  1. They make DVR's for broadcast, but AFAIK you are SOL if you want to record something from one of the Roku Apps.
  2. Ford has begun using exoskeletons for floor workers. I find this to be really cool while at the same time wondering how much longer it will be until we are living in a bad Terminator or Robocop sequel.
  3. Prior to realizing I could use my birthright to obtain Sunday Ticket, I had good luck finding streams here: https://www.reddit.com/r/nflstreams/
  4. I cut the cord on Directv and Sunday Ticket about 4 years ago. When Directv refused my annual request to discount Sunday Ticket or I was bailing. Went aerial for local digital channels. Was not trivial, I live about 25 miles from the transmitters, in driftless area of Wisconsin, and in a valley to boot. Ended up with what looks like a radio tower on its side in my attic. Works great though. Survived that way for a couple of years with Amazon Prime and Netflix on a crappy 3mb DSL line which was the best available at the time. Again not trivial, I have three kids but thankfully I am a network engineer and between bandwidth caps and QOS we survived. About 2 years ago my broadband provider (only one available outside of satellite) was able to give me 6mb down at which point I got on the Roku train. Both were godsends. The cherry on top was adding my old mans Directv login into the mix. He is 80 years old, does next to nothing on the internet, and has a Directv's cadillac plan with Sunday ticket. Using his Directv credentials along with all of the various Roku apps (i.e. HBO GO, NFL Sunday Ticket, etc...), I have essentially arrived back at what I had 4 years ago for a fraction of the cost. Bandwidth is still a challenge but not really for me, kids gripe about it all the time.
  5. Don't even ask me where I stumbled onto this... It is a long story in and of itself. http://deadhitsports.com/nfl/2018-nfl-draft/ I think the premise of the article is on the level with pigs flying or hell freezing over. At this point I feel it is highly unlikely that Cleveland takes anyone other than Barkley 1st. With a minimum of 32 variables, I suppose anything is possible. Any of you ever hear of Deadhit Sports or the author D.S. Williamson? Agree or disagree with his outlandish take?
  6. Riiight. Okay Einstein... Mike White is a 2nd round pick in just about everyone's book. If there were any doubts, his Senior Bowl and Combine performances erased them. If that still is not enough for someone as deluded as you, there is the interview with Mayock where he breaks down the progessions of his favorite play. Mayock was effusive in his praise on the answer. I wonder why someone with the skills you proclaim to have is not in Indianapolis right now working for an NFL team? Here's why---because you only THINK you know what you are doing. You have an inflated self worth, or you just like to talk big on the internet when in reality this is probably a much better indication of what you are actually up to:
  7. You posted back at me Sally. I don't have time to banter with tools.
  8. So I quoted the wrong post. You are the one with lazy correlations. I think you need to skip the correlations ace. You suck at it.
  9. I do. Still a lazy statement. Thats like saying Allen is another Ryan Leaf. You never hear that crap uttered about white qb's.
  10. This is such a lazy statement. No he is not another Vick. There was one Michael Vick. Damn good quarterback who let his personal life kill any chance of sustained NFL success. Well that and playing for/in Atlanta By all accounts Jackson seems to have some character to him.
  11. Your grades! 1. If you totally disregard the sieve that is the rest of our team. 2. What? This is like saying my kid that won't clean his room just has not worked out for me. I took a shot and it did not work out. Maybe I should go out and impregnate a hooker to see if it can reverse the metaphysical bust that is my child. 3. The only sane thing you said is staying at 21. No way in hell Allen falls this far, but if he does you can damn sure bet on Beane pulling that trigger.
  12. Listening to Mayock today, he said he has great arm strength. He brought up scheme being a big question mark for him. He also mentioned the Big 12 Defense issue (Which I have brought up before too, Rudolph has not been one of the guys I wanted) Mayock said just go look at the Texas game. Oklahoma, Oklahoma St and USC all played them and Texas's defense was pretty solid. I have not watched them but I intend to. The skinny of it is he is most likely going to be Drafttek's breakdown on him is pretty spot on from what I have seen.
  13. These crazy ass trade ideas, I need some of what you guys are smoking. Seriously, puff puff give. Mayfield is going to be a good Quarterback, of that I am somewhat certain. However when he is described as cocky to a fault, that is not a player I see the current front office bringing on board. I do not have a problem with this. Personally I am not making a trade up for any of these guys. I am going to draft one at 21 or I will trade 22 back to where I am comfortable I can still get the guy I have targeted. And I do think Cleveland is going to take Barkley at 1.
  14. Because we don't. Look no further than the 2012 draft. Where were Foles, Wilson, and Cousins drafted in relation to Luck, Griffin, Tannehill, Weeden, Osweiler, How about Garropolo and Carr in 2014? All of these so called top six guys have different problems. None are worth spending extra picks to move up and get. We can get a franchise guy at 21 easily.
  15. What? Cmp Att Pct Yds Y/A AY/A TD Int Rate Taylor 495 865 57.2 7017 8.1 8.1 44 20 137.5 Jackson 619 1086 57 9043 8.3 8.5 69 27 142.9 Pretty similar from a completion, avg yards, and rating perspective. Jackson had more completions and attempts, had a way better TD:INT ratio and a marginally better rating. Then when you consider it took Taylor 4 years to compile those stats and Jackson has played 3, and won a friggin' Heisman. Your statement makes even less sense.
  16. It seems like we have some posters around here of late that must be smoking some really good ****. I mean like next level ****.
  17. Ah. I see that now. Think I was several beers in when I posted that.
  18. Not really true Yolo. At Wisconsin he played left guard, left tackle, center and even a little fullback. At Middleton High School he played all over the line for 4 years. He has had success starting at all of the offensive line positions.
  19. This is pretty epic stuff. Fancy yourself an internet tough guy? Be careful... Why? Please spare everyone your rooster impressions. The strutting around and squawking is almost as weak as Gugny starting the whole mess by calling Stank a "manchild" -- Gugny is a pretty successful **** stirrer in case you have missed that. Talk about using the internet to inflate ones stature, it appears you have the market cornered. Carry on Nancy.
  20. If this front office drafts a qb at 22, they all should be burnt at the stake. Its the equivalent of drafting a kicker that cannot kick in the first round.
  21. This would be more than acceptable.
  22. Dont hire topless dancers to replace the Jills.
  23. I think both will trade back to the highest bidder. There will be some bat-poop crazy deals thrown at both knowing Cleveland is going to take a QB at 4. I am fairly certain both teams would take Barkley if he is there, if he is gone it is going to get silly.
