Rank The Buffalo Bills Starting QB’s Since Jim Kelly
Norcalbillsfan replied to JohnNord's topic in The Stadium Wall
Seeing our failed draft picks written down for the first time is a different kind of pain. And to be a kid bills fan excited about every one of them. Alot of trauma. -
Ya Its a long shot but the key is raiders/broncos. Raiders somehow always almost beat or beat the cheifs. If the raiders pull that off at least once, chargers win again, packers beat them, and some how broncos pull off a miracle and beat the cheifs once, I think the cheifs are out. I know we destroyed them but a playoff path without the cheifs? That's a dream come true.

I definitely think alot of media are overreacting with the " mahomes has been figured out" He's still elite and can almost singlehandedly beat any NFL team any day. With that said I fell like its pretty obvious why they have lost the games they have, their secondary is atrocious and any competent QB has been able to shred them. Most of the time mahomes and hill can have a track meet and make up for the D. But Allen Herbert and Jackson are qbs that can keep pace and if the opposing D can get a few stops or FGs the cheifs have an uphill battle cuz that secondary couldn't stop Glenn Foley.

I was wondering the same, thank God they were asking too much so the beane said no. Seems like there was a ton of drama all off season to settle for a 5th. For the amount of draft capital they already have, a 5th doesn't seem to matter that much.

Last week I would agree with you and say they will cut brieda. But in the cheifs game you could tell daboll wanted to get the screen game and swing passes to rbs going, and they literally dropped the ball. I wonder if they give brieda a shot, I think they really want to add passing out of the backfield to the arsenal. But he's definitely a cut candidate.

Seeing as Gabe is barely getting attention I'd say kumerow would probably be the guy.

Gotta win this one. Preferably embarrass the titans, if we barely win I think there will still be rumblings about the chargers/ravens being the AFC team. But if we wipe the titans I think it will solidify the message we sent last week.

The Edmunds Report - Week 5, Bills v. Chefs, 10/10/21

I haven't had the most confidence in edmunds for awhile now, but he has been playing better and I love it. I hope he proves me wrong and becomes the LB we spent so much on. -
If I was the titans I'd do what the cheifs did last year, be extremely physical with our recievers, take a few flags but don't let josh get cooking, then try to put pressure on josh. Turn it it into a ground and pound and let Henry wear down the D. And the occasional deep shot to Julio that demoralizes the D and puts pressure on the offense and puts josh into hero mode and possibly makes mistakes. But unfortunately for the titans our o line is better and our run game is much better. And like you said we have Beasley, he wears down defenses. And we have Sanders and Knox, you can only cover so many. And our pass rush is much better. We have every tool to make it tough on the titans

The most important factor that Rousseau brought to the cheifs game was respect. Mahomes wasn't necessarily always uneasy in the pocket when Rousseau was on the feild but you could tell mahomes played different, he rolled out different, he didn't try to dual Rousseau in athletesism like he did with Hughes. Really makes me feel good about future playoff matches with mahomes and jackson.

I've never really understood the collinsworth hate, but tonight when asked if josh allen was In the mvp race and he said " ehhhhh he's pretty good" then goes on to make every single excuse for the cheifs on why they lost, then hinting that the BILLS won cuz of the refs?! Seriously all of America has been tweeting how the refs are screwing the bills.

Hands down the worst call of the game, there were more back breaking calls but I rewatched that play 3 times and honestly thought they had to of called the wrong number -

It was actually a great play by kelce, he had the awareness to know he's not catching the ball and immediately sold the PI. Veteran move -

He was also being blocked. The call is such a grey area but there was no winning for Oliver in that situation, the ball was in mahomes hand when Oliver engaged in a takling motion while a blocker pushes him down. I don't put that on oliver -

The refs and collinsworth wanted this game to stay interesting l, that was the dagger in the cheifs. -

Oliver was engaged in a tackling motion while the ball was still in mahomes hand, by the book that is not a penalty. -

That was a " let's keep the game interesting" call by the refs -

Cheif fans will complain about that offensive pass interference, but that was an obvious rub route, fans think Gordon was "running a route" his sole purpose was to drive white back into the other dB and kelce comes underneath wide open. Patriots were masters at it for years. -
