  1. Well deserved. Just don't pull a Fitz on us, OK?
  2. We'll know a lot more about this team after these next 3 games. I'm waiting to see how we play against the Titans and Chiefs especially before I feel confident about us.
  3. CB or DT. I'd say DE, but we still have Addison, Epenesa and Hughes.. I'd like to see this defense able to stop the run for a change. Last year we were 12th and that's the highest we've been for a while. This year we may be ranked higher, but we are obviously struggling there. I also think OL is a likely option if there's someone the like for the value. Building in the trenches works for me because we're just average across the board on both sides of the ball (pretty much). On the other hand, if Norman doesn't play well, we really need 2 upgrades at CB -- 1 outside and 1 in the slot. Oh and TE is also an option.
  4. We HAVE to find a way to contain Henry. We can't let him control the game.
  5. If we win our next 3 games, they may have to finally come to terms with our winning. Still, it's unbelievable that Josh's accuracy numbers on the short and medium ranges haven't gone up even 1 point! They did give him a big 6 point boost to trucking after he bulldozed a LB and a DL in Miami at least. I wonder if they actually watch Allen for the whole game when they do his ratings. And what those ratings should be.
  6. I seriously doubt anyone could have forseen a 12% jump in completion% from year 2 to year 3. I've been watching football for 60 years and I've never seen a QB do that before. What Josh is doing now is unique, not his numbers but the improvement.
  7. They're the Traitors, npot the Raiders. They betrayed their fans twice in Oakland and once in LA.
  8. I'm not surprised and I've always liked Fitz. Here's just 1 more reason.
  9. I've been convinced that Josh is a franchise QB this year, but I also think his best days are still ahead.Cut the fumbles back to single digits for the season and he's nailed it.
  10. 100% accurate. Now he just needs to clean up the fumbles. I get that QB's will fumble when they are looking to throw, but there's no reason for so many after he pulls it down. They're also right about his progression. He took a way bigger step this year than last. In any case, if we can get the defense clicking again, watch out. Josh has carried this team on his back so far.
  11. Just let it go already. He's there for his on field accomplishments which are 2nd to none. He was always a jerk.
  12. Bills pass defense gets back on track in a surprisingly low scoring game. 20-10 Bills
  13. I guess I'm not the only one that thinks McDermott should start calling the plays for our defense. Chan seemed to know what our defense was going to do more often than not and Frazier fared no better against LA. We'd better get that sorted out quickly. Our DT's aren't helping much either. Oliver has only 6 tackles so far. He can't do it alone and our offseason FA acquisitions don't impress me.
  14. I don't know that this is a real problem. I think maybe playcalling is suspect and the DL just isn't getting it done these last 2 games.
  15. Most of those missed blocks were attempted on Donald. I believe it when people say he's the best defensive player in the NFL. I think he may be the best on either side of the ball. Bottom line is that we ran well and the rest of the Rams DL weren't very effective. In the first 2 games, we didn't run well and the protection was so-so. Our DL is struggling even more despite all those FA signings. We need to be more aggressive about building in the trenches or that will become our achilles heel. We may get pushed around by more physical teams. How many times can Josh and our WR's bail us out?
  16. Has anyone seen any specific information about Williams? I am surprised he has recovered to the point of starting at RT again. I suppose the fact that we're not hearing his name is a good thing. He did have 1 penalty, but if he can play like he did pre-injury that would be an enormous boost for us.
  17. How is "[Vague Title]" less vague than whatever was there originally? Why this obsession?
  18. Balance has always been a big plus. It helps keep defenses guessing. When you become two dimensional, you're harder to stop because you're more likely to attack weaker areas of the designed defense.
  19. According to that ESPN power poll, the Rams moved up 6 places and the Bills moved down 3. Who won yesterday? Am I missing something?
  20. Wilson may be a slight favorite for MVP in the early going, but forget their numbers. Allen lead an impossible TD drive with little time remaining. That counts as a huge plus in my book. He got my vote.
  21. I can't suppress a slight laugh every time I see Beasley in the huddle. He looks like a little kid standing amongst all those big guys.
  22. I do think the Cowboys have the talent to bounce back especially since they get to play the rest of the NFCE teams twice. I don't get Philly, though. How are they not playing much better? Maybe Washington will be the team to watch after another draft or 2.
  23. I am not in a position to say, but does this mean Spain's performance is slipping or Ford is getting better? D Williams seems to be playing better. That's GREAT news.
