  1. I agree, bad pass by Stafford but Jefferson saw that was gonna be short a mile out. At least try to bat that down, he looked like he gave up.
  2. Id love to have a healthy barkley, but he will be too expensive. Trades like that are tough on a gm, if beane trades for Barkley and shells out the money and the bills dominate the nfl and lose the afc title game then fans and media will be grabbing pitch forks and torches. If beane makes the trade and the bills win the Superbowl he's a genius and it's one of the greatest trades in bills history. It would be a risky move by a gm.
  3. Ya Feliciano can't stay healthy. Linderbaum would be a steal, unfortunately his stock has only gone up the last few weeks. Klein played pretty well when he's in and I like the toughness he brings, unfortunately the front office is going to stick with Edmunds probably for a long time. Beasley is a tough one for me cuz I don't like taking weapons from josh, I wanna keep the continuity going with the passing game.
  4. I dont think he's a bad player, hes a good space eater and played well at times. But the reason he hasn't lived up to his contract is his reliability. Can't count on him, pay a guy that much money he's gotta be on the feild.
  5. I won't take anything from cam in his prime, he was elite. And he tore up his throwing shoulder which led to the dumpster fire that is his passing game now. But where joshs game is different is his ability to read and adjust to defenses. He can sit in the pocket and pick teams apart. His rushing ability is infuriating for defenses but if you completely take away joshs rushing ability he's still going to beat you with his arm. When cams rushing game wasn't elite anymore you see where his game went, but like I said before he had some tough injuries that led to his downfall.
  6. James Washington is 5'11 with very deceptive speed and still only 25 years old. Wouldn't mind getting a guy that takes the top off on a cheap prove it deal.
  7. That's a great point. And they will have to pay Andrew's. But I still think they pay Jackson. And try to establish the run game and get back to solid defense. I'm sure the ravens know they can't just give Jackson recievers and ask him to win with his arm. Harbaugh is a smart coach, he knows what he has in jackson.
  8. Jackson is a tough one. He and the ravens got royaly screwed on injuries this year. Jackson is dangerous when the ravens run game is dangerous. Run, run, play action to Andrew's across the middle, rinse repeat. But the ravens run game was desolated by injuries and you saw what happened to Jackson's game. Jackson will never win a championship with his arm alone like josh showed he could do in the playoffs. But if the ravens got back to a superior defense and superior run game and let Jackson burn defenses with his legs then the ravens are easily a playoff team. I think the ravens believe if they surround Jackson and let him make special plays with his legs they could win a super bowl, therefore I think they give him a contract just under Allen.
  9. Many say mahomes just had a bad game against the bengals, I disagree. I think the difference between the bills and bengals beating the chiefs was Hubbard getting his hands on mahomes and getting him to the ground. After that, mahomes was off. The bills got to mahomes and he leaked out for big gains, it fueled mahomes. Bengals had a difference maker on defense that made a play and now the bengals are going to the super bowl. So I agree with your take, a single sack by the bills and I think we host the bengals.
  10. I thought he was gonna be big when he got drafted. But ya deep threat with big Ben the past few years didn't work. I wouldn't mind kicking the tires on him, he did nothing the past few years so he would probably come cheap.
  11. Of course groot and Boogie aren't gonna grade well, the bills run a rotational D line. Snaps are hard to come by especially as a rookie. No matter how good they are they aren't going to stack up massive sack numbers cuz they aren't on the feild as much as many D lineman in the league.
  12. That's true, still seems like alot of conjecture. But oh well not our problem anymore.
  13. They just lost one of the greatest football games ever played and it will for ever be remembered that the Bills lost cuz of coaching. I'd imagine even if these guys are best friends they probably had some things to say about eachother. Like all competitive men they were probably pissed and vented some frustrations. I could easily see daboll being pissed and visibly frustrated and that taken as "daboll wants out" by the front office. There's probably still alot of anger and frustration from that loss cuz there were serious blunders from all coaches that lead to a loss, but I'd be willing to bet there's no serious conflict or dislike between daboll, mcd, Frazier.
  14. He knows the system and he's a guy that knows what it's like to be an nfl qb and how the game works, he may not have been a successful nfl qb but he's been there and knows what to ask of a young qb. Makes it much easier to communicate with josh.
  15. Best of luck. We need someone that installs a "hit the other team in the mouth" mentality. I wanna see some toughness in 22, definitely didn't see any fire this year. And definitely someone that can bring out spencer browns potential.
  16. Hubbard getting mahomes to the ground won the game. Mahomes was a little skiddish after that and threw a pic to lose the game.
  17. Defensive play makers, Hubbard coming up and hitting mahomes and finishing him to the ground won the game. Bills didn't have anyone come up hit mahomes and get him to the ground.
  18. So thats what a game changing play maker on defense looks like...
  19. Plus his td number could have easily been crazy. I could be wrong but I think Knox had 4 tds called back on penalties this year, and had quite a few targets in the end zone that he couldn't come down with
  20. He's good enough right now, the TE isn't a focal point for our offense but he's getting better every year. He's an absolute freak athlete and hasn't played TE position very long he probably just now has gotten the same amount of snaps that sophmore or rookie TEs have. The TE position takes a long time to master in the nfl. But once they do they seem to have long careers, kelce is 32 and still wrecking defenses, and Knox is much more athletic than kelce and gronk.
  21. True saquon now is an injury risk. But when he's healthy there is no question he's a massive upgrade to our offense. In no way am I advocating to get saquon but there's no doubt qbs dream of a rb like a healthy saquon. I don't think moss was given a solid chance to prove what he can do, and not necessarily that he was a total bust but the bills themselves made the mistake of drafting 2 rbs that are very similar. It's unfortunate that moss kinda brings the same style of running that Singletary does, so if Singletary is doing good and doesnt fumble why put in moss? I don't think it's moss's fault that's his style of game, it was just a miscalculation of the bills that the combination of 2 similar rbs would be successful.
  22. I agree I'm always open to ideas on improving the team and Barkley does that day 1. But the giants don't have a reason to trade him, and I don't think many teams want to spend 7 mill on him for 1 year. Granted the only teams that would do that are a team like the Bills making a superbowl push. But it's pretty obvious modern day nfl that paying money for a rb is a massive mistake. I'd bet the panthers and cowboys would go back and not sign big money to rbs. The formula for modern nfl is draft rbs pay them rookie deals, wash rinse repeat. This was the bills plan but they swung and missed on moss. Now we need to replace Singletary before his contract is up.
  23. True, these qb Contracts have crippled their franchises in many ways but other than maybe wilson a few years ago those qbs aren't in the same conversation as the teir of Allen, mahomes, Rodgers. Mahomes and Rodgers have established themselves as once in a lifetime talents, its looking like josh is pretty much there as well. The qbs listed here are more the category of the "we probably can't find better so let's surround him with talent" but you have to pay them a bloated contract cuz some other starving team will. And thats when franchises fall into a hole. Many of my friends are raiders fans, and I've always told them carr is the downfall of the raiders, hes a great guy and a solid qb. But he's that perfect amount of just good enough but not good enough, and he will always command a healthy contract that will take money from the cap thats needed else where but will never have the mahomes/allen factor.
  24. It comes down to hitting on picks and cheap FA that out perform their contracts. The cheifs have to pay mahomes yes, but they just hit an absolute home run on Humphries and looking the same for Bolton. Two guys they get to pay pennies for the next 4 years, that's what championship teams do. I've been waiting too many years for this. Just let me pay for a "bills app" that gives me all live games and everything bills for a monthly fee.
  25. Quality rbs are gonna fall really far in this draft. We could see great returns on a late round rb. But honestly I just want speed at rb. Look at brieda was able to do when he knew the plays or didn't fumble, he had some electric plays. It was wild to see a Bills rb blow past a LB. I'm sure I sound like a broken record at this point but not giving josh a speedy check down option or home run hitter in the screen game is wasting joshs talent.
