.

Knox can still go to sabres games with Josh in the offseason. Or Josh can make a new friend.

I saw the same tweet haven't checked to see if its accurate but if it is, I'd be willing to bet he's cut, the FO loves knox but that money is going to be needed elsewhere. His production so far can be easily found in FA for much cheaper. Beane bet on his freak abilities much like he did with josh, but it hast panned out and he's not a game changer at all.
