  1. They brought in Norman and Gaines which should have been enough, but then Gaines opted out. So I think it is likely that Wallace is the guy again. And I'm fine with that. He had a sophomore slump but he's a young player and can get better. I agree with the article that Norman doesn't have the athleticism anymore to turn and run with NFL WR's, but we'll see.
  2. Likely isn't the right word. Because the season will likely begin as planned. But it may not last long after that. No way to know.
  3. It's similar to black magic.
  4. And all of the sudden the Patriots have lots of cap space. Funny how things work out for them...
  5. And the best athletes in the US go to other sports. Again, because you can get rich and famous in those other sports but not as much in soccer (in the US). It's a shame because I do love watching soccer (and playing it) but I don't have any connection with a European team and MLS teams aren't as good.
  6. "Thrown too hard" is silly unless it is within 5 yards of the line of scrimmage. NFL receivers need to catch it no matter how hard it is thrown if it hits them in the hands.
  7. Yeah, but it can go both ways. Sometimes the player is just as much of the problem as those around him. Hard to know sometimes how players from bad teams will turn out. But we've had some good signing like that. Jordan Poyer is the poster boy. John Brown flashed when he was on a good Cardinals team, so he's not a true example, but he did have his best season as a Bill.
  8. Yeah, having backups with a ton of starting experience is great. Long is a great backup. I think people trash players who are on that fringe of being not quite good enough to start. Because those players end up starting and have mixed results. But when they are backups they are great to have.
  9. They mentioned a lot of injuries and how he used to be a good player but isn't anymore because injuries have taken their toll. But we'll see. I don't follow offensive linemen from other teams so I don't have an opinion myself.
  10. They were trashing him pretty hard earlier in the thread. Seems like most were happy to see him go.
  11. Doubt it. Singletary will be the starter and shows already he is very effective at the NFL level. But Moss will be the 1b and get short yardage, goal line, and change of pace opportunities.
  12. Just ignore him. 90% of his posts are bashing Allen. We all know how he feels but he keeps posting it over and over and over. It goes like this: "You said something good about Allen?! What a moron!" "You said something bad about another QB in the NFL!? Allen is worse than all QB's that ever played the game!"
  13. Went to the playoffs 2 of the last 3 years and have one of the best defenses in the league. I really don't care. Say whatever you want. I just don't see the point in you coming here to defend the Patriots and discount the Bills. What are you hoping to achieve? Convert Bills fans into Patriots fans?
  14. That's not what these guys are doing. They come here to defend their teams and discount the Bills.
  15. I just don't get why fans of other teams want to come here and post. What's the point? I would never go to another team's message board, create an account, and start posting. Why? Because I have no interest in their teams.
  16. That's a logistical nightmare.
  17. You were berating them for their opinion. My opinion is similar to yours, but I think it is just as valid to be happy the Jets lost a good player and that the Bills will have an easier schedule as a result. Care to elaborate?
  18. Oh, I thought they died because they were primarily old and caught a disease.
  19. I like to see the Jets suffer, but I also don't want too many good players opting out of the season. Each starter that opts out brings the season closer to being cancelled, I feel. And it also just makes the league less competitive and less interesting. But yeah, I'll take every opportunity to laugh at the Jets.
  20. Well I disagree. Wallace is totally in the mix.
  21. Why is your opinion more valid than theirs?
