  1. Basham and Brown are exceeding expectations also. This is starting to look like Beane's best draft to date. Heck ya!
  2. You ARE aware that we play the defending SB champs on the road, right? We should be more worried about the Jets?
  3. I live in Fort Wotth and we just got hit by the same storm front. It only lasted about 15 minutes.
  4. He may never get to a probowl, but he does make a great play now and again. Good signing.
  5. I wish someone would do a more realistic football simulation game where you could call plays and let the computer execute & display them. The best NFL game by far is the Strat-O-Matic board game IMO. Their MLB, NHL & NBA board games are excellent too. You can order them online. Very absorbing and fun. Don't forget to include pretzels and beer.
  6. White and Knox. I also hope one of our young DE's has a big game. We really need at least one of them to start making big plays on the regular if we're going to be able to make it to the top. If we give Mahomes all day to stand in the pocket, he'll shred us. Blitzing can help, but it takes guys out of coverage. I'm hoping Taron Johnson plays well too. Maybe Jerry Hughes has another big game up his sleeve? Oh and Singletary. It would really help a lot if he could keep the KC defense honest as well as providing a few big plays like he has been.
  7. I didn't notice him at all. He wasn't on the injury report. He hasn't been much of a factor. Any cause for concern?
  8. He has looked noticeably better. He's a big part of our improved run defense. Today wa his best game in a long while.
  9. I really hope they just held him out as a precaution. We're going to need him for the tough games coming up.
  10. Knox has been a revelation. Let's hope Spencer Brown follows suit.
  11. Throws flag. Too many game balls. Then again, it was a slaughter.
  12. Two things are obvious. The coaches have lost faith in Cody Ford and like many of us, they think Williams' future is at G. Brown looked good today, but it was only 1 game. Hopefully he'll be great. I'm still not sold on Boettger, but as depth, he's fine.
  13. Shady was a class act. Never a discouraging word all through the rebuild and the worst season of his career followed by his release on the eve of a playoff season. I wish him well.
  14. Josh should not have thrown that last pass. He got away with one there. I want 5 TD tosses for him today.
  15. #50 has been solid in run support. Good job setting the edge.
  16. They're looking for Singletary, but Moss is not getting much attention from the defense. We're taking advantage of that. Take what the defense gives you.
  17. Singletary is getting 6.4 yards per rushing attempt. Josh's efficiency rating is 77.9. Obviously we need to run the ball more -- at least until Josh gets his mojo back. That's on Daboll. Also, Peyton is right about being patient and taking what the defense gives you. I don't care what they've done so far. Both Allen and the WFT defense are legit and they'll show it before long before this season ends.
  18. Kinda bummed for Fitz and Tyrod though. Great guys that you love to cheer for when they play well unless you're just a jerk. Here's hoping they're back up 'n at 'em soon.
  19. Obviously another bad game will raise concerns, but I don't know how a player can regress this far unless he doesn't care (ie- Dareus) or he gets injured. He looked good in camp too against what's obviously a good defense. I think he'll turn this around, but in the mean time, his haters at PFF, EA Sports and that weird looking, nerdy guy with the taxi door ears on TV that's always crapping on him.
  20. Another elite front 4. I hope Daboll doesn't plan on having Allen throw the ball all day long. Too bad Fitz isn't playing though. I wish him a speedy recovery.
  21. I know 2 games aren't conclusive, but this list is sure to include some unexpected entries. My list: 1. Matt Milano 2. Taron Johnson 3. Devin Singletary 4. Dawson Knox
