The reason its been worse in the playoffs is because they are playing the best of the best offenses, and in this day and age of football a good defense is not going to stop a good offense. The Bills need to work on making their offense better than the Chiefs, not trying to stop them with defense.
I would agree with you to a point, the bills needed to be much better on offense against the Bengals, the defense and frazier dont deserve all the hate. But on the other side the bills are one of those best offenses, and Anarumo schooled the bills. Completely shut down josh and the game plan. How? Scheme. Bengals D is not more talented than the Bills but from a coaching standpoint Anarumo completely outclassed frazier. Bengals made it to the superbowl because of Anarumos adjustments at the half against the Chiefs. The Chiefs beat the Bengals this year because spagnola dialed up ways to take advantage of the back up O line of the Bengals. And bucs won a superbowl because they dialed up ways to get after mahomes.
Iam not a guy that's pounding the table to get rid of frazier and I know we could be much worse on defense, but I think that frazier has shown what he is, consistant. He will always have a good defense but he will never be the guy that dials up a scheme that debilitates an opposing QB and dictates a game. It will always bend but don't break. And maybe it's time to see if the bills need a scheme to help them past the Bengals/chiefs.

Depends on what edmunds wants and what Wagner is willing to take for a SB run. There's a real chance that edmunds thinks he can get around 20 mil and there's probably teams like the giants that would pay it. Bills should not tie up that kind of money.

It could be a death blow to the entire organization if they don’t handle this right.
Getting a boatload of draft picks seems to be the safest bet.
Agreed, at this point it might be best for both parties to part ways. Ravens are in a really tough spot, pretty much damned if you do damned if you don't.

I doubt ravens pay that, but there might be a crazy enough franchise to do it.

If we are bringing back older recievers at the end of thier career my vote is Beasley. We saw what happened to this offense without a solid slot.

I notice that Bijan Robinson got quite a few votes. His supporters are silent but they seem to have a strong presence here. I must say, we could do a lot worse than drafting Bijan Robinson at 27. A lot worse.
I've been firmly against drafting and paying RBs forever. But, if you get possibly the best player in this draft and the best RB prospect since Barkley at 27, im about it. I see what breece did for the jets offense, and Robinson is better than Hall in every way.
I highly doubt he makes it to 27, I'd be surprised if he gets past lions, cowboys, among others.

Draft one, sign one.
In the Draft:
1.) DeMarvion Overshown
2.) Jack Campbell
3.) Drew Sanders
Free Agency:
1.) Leighton Vander Esch
2.) Jordan Jenkins (Tweener/have him lose weight)
I'm a Vander Esch fan and he completely fits the attitude McBean loves. But he's more of an old school LB, he reads and runs down hill to make a tackle. Fraziers D asks their LBs to do alot in coverage and be space eaters in the middle of the feild. That's not Vander Eschs game, though he is tall and lanky he's more old school style. It would be getting an upgraded version of AJ Kleins style of game.

I've pounded the table for years to not pick RBs in the first and don't pay RBs. But after watching the playoffs/superbowl and what Hall did for the jets. A weapon like Robinson changes my stance. I don't care about past picks, Robinson might be the closest to a saquon prospect we've seen. And he's better than Breece Hall. I'd take Robinson and draft upside WRs and Oline with every pick after.

An accurate QB that always had elite slot options and excellent protection. Wear down defenses with 4 yard gains the length of the feild, don't turn the ball over. Then on defense always take away the opposing offenses best weapon. And 9/10 belichick would take away the run game and force qbs to win with their arm. Usually worked out for them.
-
Mahomes is also elite at manipulating LBs with his eyes. When he gets LBs to open their hips to the wrong side with his eyes kelce already has them beat.

We need Beasley or Crowder back on a cheap deal. Slot has proven to be waaaay too important to joshs game than to hope Shakir can do it and do it well. Too much money needs to be spent on a real #wr2 to be able to go out and also get a great slot reciever. I would sign Beasley for cheap and draft a slot reciever and let him learn from Beasley or Start getting Shakir more slot time with Beasley. But letting Beasley and Crowder walk and hoping Shakir can just step in can't be the option.

To me it's more what's happening with Frazier. Seeing as we haven't had any news he must be staying, and if Frazier is staying then he's going to want his QB. If it was a new DC then I think edmunds is gone.

Nice job, this is cool to see broken down. I'd imagine an extension/restructure with Dawkins will happen and free up some money this year.

Gabes problem other than he can’t catch is that he’s horrible in the short and intermediate areas of the field.
And he doesn't work back to josh on broken plays, which would be a massive help to joshs game. On the all 22 you will see him just kinda standing across feild while josh is scrambling looking down feild. Maybe the most dangerous part of mahomes game is his ability to scramble and hit a reciever working back to him. Kelce is elite at it. Then you see josh scramble and Gabe is opposite feild just giving up on the play.

I'd be surprised if he got to the bills, the eagles, panthers, bucs, giants, ravens, and even titans will be looking at an RB. I think the bills having gaping holes on oline and WR2 will not allow the bills a luxury pick at RB in the first.

What makes Payton better? Because he has an offensive background?
He had one of the best QBs ever in his prime for majority of his time in NO and managed to make it beyond the Divisional Round 3 times in 15 years.
People complain that we lack talent but are cool with giving up multiple draft picks for a coach? Pass
Seriously, does no one remember when Payton was in the hot seat? He was on the brink of getting fired by an organization that loved him. He put the saints in cap purgatory and questionable draft pick trades to make playoffs and lose. I'm not saying he's terrible at all, but I don't understand the meteoric rise that he's the savior of any franchise.

So this article pretty much just says " if you have an elite qb pay them, but it makes the cap difficult, but if you have just an ok qb don't pay them big money" glad they put that secret out there.

Both teams actually scheme. Change the way they play each team. The bills do not.

Horrible calls down the stretch against Cincy. What garbage
NFL wants mahomes to be the new micheal jordan "flu game" so bad. I'd be livid if I was a bengals fan, mahomes got so many breaks and calls their way all game. That last dive Hubbard got drug to the ground by his jersey, no call.

Some bad money tied up in places that hurt us as well. It's definitely hindsight but I'd wager poyer would already be signed if we didnt pay terrible money to guys like star and Vernon butler.

I like how everyone acts like Hodgins should have been an obvious starter with the bills, now that he found success where he is the ONLY wr on the giants that's healthy.
People forget he was never healthy with the bills. Never really was able to prove anything cuz he couldn't get on the feild.

They definitely need a WR2.
Gabe is good as your 3rd/4th option, but he’s not a 2.
Before the season I was a big Gabe Davis hype man, I thought he was gonna be big this year. In my opinion his stats show a better year than he really had, I think he was pretty disappointing, even excluding his drops. He doesn't run great routes, for a big boy he doesn't big boy or high point well and I think he didn't have great effort especially in cold weather games.
If you watch the all 22, there's alot of plays Gabe doesn't work back across the feild for josh especially cold weather games like chicago, there's plays you see josh scrambling and if Gabe is across feild he gives up and stands there. And I know this is extremely common in the nfl, but not if you have josh allen or mahomes. They can do ridiculous things with their arms. Tyreek and kelce are masters at working back across feild to bail out mahomes. We see it 100 times from mahomes he bails, play breaks down, mahomes whips it side arm to kelce coming back across feild. It's really disheartening to see josh run for his life and see Gabe across feild just standing there. I'm not saying it's every single play but I see it alot and it sucks.
No question we need a #2 or the very minimum a reliable slot for josh.

WR is going to be tough this year, the FA market is rough, the draft class is ok. But I'd say finding solid starters at guard and RT can be done in FA if the money can be shifted around. Finding a FA WR2 and affording it will be very difficult, above average WRs are getting paid big money. There's alot of WR needy teams. Which tells me there will be some reaching in the draft.

Players line up behind the first down marker on nearly every play. White was 3 yards behind the marker. Chase was lined up 6 yards from it. White had to close 3 yards in the amount of time it took Burrow to catch the snap, throw to Chase, and for Chase to run forward 6 yards. White did so in plenty of time. (That’s a coaching win). White missed the tackle because Chase big-brothered him. That’s not a coaching failure. The Bengals players were bigger, faster, and stronger than the Bills players all day long. Some of that was due to being without Von and Hyde and White and Poyer being less than 100%, but in the end it was their Jimmies beating your Joes. No amount of firing the guy who presided over the number one and two scoring defenses the past two seasons would have changed that fact.
Agree to disagree, I see it differently and so do many other fans. But I agree bengals we're bigger and stronger all day. And no one is denying Fraziers success during the season. It's the fans like me that are tired of giving up over 30 points 2 years in a row and 27 this year when honestly it should have been way more, the Bengals were just burning clock end of the 3rd. Lots of fans don't see a path to a SB if your defense now has consistently given up over 30 to elite teams when it matters. Fraziers bend but don't break defense has been only breaking against elite qbs when it matters.

The Titans Are Shopping Henry

Agreed, paying older RBs at the end of their prime is never a good idea. Plus, as good as Henry is, he's not a great fit for this offense in my opinion. Not that he would be bad in buffalo but his skill set isn't what's missing in the bills offense.
