Injuries have caught up. Can't even stop a pop gun offense at this point.
No Milano and Oliver was an open wound today

Same play twice in a row. And mcd burned an effing TO for no reason

Why would mcd take a timeout there?!

I would have taken the penalty
Gives you 1 more play to burn clock as well, but mcd wanted that td, not worried about clock

Always liked Knox but the jump hasn't happened and It doesn't look like it will at this point. We all laughed at the patriots ridiculous TE contract they gave smith, but maybe we shouldn't have laughed...

Nothing good to say. Offense is a complete mess and it isn’t all Dorsey. They have two guys who can make a play - Diggs and Cook. Kincaid, so far, can make a catch now and again, but the rest of receivers are really incapable.
I know I'm a broken record, but how much more does davis have to show the bills FO that he's not a wr2. And he's never going to all of a sudden become one like they thought he would.

So you state Gabe Davis is a bad #2 WR and never will be then go on to say trade for Hunter Renfrow who has 6 catches for 59 yards. Be better than this dude!
Man I don't know if you read a word of what I said. I never said Gabe is bad, I'm saying he's not a number 2. That's just not his game, your asking the guy to do something thats not his skill set, he has proven the short to intermediate field is not a strength for him. He's great at getting behind safeties making perimeter catches that are back breaking chunk plays that deflate defenses. A great skill to have with a cannon arm qb.
Renfrow other than his poor stats this year because of a dumpster fire offense hes on(that adams is also trying to run from) has shown he is an excellent seperator at the line and excellent route runner, and knows how to manipulate and leverage defenders. Much like a young Beasley. And josh has shown the type of qb he is with a great slot. The addition of a great slot would only benefit Gabe giving him much better looks. When defenses get ate up in the short passing game, they bring up safeties and that's when Gabe is at his most dangerous.
-
I'll be the first broken record to comment, Gabe is not a #2. And never will be.
My opinion is Renfrow, it's risky because QBs and slots need time for chemistry and it would take a bit but josh has shown that he's possibly the best QB in the league when he had a great slot in Beasley. If we could get 3/4 out of Renfrew of what we got from Beasley I think its worth it. And the raiders want to move him.

WTF wad Miller doing on the field with the game on the line. He is completely useless at this point.
His rush lanes were bad tonight. Reminded me alot of last years loss to the jets. He was 10 yards deep on some rushes, leaves a freeway for the qb to slip through.

Gabe Davis is a problem. I won’t repeat what others have been saying for weeks now but your #2 cannot just disappear like that. I don’t care about how his bulk stats stack up, the inconsistency is a problem. Give me a boring but nearly guaranteed 6 catches for 54 yards Jarvis Landry style, Josh has no reliable outlet right now
I have my receipts from the beginning of the season, the bills will not win a SB with Davis as the #2. McD let's his heart get in the way leaving Davis as the #2, I dont care if Davis is the hardest worker on the face of the earth, hes a good to great wr3 and he has done nothing but show that in his career.

Bills usually lose that game. So I guess that's a positive. But the bills offensive rhythm... and the edge rush against practice squad tackles... my god.

Also, why did we pay Knox if Allen never throws to him?
Bills gambled on his freak athletic ability, alot like they did with josh. Hasn't paid off

Yeah but the same problem would exist if bringing a new WR. To me it's even worse as both the QB and the WR need to learn from each other and that takes time and practice which today's NFLPA rules doesn't allow for much of that. At this point in season, I'd think they'd be further ahead in making the fast ball, faster by using more Kincaid, Harty, Shakir, and Sherfield. If you're going for a big trade I'd rather see them go for a guy like a Surtan at CB
Surtain would be a dream landing but I wouldn't want to even imagine what it would take to trade for him. Cuz epenesa and a 1st wouldn't even bring the broncos to the table.

LOL I think the Bills have much bigger problems than WR2 right now. 3 weeks ago, maybe, now CB and LB are way ahead of a luxury pick.
Depends on how you look at the rest of the season for the bills.
Milano was so good and so important to the bills that's why I'd say wr2 is more important for this season.
There's such few, and maybe no LBs in the NFL that could be traded for, come in, learn the system and play like Milano.
CB is a need, but mcd has consistently shown he's comfortable with his in house guys, and they just spent capitol on Elam.
Now for the rest of the season I'd argue the path for the bills to win a SB with this many bad injuries on defense is for the fast ball to get faster, not to bandaid the defense. Davis has had a solid stat line this season, but his route tree is very limited, his bad drops continue, and he hasn't been a game changer since the chiefs playoff game. He feasts on defenses when they have to pay attention to diggs.
A true WR2 or WR1B that draws attention from diggs, Knox, Kincaid, davis, would open up alot of doors for Allen. If the bills could cause a shoot out with other elite teams, the bills still have elite pass rushers that can get home.
-
Only way I'd trade epenesa is if the bills FO is truly still all in on a SB this year. You can package him with a pick and get a premium WR2 then maybe. Other wise bills will need his depth and impact plays this year.

At least 3 of those 3rd downs were not converted because of dropped passes. What the hell was Allen supposed to do about that? And if they convert those it's 8 out of 12 conversions which is 67% and quite good.
Last year, Gabe had 2 massive drops that led to 2 close losses, and cost the #1 seed. Today was not solely on Gabe, but man it sucks to see another close game lost where Gabe had another big drop. There were a few costly drops today by other players. But I've had it with the Davis drops, it's more than an issue at this point.

He's not untouchable for sure
Tough to find a team willing to take on his contract for the production hes had on an elite offense.

Tough road here on out without Milano and tre. Still think the bills will be a fun team to watch this year but my super bowl aspirations are pretty dampened after today.
