  1. Meh. We clearly didn't want him. The trade was harmless. Not choosing to take Worthy could be seen as a mistake, if you feel strongly about that. The issue would be player evaluation and strategy, not the trade. Anyway, I'm not convinced Worthy is some missing link. Let's see how his career pans out the next few years.
  2. Don't trade with your rivals. That's my take. The draft trade was rather harmless, but I think you just shouldn't do it.
  3. It means the difference between the best and the worst is not that significant as far as those things are concerned.
  4. I wouldn't mind that. He is a good player.
  5. I could look it up, but I really don't care to. I don't want him to make that much. Whatever percentage it is, I want it to be smaller.
  6. Yeah, I don't want that high of a percentage of the cap going to him. I'd want less, like what I said. But there might be teams willing to give him that much.
  7. The Commanders making such a big jump is clearly because of winning, not because they changed so many things for the players 😆 Well, the question is whether they get one-on-one attention from training staff, which 75% of players said they did for the Bills. I think the conclusion is a little different from the question they asked. There might be players who felt their recovery went just fine even if they didn't have one-on-one attention all the time.
  8. I just don't think we can keep fielding the same players and expect anything different. I say blow up the line and try new players. That means moving on from Rousseau, Miller, and Jones. Not because they are bad. Because they aren't good enough. I'm willing to take a step back there if it means we bring in some young disruptors to develop and possibly trade for or sign a legit pass rusher. Rousseau is a good edge defender. He is great at containing and stopping the run. He makes a play here and there as a pass rusher. But he just isn't one of those elite edge rushers that we need. He would be good opposite an elite edge guy, similar to Jerry Hughes. If we get that, maybe I could be convinced to keep him. Yeah, maybe this is naive, but I'd want 20 to be the max. I'm wanting more like 18 or 19 per year for him.
  9. You don't choose what team you go into the hall of fame with in the NFL. It isn't like basketball. Lynch had a bunch of off the field issues in Buffalo and then continued to have them in Seattle for awhile until he changed and matured. For that reason, I don't blame the Bills for moving him.
  10. That's a bottom half of the league set of receivers.
  11. So, a pretty average running back? Blount was nothing special. He had two 1,000 yard seasons out of 11 in the league. He was a good complementary power runner and goaline back, but that's all. If we bring in a back to replace Cook, he better have some speed.
  12. It's just fans who don't know what they are talking about and who just parrot the old talking points.
  13. Ok. I can see that you and others feel that way. I actually like it and I'm against over legislating the game. I don't want to put even more on the officials for them to potentially mess up. We should be removing and simplifying the rules, not adding. That's my opinion.
  14. It's no coincidence that the best RB production in years started coming when the Bills produced the best offensive line it has in years. If Cook was a complete back, it might be a different story for me. But he is a 50% of the snaps back because there are more competent options for pass blocking and receiving.
  15. This is why RB's shouldn't get big contracts. It is not that difficult to replace their production with a guy on a rookie deal. Plus, the shelf life on RBs is shorter than any other position.
  16. I think the point of the rule is to prevent players from picking up the ball carrier and physically carrying them. I bet if we saw that the officials would throw the flag.
  17. Only pulling a player is not allowed. That doesn't ever get called, though. Not since the early 90's. It is called the QB sneak.
  18. I don't think there is a case for it to be banned besides some people just not liking it, for some reason. It fits completely within the rules and the spirit of the game. Nobody has an issue with linemen pushing running backs forward when they get stopped.
  19. Hamlin is 6 ft tall and 200 pounds. He is not a small safety. He also isn't slow or unathletic like some like to claim. His RAS score is a 7, which means he is above average athletically for his position.
  20. Honestly, Hamlin is better in the box as well. But maybe that is what they want. Two safeties who have the ability to play in the box, run stuff, and blitz.
  21. That would be a cool game to go to. But there is no way they have any of that decided yet, right?
  22. 1988 getting to the conference championship game. Marv Levy won coach of the year that year.
  23. And he looks like a college kid.
  24. The Bills have a playoff problem: The Chiefs. End of thread.
