  1. No one said it was a high ankle sprain so I'm hoping for the best. In any case, I am anxious to see EO have a big breakout season. Injury bug go visit the some other team!
  2. "He doesn't adhere to the timing." = "He's great at improvising." The only remotely accurate part is about his accuracy which has improved at anheard of clip and he continues to work on it as he did this past offseason.
  3. This is not the least bit surprising since teams run more when ahead. People tend to forget that the best option for winning is to exercise your greatest advantages over your opponent, assuming game conditions favor that approach. The rules were changed to open up offenses, so more passing, but if you have D Henry at RB and your offense isn't centered around Henry, you're an idiot. Besides, I think the game has lost a good balance between run and pass and is slightly less interesting because of it.
  4. Epenesa isn't going anywhere. He'll be our 1st DE off the bench. He's had a good camp and preseason so far. Beane doesn't know what deals he might make yet. Often, deals happen very quickly.
  5. They dropped Milano from 83 to 81. Also, Allen's Carrying rating is a paltry 57 so he fumbles all the time. The OL is weak too. Spencer Brown is an absolute turnstile (68). Bates is a liability too (71). Morse is only a 79 and Saffold dropped 82 --> 80. Dawkins is 83. Quessenberry is below average too (73).
  6. If your real concern is for those that think they are above the law, why isn't about the billionaire owners. Heck. They make the laws and the loopholes to get around them.
  7. Maybe some veteran to compete for an OL job.
  8. Dawson won the Superbowl just hours after his father died.
  9. If Davis (or Diggs) goes down for a couple games, who starts in his place?
  10. Bates is a backup-caliber player. He could easily be replaced. The same is true of Spencer Brown. They are both young and might be good some day, but they aren't there yet.
  11. If you are considering investing in cryptocurrency, DON'T. It's a ponzi scheme. The people at the top get a percentage of your investment and you get squat unless you can find enough suckers to offset your loss. Just say "No thanks." and keep your hard earned cash.
  12. I hope they fixed his fumbling issue by raising his carrying (CAR) rating from 57 and letting him get out of bounds or slide more. I know he had a ton of fumbles in his first 2 1/2 seasons, but he's been much better lately. That was his biggest problem. They also gave him a ridiculously low Awareness(AWR) rating of 79. That needs to come way up too, but mostly the CAR rating is just insane.
  13. We have nothing but warm bodies at RG and RT. This changes nothing.
  14. I'll go along with Ruben Brown. I'd add Kyle Williams and Jason Peters. There are others like Moulds, Fred and Lynch that would be great adds, but given the current roster, these 3 would be the biggest help right now because of the relative strengths and weaknesses. I think Brown would be fine at either G spot and we'd be fine with either combination at OT. I'll take London Fletcher over Edmunds too. Oh and let's add Pat Williams and Mario Williams so we can be the Buffalo Williams again.
  15. He had some great moments in his career. I think the HOF chatter is absolute nonsense as was the suggestion of putting Kyle Orton on the WOF. Fitz is smart. I could well imagine him as a future coach, GM or as a sports commentator. I once heard him say he wanted to be a portfolio manager on Wall Street, but that would sully his good reputation. ...and Kyle, right?
  16. The right side of our OL is VERY weak (Brown, Bates, Ford, Quessenberry, Boettger, Hart, Doyle, Ulmer, Mancz, Capra, Karstatter, Owen, Tanuta, Anderson). There isn't anyone solid in that group. Brown may be the best among them, but PFF gave him the 6th lowest pass protection grade among OT's with 600+ snaps last year and his run blocking wasn't much better. I think that if Morse, Saffold or Morse gets hurt, our offensive production goes way down. Kromer really has his work cut out for him. After that, depth at CB, LB and WR are concerns, but not anywhere close to our OL problems.
  17. How are we rated that high? Quessenberry is another Ty Nsehke. Brown and Bates would be backups on most rosters. Morse is a slice above average and both Saffold and Dawkins one more slice above that. All that considered, our OL is pretty average. This evaluation seems quite biased. There were times last season when our RB's had no holes to run through, albeit with injuries. Allen was pressured more times than any other QB (185) and he was hurried way more than any other QB -- 95 times vs 76 for Hurts who was #2. The only significant upgrade was at LG and the RG position is even weaker than last year.
  18. She should be a Madden rater. I'm sure she could do a better job than the current crew.
  19. Will the Texans have the oldest DE's in the NFL with Addison and Hughes? I bet they're close.
  20. Best of luck Jerry. You'll be missed.
  21. I think we never saw Dareus' full potential. I've wondered if he could have been the best player in the NFL at any position if he'd been driven to be the best. It's a sad story for sure.
  22. I don't think we can afford Bradberry. Besides, if Elam starts, where do we put Bradberry when White returns? Bradberry is a very good starter, but I think any extra cap space should be spent on the OL.
  23. If we could resign D Williams, that would help a lot. He's pretty average, but substantially better than any other G on the roster besides Saffold. I'm not sold on Brown by a long shot, but I do think he has potential. The question is, how soon will Brown start playing at starter level. Hopefully that will happen this Summer.
  24. I'm going with Spencer Brown. He's clearly the weakest link in the chain. Josh Allen needs him to protect much better. His run blocking needs almost as much work too.
