Best players comparatively at their position
RobH063 replied to Mango's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Sadly out of this group of players the Bills had TO for one year when his play was declining and Peters for 5 years before his play peaked. -
Matt Harmon: Best Tight-Window Passers of 2017
RobH063 replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The guy lined up behind the guard ready to take the snap! THE GUARD!!!! He didn't even know where he was on the field. How is he supposed to know where to throw the ball or when to throw the ball or IF he should throw the ball if he has no clue where he's supposed to be. -

My interpretive skills are just fine. For instance, I can interpret perfectly why so many on here have issue with you -

Are you saying I'm not allowed to have a view of my own and can only nod my head and agree to what you say on here? -
Matt Harmon: Best Tight-Window Passers of 2017

"interwebs" Really? We're expected to take anything this Matt Harmon guy says seriously when he uses the word "interwebs". A made up word by some 14 year old? Taylor is a frickin train wreck! Bills fans are so used to having 2nd string QB's as starters for the past 20 years that they gobble up any garbage someone says about a Bills QB that isn't a slam on him. Then those fans think the Bills have the answer at QB. "Tyrod Taylor isn't a bad QB, see? Matt Harmon says so!" Bills fans are so desperate to not have all of America crap on their team that they'll buy anything someone says that's positive about a player and then think the Bills can win a championship with what they already have. Bills fans shouldn't justify mediocrity unless you honestly think making the playoff's with a 9-7 record that required help from another team making a play on the very last play of the game, means the Bills had a good year. I got news for you. The Bills didn't have a good year. They had a lucky year and backed into the playoff's. Am I happy the drought is over? Sure I am but lets not think it was anything to write home about. The Bills are building a team. They aren't good yet. There's lots of improvement to be made. The QB is one of those improvements that needs to be made. Same thing is true of the Bills in general. Fans scour the Internet looking for any positive article to counter all the bad press the Bills get. You will never see many positive reports about the Bills until they put a good winning team on the field on a consistent basis. -
First rule of thumb in today's America. Assume everyone is a Powder Puff Snow Flake and each day go up to them and say you're sorry and that you understand how they feel. Then cue up the following song. It will help prevent you from being arrested or sued.

3 team trade Skins, 49ers, Bills, we get Jimmy G
RobH063 replied to 17 Josh Allen's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Nothing new on Facebook about this but I was just reading on The FacePlace that the Bills are willing to give up both 1st round picks in this 3 team trade because there's also a blockbuster trade happening that is just now being reported. It involves the Bills and 31 other NFL teams all trading players and picks. In the end, the Bills wind up with the first 17 picks in this years draft AND Jimmy G. Beane is on Fire!!!! -

Why Do you Love the Buffalo Bills?
RobH063 replied to Buffalo716's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I fell in love with the Buffalo Bills when I was 13 years old. I had gotten one of those seat cushions with the Bills logo on it for my birthday. They were about 15" square, 1" thick and had a vinyl cover. Well, I discovered that if you folded it in half and added some lotion....Well, you get the idea. Anyway, I've been in love with the Bills ever since. -
No one really knows what the "Process" is with McDermott. I leave Beane out of this because we started hearing about the "Process" before Beane got to Buffalo. We think we know based on what kind of players have been brought in and who was shown the door. We think we know based on the type of discipline we've all seen on the field. We think we know because we haven't seen the off the field craziness like in previous years. But it's too early to really have a handle on what the "Process" is. Also, do they ever abandon part of the "Process" because maybe one or two things in their minds that can take the team over the top is out there and available but doesn't fit the overall vision of the "Process"? Are they willing to let some things happen while others they are more ridgid on based on the teams needs? We'll never know the answer to that for sure or if the "Process" has been completed. Not even if the Bills win a Superbowl one day with this staff. Personally, I don't think it's Black and White and a Written in Stone thing. I think it's much more fluid with a few base fundamentals that McDermott believes in with everything he has and the rest can be tweaked if he needs to to get the best results in any given season.

My thoughts are to me the second kiss was a little long. But that's just me. I really have no problem with what happened in that video because others were present, then the video was put online for the world to see so it's obviously not a creepy thing to any of them. My son and I kissed and hugged every day when he was growing up but it was the little peck type of kisses. Like the first kiss Brady's son gave him. It was just normal affection between Father and Son and no big deal to any of them.

What would it (realistically) take to get Alex Smith?
RobH063 replied to NickelCity's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The first thing it would take is the knowledge that KC is interested in moving on from Alex Smith. It's just all speculation at this point. You have a Pro Bowl QB that has had the best year of his career statistically speaking and you have Mahomes that has played well in one game. No one can say for sure Smith could even be traded for. -
No offense to the OP. Nothing wrong with what he would like to see happen and his post is well thought out but shouldn't all threads like this one start with "I hope the Bills can do something like this", or "I fantasize the Bills can do this", or "In my dreams the Bills did this" etc. Nothing can happen without a willing partner and although it seems likely that Washington will release Cousins, until they do, this can't happen. The Bills also can't trade up, trade down or sign any other QB in free agency until there are free agents to sign. So you can come up with all sorts of scenarios about how you can get done what you want to see, but right now, none of it can happen. Cousins could sign a long term deal with Washington at the 11th hour, there may be no willing trade partner up or down and there may not be any free agents available that the Bills want. All of those things could happen too.

Bills still making Bad Contract decisions

long term degenerative conditions doesn't mean the guy and the Bills new about it before now. -
Bills still making Bad Contract decisions
RobH063 replied to MAJBobby's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think you're making an assumption here. No one knows what past exit physicals revealed or didn't reveal. It's just as likely that Wood had no pain and no complaints regarding his neck in prior years. The Bills Doctors aren't going to do a complete body scan and MRI if the guy said he felt fine. So then this year, maybe he says, "Ya know Doc, my neck has been sore for weeks" and they do an MRI and discover the condition. So they negotiate a contract extension based on that. That scenario is just as likely. Your contract terms are valid though. The Bills have often made head scratching deals. -
But it is Rocket Surgeon right? I've been people that all week

Beane wasn't even with the Bills during the draft so how is he responsible for not reaching out to "QB-Destitute Houston"? Beane also wasn't responsible for not picking up Watkins 5th year option. That was announced on May 2nd and Beane got to Buffalo on May 9th. Whaley did a nice job finding cast offs from other teams to plug in when players got hurt and he is a good college scout but he didn't do that great of a job drafting and he was not a be-all-end-all GM like you're insinuating he was. Hell, if he was still in Buffalo and had his way, EJ Manual would still be the starting QB and we'd be at 18 years and still counting!

Source: Major Bills news coming next week

This site has turned into a joke. Dunkirk Don, aka Chawick Bay Chad aka Dunkirk Donna, Savior Peterman. -
I think agents of those type of quarterbacks may want to rethink how long their clients contracts should be. If they come out of college and they aren't being considered the next coming of TB, they should sign a 3 year deal at most. That way if they become the 3rd stringer for whatever reason, they're still young when they become a free agent. Lets say a QB blossoms in year 5. So he gets through the 3 year contract, then signs a 2 year contract. Then blossoms. Now he's in line to get a hefty pay day where otherwise he could be under contract for a lot less money and the starter.

Mason Rudolph has tiny hands
RobH063 replied to Buffalo_Stampede's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
My hand size is 9 5/8". Only Josh Allen and Tanner Lee have hands that are bigger than mine in that list. If the Bills don't like either of those guys or Kurt Benkert or Kyle Lauletta whose hand size is equal to mine, I'm available. At 56 years of age, and my football experience equaling 1 year of JV football, 3 years of High school football and 4 years of local flag football after High School, I'm surely a better option than all the rest. My hands are bigger than theirs. I played split end and linebacker in High school and just about every position in flag football so I should be able to handle being an NFL QB. After all, it's all about hand size! -
When I say Beane, I say the GM. When I mean McDermott, I say the Head Coach. When I mean the guy making personnel decisions for the Buffalo Bills, I adapt to the clarity on who has the final call and I say Beamott.

Congrats officials on another Super Bowl berth.....
RobH063 replied to cba fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Ratings! which equates to $$$$$$ All Pats fans watch expecting a Pats victory. The rest of the free world watches hoping they get beat bad. Makes for great ratings! For every person saying they won't watch the game because the Patriots are in it again, there's 20 that normally don't watch the Superbowl who will now, hoping that they lose. -
