Kansas City/Tampa Bay on Monday Night Football
MJS replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall
Man, it would suck to lose the superbowl that way on a successful 2-point play to end the game... That is "Wide Right" territory. -
Promising coordinators who get head coaching jobs fail all the time. It is a huge risk.

All trades completed - highest trade was a 3rd round pick

They suck even when they have him. They need to blow that team up and rebuild. -
What has LaPorta been doing this year? He has 300 yards and 2 TD's this year. Kincaid has more catches, yards, and the same amount of TDs. TE production is down all around the NFL this year. Travis Kelce hadn't done a lot until the past two weeks. When has he said that the key to offense is running the football? That doesn't sound like McDermott. He has said at times that we need to run the football better and that we need to play complimentary football. Do you have a quote?
-
Why? He has been a backup everywhere. He has played because of injury. It was an open competition in camp and preseason and he was unavailable for good portions of that, and didn't impress when he was available. He lost the competition. There is zero evidence that he would be better than Hamlin or anyone else who has been playing.

And the others were blowouts, haha.

How is that not intentional grounding? -

He certainly does not look fast. He has never been fast. That's not his game. -
I watched them a little and it seemed like they had some good interior defensive line play.

That was the same drive with the two phantom holding penalties and the called back Josh Allen TD scramble. I think they ended up kicking a field goal. -
I think getting the tie and hoping for overtime was the right call. And it would have worked if Poyer didn't have that blatant helmet hit. And they forced Bass to make a franchise record distance kick.
-
With only 5 seconds left. They would have only had a Hail Mary to try. It was the correct decision.
-
I felt fine. The Bills weren't even down. They were tied.

I didn't get the wrong year. They cut, traded, or lost Marcel Dareus, Sammy Watkins, Nickel Robey, Ronald Darby, and Robert Woods. Everyone accused the team of tanking. The 2017 roster was bad. 2018 was worse, for sure, but 2017 was an objectively terrible roster and it was a supreme coaching job by McDermott getting them to the playoffs. He should have won coach of the year that year.

Bogus. Everyone accused the Bills of tanking in 2017. Everyone thought they would be the worst team in the league.

A player in the Sunday night game got ejected for the same exact thing. Pretty similar plays.

Josh’s TD run was MVP awesome, before Josh was robbed again.

It was amazing. What a horrible thing to take away on a phantom holding call. I am not one to pile on the refs, usually, but those two "holding" calls on that drive were complete BS. They should be fined or whatever happens for refs to get held accountable. Good job by the Bills overcoming those bad calls and getting the win. -

You don't lead those ones. You stick them right on their bodies, which is exactly what Josh did. It was a perfect pass. -
They need to just roster Ankou. He always seems to play well when they bring him up.
