I share your concern for Butler and Phillips. I remember when mock drafts had Phillips going to us in round 1. I'll wager that we draft Star's replacement the year his contract runs out. I think Vita Vea is the best 1-Tech right now. Pass rush and OL seem like the 2 best investments for increasing our chances of winning a SB. Then CB.

I'm thinking it would be nice to have another season to be sure, but Josh played so well that I'm anxious to see a deal done to keep him in Buffalo until he retires. A great edge rusher would have a lot of impact and we would all like that CB2 situation to stop biting us from behind. We have no trouble finding WR's, after all. Get another very good outside CB already. Give us a probowler on the OL and the DL. Games can still be won and lost in trenches. I doubt we get all that, but if we nail 3 of 'em we're in great shape. Even 2 would be great. I hope some of the answers are already in place like Ford, D Jackson and Epinesa. This coming season one of those guys might be our consensus Most Improved Player and just take wing like Josh Allen did last year.

Clowney signs for 1 year and McDermott gets him to buy into the culture and excellent coaching.
