Depending on what WR or CB gets to us at 25. Whoever is bpa at those positions. I would like to have a young high upside guy learning from diggs to replace davis if he becomes too expensive.

Just stay healthy and I think it's a solid move. I'm still all about a WR in the draft though

Matt Barkley Back? (Yep! deal not yet known)
Norcalbillsfan replied to DrDawkinstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
He wanted back in buffalo and him and josh are very close. He is a very unselfish teammate, you see him on the sidelines with josh on the iPads going over coverages between series. He wants to be apart of the bills family and help the team whatever way he can, for that I like the signing. -
Better than brieda, obviously. Brieda couldn't even get on the feild with the dolphins. He's also a pretty good blocker. I still think bills go get a late round RB, and it will be a competition for rb 2.

Like the Watson pick, typical bills pick. Extreme athlete with all the physical gifts just needs to be brought up the right way.

I think bills go pass catching specialist with pass blocking ability. Bills obviously wanted mckissic pretty bad, making me think mcD values pass blocking over speed. Though I would love the whole package.

Bills trade 7th rnd pick for backup Case Keenum
Norcalbillsfan replied to Hebert19's topic in The Stadium Wall
Needed a qb that could come in and still beat the jets or dolphins if josh is out a few weeks. Especially with how competitive the AFC is, can't afford a loss to the jets. And keenum gives us that, I like it. -
A poor man's Patterson (Laviska Shenault Jr.)

Crowder has always been solid even with bad qb play -
Low key good move, he was never a world beater but he was always excellent at containing lamar jackson. He did a great job at not letting athletic qbs get around the edge. We will need that especially in the playoffs.

Breaking: Von Miller to bills, 6 year , 120 million
Norcalbillsfan replied to BillsMafi$'s topic in The Stadium Wall
This. I was saying this about Diggs and drafting a young WR. It makes a Diggs contract so much more valuable, because a young WR can learn from the best. Rousseau and Boogie can now learn from the best. -
Bills sign OJ Howard to 1-year deal
Norcalbillsfan replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
When i saw this headline my heart sank because i was afraid of how much it would cost. And its a great deal, this is the Allen factor, 1 year prove it deal with an elite QB and a SB chance. -
McKissinc changes mind, returning to Washington
Norcalbillsfan replied to Logic's topic in The Stadium Wall
Would have liked his abilities but iam low key happy cuz now maybe we go get a cheap rookie deal with speed. Spend that money else where. Hope mckissic enjoys watching josh allen throw to a different RB in January from his couch. -
Chandler Jones signing with Raiders - 3 years, $52.5 mill
Norcalbillsfan replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
Weird that he says it's not about the money, and he clearly takes the money. Can't blame players wanting Vegas, no state income tax, warm year round, cheap housing, brand new everything, quick flight to LA, and so much money to be made with advertising for casinos. Disappointed cuz I thought he truly just wanted to play for a ring when clearly that was false. -
JD Mckissic to Bills 2 year, 7 million
Norcalbillsfan replied to BillsMafi$'s topic in The Stadium Wall
While I hope the bills still try to draft a late round RB with lightning speed, I think alot of the posters on here that are against this signing are missing just how important a pass catching RB that can also pass block is. That dual ability is extremely helpful to a QB and a first time offensive coordinator. He's not the big name home run hitter we all would like but there's a solid chance he helps josh adjust at the line in pass protection. And to those saying he's brieda 2.0, josh and the bills had absolutely no trust in brieda for pass blocking, or even knowing the playbook. -

Zay Jones to Jags for 3 years up to $30M with $24M base
Norcalbillsfan replied to Alphadawg7's topic in The Stadium Wall
Wow, zay has grinded and worked his way back but... wow, if I was entering the draft I would call zay Jones agent cuz.....wow -
Bills converting Matt Milano salary to signing bonus
Norcalbillsfan replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
Gotta be for a move on jones, at least I hope so. -
JD Mckissic to Bills 2 year, 7 million
Norcalbillsfan replied to BillsMafi$'s topic in The Stadium Wall
It's not a marquee signing ill give you that. But Brieda flashed on a great running team in the 49ers, and did absolutely nothing on a bad dolphins team, comes to buffalo fumbles and didnt know the playbook half way through season. He couldn't take pass catching work from Singletary, I mean love Singletary but that's not his strength at all. Mckissic has done nothing but excel in the passing game on a bad redskins team with bad QB play, not too mention he was so good at catching the ball he kept the pass catching role from gibson who was the best pass catching RB in his draft class. He's not as fast as brieda, but few in the nfl are. I think dorsey will be happy with an excellent pass catching back in his tool box. -
Edit! McKenzie is back on a 2 year deal worth 4.4 million
Norcalbillsfan replied to BillsMafi$'s topic in The Stadium Wall
True, belichick refused to adjust, but Mckenzie still looked deadly when the ball touched his hands and he made some great catches. I don't expect him to be like that every week, but the bills don't sign him without Dorsey telling beane he wants to use him in his offense. I'm excited to see what Dorsey has planned for Mckenzies speed. -

Norcalbillsfan replied to BillsMafi$'s topic in The Stadium Wall
I'd imagine there's a good chance that Dorsey had a hand in this. Pretty much everyone thought he was good as gone, and wasn't utilized that often with Daboll. Dorsey must want to recreate the patriots game with him. Hopefully dorsey has a plan on how to use him and make him worth the contract -
There's no way they think he's the guy. He's legitimately the worst in the nfl and had arguably one of the worst single games in nfl history, and we are restructuring..... are we paying him 1 mill to just hold?

Agreed, there's so many cheap options at RB, why gamble on a small guy that had a devastating knee injury. I would have been all for it if not for the injury.
