  1. No. Maybe DS and ZM haven't played their best, but why is the OL getting a free pass? Our OL is average at best. We can do better. The other consideration is on defense. If you want to sign a great player, make it a CB. Wallace is an average CB, but he's still an obvious target along with T Johnson. You put a possible probowl CB opposite Trae and other teams will really struggle against us. Either draft a CB or edge rusher and get the other in FA. Then focus on G, NT and TE. We are paying way too much for a very mediocre DL. We might be able to save some money there. Let Murphy walk and renegotiate with Lotulelei and Addison perhaps? I'm not against adding another RB if he has very good speed to compliment DS/ZM.
  2. I dunno Yolo. I think 13-3 looks pretty solid since the AFC is so competitive. I think the final game with Miami will still affect who we face in the playoffs, so it won't be sacrificed like the final game last year.
  3. This game might look a lot like the Pittsburgh game. I expect a relatively low scoring game with the Bills winning by 9-12 points. Denver has better RB's, but Lock is no match for Allen. They have some outstanding young receivers too, but they are still no match for Diggs, Beasley and Brown. The kicking game may figure in prominently. Be ready, Tyler.
  4. Hopefully we can keep all 3, but Feliciano wouldn't be too hard to replace. I could see us drafting a IOL on day 2. Then again, Feliciano probably won't cost very much.
  5. If the Steelers weren't so banged up, then yes. Not to worry though. That biggest win in a while is coming in January.
  6. Just play whoever looks better in practice. As far as the CB position is concerned, we need to upgrade 1 outside spot (Wallace, Norman) and the slot (Johnson, Neal). I'm beginning to warm up to the idea of taking an outside CB in the 1st if there's good value there.
  7. I agree on Murphy and Norman. Kroft and Feliciano are fine as backups. I hope we keep Williams and sign/draft a G to push Ford. I don't much care if Lotulelei comes back or not. He is costing us way more than he's worth.
  8. I doubt it. Bad move to let a quality WR go. If Knox continues to struggle, I can see us playing a lot of 4 WR sets in '21.
  9. I don't think this is so far off. Josh has come such a long way, but he simply MUST get his fumblitis under control. He's getting better, but he can do even better still. I'd like his INT% to come down a bit too. We'll see. I think he will. He continues to improve and I think this remains his last big challenge.
  10. I think that was Josh's best game to date. He passed very well, didn't run much and so he didn't fumble. Fumblitis is Josh's last big hurdle to overcome. The inaccuracy and slow mental processing are relics of his past. This team is 3 or 4 very solid players away from being as good as any team in the league (TE, CB, Edge, DT or G).
  11. The owners can afford it. They're nearly all billionaires and billionaires are making a killing these days.
  12. If the Bills have a deep staff of accomplished evaluators at the college & pro level, why did they draft Edmunds, Oliver and Ford so high? Beane has done both good and bad moves as GM. The jury is still out IMO.
  13. No. Daboll is good, but he's not the only good OC out there. On the other hand, a bad OC affects the whole offense.
  14. No. Klein is too slow. He'll have a good game once in a while, but let's not get ahead of ourselves.
  15. 1. OL (LG and RG. We need 1 more dominant O Lineman and continued improvement across the OL would really unlock this offense). 2a. TE (Knox has been a bit of a snore in 2020. A really good TE would fill a big hole and allow Allen to take another step in his development.) 2b. CB (There's a big dropoff in talent at CB after TW. We need to keep looking for an upgrade at CB#2 and in the slot.) 3. NT (run stuffer, block eater and pocket pusher. Teams with strong OL's can push our front 7 around too easily.) 4. Edge/OLB (An elite pass rusher would make the entire secondary better.) As far as order goes, it's a virtual tie anyways.Upgrading at any of these positions would be a big boost to our chances of winning.
  16. He was decent for the Colts last year, but nothing special. Still, he could well be the 2nd best CB on our roster if he fits the scheme. I want a couple very good corners added to our roster (to replace Wallace and T Johnson) and an elite pass rusher or 2.
  17. That RDE position is so important now. He'll be too old to give us a competitive advantage when his contract runs out. He has made some plays this year, but we need to be very strong at DE and CB especially. We have a lot of so-so DE's on our roster and no really good ones.
  18. What FA TE's might be available? I want one of those too. I love the idea of all D draft. Go for a pair of CB's in rounds 1-3 and grab a great edge rusher or NT or LB.
  19. I'm not of the impression that Feliciano is anything other than average. Daryl Williams just made someone's all-pro team at the midpoint of this season. At least they are both experienced. Signing Williams to an extension should be a top priority. We need to draft or trade for a better pair of starting G's. I'd like Feliciano to backup at C and G, but I don't want to pay depth $7 mill/yr. We can find better starters. When will Morse be back?
  20. When the dust settles on the Bills for the 2020 season, I think Allen will be regarded as top 8. I'm not sure the Winter weather in Buffalo will help his cause as much as a staunch OL and ground game. He stumbled a bit, but had a great bounce-back game against Seattle. How he performs in the playoffs will probably be a determining factor in how he is viewed around the country. Josh needs to reign in the fumbles and win in the playoffs with solid passing performances. How can you continue to hate him if he takes us to the promised land?
  21. Good on Poyer! A lot of guys sign a new long term contract and hit the snooze button (like Darius). Poyer has found another level instead. I agree with others that he's having the best season of anyone on our defense so far. I see Daryl Williams also made PFF's all pro team. Keep both of these guys under contract, please.
  22. Darryl Lamonica -- Because he should have been the starter. We might have won SB 1 if we'd kept him and let Kemp go.
  23. YAY !!!! Resign him quickly and save $$$!!! Then draft a G on day 2 or sign an upgrade and trade Ford while you still can. RT DARYL WILLIAMS, BUFFALO BILLS Second Team: Ryan Ramczyk, New Orleans Saints The gap between the best left tackles and the best right tackles in the league in 2020 has been huge. You could name seven or eight left tackles who have outperformed the best on the right side, particularly with Mitchell Schwartz missing time, but Buffalo’s Daryl Williams is back to near his best play this season. Williams has a PFF grade of at least 77.0 as both a pass blocker and a run blocker, and that elevates him over the other right tackles who are clustered around with similar overall grades.
  24. Bills 27 Cardinals 24 ...a nail-biter to the end with good play by both teams on O and D.
  25. Klein isn't much of a physical specimen for an NFL LB, but he's always had good instincts and awareness.
