  1. I have serious doubts that Edmunds will ever be very good. Some guys just never reach that point where the game slows down for them so we make excuses for them. Wake me up when Edmunds uses that 257 lb frame to lay some guy out. Also, I don't buy the theory that he can't hit because he's thinking. Hyde thinks AND hits hard. So can Edmunds chew gum and walk at the same time? Can he process what's going on fast enough? How much time do we give him to come around? How long can we afford to wait?
  2. Be well, Richie. You don't need to apologize to this Bills fan. I know you tried as best you could under difficult circumstances. Best of luck going forward.
  3. I'm guessing top 10, maybe top 5. Brady will put up points, but if we can run the ball and keep him under 28 points, we have a shot. His OL injuries are worse than ours. Time for Ed Oliver to have a breakout game. Harry Phillips will be missed. White and TJohnson/Neal need good games. Obviously Josh needs to eliminate all mental mistakes. Can he do that yet? They need to hold Edelman to 80 yards or less and 1 TD max.
  4. Don't give up on Darnold yet, OP. In the meantime, D Jones looks unbelievably good.
  5. I know that a Bills win would shock a lot of people. I don't expect it, but even if NE wins convincingly, I still think we're a wild card team. The schedule favors us. Too bad Singletary probably won't be able to go.
  6. He was playing at a high level. 1st major injury of the season. Hopefully the last.
  7. His accuracy was very good today when he had time except on the deep ball. He missed badly on those again. I'll take it, though. I'm happy he's hitting the underneath stuff finally. He still needs to eliminate mental mistakes, but he is making progress there. He really needs to start carrying a football around everywhere he goes.
  8. True, but the Bengal's DL was just waiting to break out. They have a lot of talent up front and it was bound to show up eventually.
  9. We need to replace Zay Jones with what KB was supposed to be -- a guy that's always open. Unfortunately, KB was closed.
  10. I think both of our rookie TE's will be very good for years to come.
  11. I think that's fair, but Cincinnati's defense is underrated. They haven't played well this year up to today, but they finally got it going. I expect to see more good games from them. The Bengals aren't great, but they aren't all bad either. It was another ugly win. I'll take that any day we line up to play. A couple letdowns by the D, but overall, they played another solid game.
  12. One other note that may help you someday, you can watch complete NFL games free on YouTube if you are overseas. I sometimes watch the games from Manila. Good to know if you're in the military. I don't recall how long it takes for them to become available or if all games are uploaded.
  13. Gamepass games were always available unless there is an NFL game underway anywhere (last year), I thought. Nice to know that's changed.
  14. The middle class went bye bye. Most people can't afford tix these days.
  15. 2 good, solid seasons in a row. Even Marc Wilson looked good when Bo Jackson was around because everybody left him alone. I'm not suggesting that JA's fate is necessarily tied to any one teammate, but he needs to string some wins against good teams, playoff teams to start. Do it all over again, unlike Dalton, Hostetler, etc. Guys that had a great year, then faded.
  16. Me too! I think both of them have a shot at being really good and they can block. Just go look at Knox blocking Ogletree last Sunday on the play where Ogletree got mad and threw him down. It reminded me of that scene in the movie The Blindside where Michael Ohler is penalized for "excessive blocking".
  17. I'm starting to like Cover 1. This is an excellent YouTube VIDEO. \
  18. Think you can guess which Bill made the list with a 90+ grade against the Giants? I bet you're wrong! Make a guess, then see for yourself. http://www.nfl.com/videos/pff/0ap3000001056072/PFF-90-Club-Highest-graded-players-Week-2
  19. I know he doesn't have sexy stats, but that's because QB's don't favor throwing it in his direction. His coverage has been great and he's been laying some serious hits on people. I gotta go with Micah Hyde. I love a S that punishes backs and receivers that challenge him. Hyde is playing with an attitude this season. I love it! Just 1 name per customer please.
  20. Ouch is right! In the meantime, I'm anxious to see how we do against a playoff team. The Bengals look awful right now, but I think they'll get better. Pats on their way. The Eagles and Cowboys will be especially tough. Cleveland, Houston and TN will also be tough tests, IMO. No. It's not good if the Pats keep on demolishing everyone in their path. They're gaining even more confidence even though they haven't beaten any playoff teams yet. That's never a good thing for the other teams.
  21. All this talk about not wanting Ramsey is a joke. Sounds like the same nonsense we heard about AB and now he'll be tearing it up with Brady. We must add players of this caliber even if they are a bit conceited. The coaches need to deal with that effectively. It's part of the job. The culture isn't about humility. It's about outworking the other teams. I bet if Ramsay could join up with Hyde, White and Poyer, he'd be happy as a clam, well behaved and helping us win even more. You DO want to win, right? It requires talent as well as commitment. We can negotiate a new contract with him like we did with Shady and ask him before pulling the trigger what it would take to sign him long term. White is solid. Ramsey is elite. The last team to win the AFCE other than NE was a team with great defense and the best CB in the league. Now that AB is a Pat, we need a guy like JR more than ever.
  22. I'd be both shocked and deliriously happy to get a player of his caliber at such an important position. That's especially true in the AFCE. I'm not holding my breath.
  23. -- Micah Hyde and Trent Murphy are off to a great start -- Devin Singletary and Isaah McKenzie are looking really good. -- Despite the continuing efforts to build a solid OL, we're already much better than 2018. -- Zay Jones was wide open on 2 of Allen's worst throws. He missed out on 2 big gains. -- Most Bills fans didn't want to admit how bad Allen truly was last year, but it's clear that both he and the rest of the offense have made strides. I look forward to seeing JA get even better. The accuracy still needs a lot of work, but it's also been the area where JA has improved the most. -- Levi Wallace will be replaced by an early pick in the next draft. Then you'll really start to see this D rock. -- Why no love for McDermott? He made some mistakes early on, but how many HC's are doing any better right now? (Besides BB). Both Coordinators too. -- So far our kicking game has been WAY better than our opponents. -- Dawson Knox just learned that when Josh Allen is throwing the ball into a tight window, you need to get your hands up a little quicker. It doesn't take long for the ball to arrive. -- JA may not be the most exciting news on O thus far. Brown and Singletary are giving him a run for his money. -- The place is gonna be rockin' when the Pats show up. -- Siran Neal has also been a pleasant surprise so far.
  24. Final score 23-3 Cleveland. Sorry. Low hanging fruit, as they say. When do youse guys play Miami? You might steal one from them. BTW How long do you think Gase will last?
