  1. Without a doubt it's Richardson depending on where he goes. The seahawks is the best scenario, comes in and sits a year and takes over an offensive scheme that made Geno Smith look excellent. If he goes to the commanders, panthers, Texans, and is asked to start and just go out there and be athletic and win games alone, he's going to flame out hard.

You just sit there and try and find fault with every move.

it’s a very good signing.  Period.  Nothing else to say.  We needed a power back to compliment cook and Hines and we signed one of the better power backs on the market that happened to be coming off his rookie contract, for under 2M.

    Stop making so much sense!

Not sure how anyone can fault this move at all. Are people just bitter we didn't massively overpay for Henry?

People hating this pick up must not want to help out josh Allen because Harris is elite in pass protection, I dont think many people understand just how important a reliable pass blocker is for the QB especially josh because he works through progessions. The bills passing game and running game improved for pennies with this signing and people will still complain.

  3. Only FA prediction I got right so far with the bills. Beane loves players that torch the bills, when healthy hes excellent in pass pro, solid down hill runner. Really it all comes down to health, if he can get on the feild and stay there it could be a home run for the bills.

What is the plan in Denver?  Just blow it all up?  The receivers weren't the problem.  When Russ didn't play, each of them had great games.

Not exactly sure what they are thinking. You want to prove that the russ trade wasn't a colossal failure and you trade away his weapons?

Why would you want to do this?

In order for Henry to be affective, he has to have the ball in his hands, which he won’

    He is old

    He is expensive

For the past 13 years the super bowl champions never paid big money for RBs, especially big money to old running backs. Paying RBs is not the move for a super bowl.

No idea why. We don’t run the rock with the backs we have now. Spend that money on a guard and WR

I'm guessing the bills are worried about the pass blocking abilities of their RB room. Right now they have all pass catchers and no short yardage bruiser that can pass block. Williams is a great short yardage bruiser and elite pass blocker, and not to mention the locker room attitude McD loves.

I'd prefer to not spend money at RB and draft a cheap bruising rookie. But going into a season with a huge question mark at pass blocking with cook, hines, and an unproven rookie is a dangerous gamble.

I’d prefer not to use a 1st rd pick on a RB- but this draft class changes things, especially when looking at our needs.

    Our biggest needs:

IOL-  RG is a huge hole- hopefully we move Bates back to LG.  C might be a need if they cut Morse.

WR- we need outside and slot help.  Maybe shakir steps up and takes one of them, but either way, we still need 1-2 more WRs

Could be added to the above list:

MLB-  if we let edmunds go.

S- if we let Poyer go and Hamlin is still a ?

RT-  I think it’s a big need but I don’t think Beane does.  Sadly, i think we’ll probably resign quess and roll with brown, quess and Doyle @ possible RT/swing.

RB- if we let motor (and maybe hines) go.

TE-  do we want to include a higher % of 12 personnel?  I love morris as a pass catcher but I think they want someone with better blocking. I hope we never see Sweeney in a bills uni again.

DL-  do we move on from Phillips and Lawson again?  Trade Ed?  Do we count on the 2nd rd bust bro DEs to improve?  When will Von be back?

    —————-

looking at the possible picks @ 27, there’s one OG that might be worth the pick (Torrance) but his skill set doesn’t really jive with what what Dorsey and Kromer do.  The other OGs aren’t viewed as 1st rd picks. Drafting an OT and moving some people around along the line might be our best option.

WR-  there look to be 3 1st rd worthy WRs - Johnston, Addison and JSN.  I don’t see any of the 3 being available when we pick.  The next 10 or so WRs are of the same tier (or very close to it.  Seems best to wait til rd 2-3 if we miss out on the top 3z

The other positions that we may have a need for aren’t premium positions-  MLB- S- RT- RB- TE.  If there were a close to elite prospect available at any of those positions, i would hope we’d draft the elite player over an IOL or WR with a 2nd rd grade.  Positional value definitely matters, but quality of player matters most imo.

Bijan is the only mlb, s, rt, rb, te that looks to be elite. Although Antonio johnson could also make some sense.  I think he’s a perfect fit.  He can do it all (except create turnovers.  (let’s not draft a S in rd 1 please)

    .

Agreed, personally if Robinson, njigba, Addison, and possibly Campbell (depending on what happens with Tremaine)are off the board I'm trading back and stacking OL picks and an upside RB with some meat on him.

Andre Dillard- former 1st rd pick, still young, didn’t play much since eagles have good line. Would be solid swing tackle and completion for brown. Won’t cost much

D’ontae Foreman- big back that can be a good duo with cook. 2-3 year deal around 3-3.5 per year

Nate Davis- young, rated higher than both powers and risner, projected around 7 million per year

Jarvis Landry- good slot receiver and physical blocker. Had down year due to injury and poor qb situation. WR coach from college is now Bills WR coach. Played for 1 year 3 million last year so something in the 2-3 million range.

Odell Beckham JR- give gabe competition, know the players on the team want him, reunite with prior coach and potentially Landry. I think something like 2 year 15 million plus incentives would get it done

Shaq Lawson- I bring him back on a cheap deal

Bobby Okeroke- young, productive can likely be had for reasonable price

I agree with all except obj. I don't like the injury concern with the amount of money he will probably want. I would like to replace Jarvis and obj with Robert woods. Woods knows josh and the offense.

I think Bijan Robinson is an even better player than Bryce Hall

One of the main reasons I've changed my stance on drafting an rb in the first. If it's Robinson I'm all about it. Because of what Hall did for the jets, and coming out of college Robinson is far and away the better RB in every level of the game and its not close. I highly doubt Robinson is at 27 for the bills, but if he is the bills should sprint to the podium. I wouldn't be surprised if as soon as Robinson, njigba,Addison are off the board the bills trade back.

Until KC or some team we have to face every year in the playoffs dose, then it’s Buffalo never does anything to move the needle, while everyone else is playing chess we’re playing checkers. Those kinds of comments….  I would love to have Henry… teams would have to play us different and our Wr would get a lot more 1/1 looks. And it would be nice to pound the ball in those bad weather games. And before someone comments just draft a big running back, guys like king Henry don’t grow on trees, dude is a special talent… I’m ready to win a Super Bowl!!! Getting Henry would definitely help.

Henry is a beast and would instantly improve the offense. But mentioning chess vs checkers, adding a big money RB is one of the worst moves a franchise can make for a superbowl. A really great tweet got put out and it showed that the past 13 super bowl champions spent minimal to nothing at RB. Patriots and chiefs are 2 great teams that have spent pennies at RB for their championship runs.

I'm all about adding talent to the bills offense and Henry instantly adds talent but according to the past 13 years it's not where great franchises spend precious resources.

Robinson is more than “ok”. He’s widely considered a top 5 player in the entire draft. That said…I don’t want to trade up for him either. If he falls to 27, then I’d be more than ok with it.

With saquon getting the franchise tag that made the possibility of Robinson falling to 27 much more likely. If saquon walked there was no way the giants don't take Robinson. But I'd still be very surprised if he makes it to 27, way too much talent.
