  1. Yeah, that's a risk for sure. But honestly starters don't play a lot in the preseason anyway, so they should be able to replicate the same number of live reps fairly easily, but they may not be able to replicate the intensity. I feel like hamstring injuries are a fatigue issue rather than a flexibility issue (hydration and conditioning). They usually go after long runs or later during the game. But I'm sure flexibility has something to do with it too.
  2. What did he talk about when no football was going on? This show is on every day during the off season too. He should know the rules and abide by them. In this case he should speak in generalities. Talk about certain players playing really well and others struggling, but don't mention who they like up with. Most of the other media people are managing.
  3. Another gem. You are the greatest.
  4. Yeah. I can see that now. I guess I've just gotten so used to hearing that kind of stuff. It sucks that he got in trouble for it because I'm sure he wasn't trying to break the rules, but hey, rules are rules and it is his job to know what he can and can't say. Edit: Tasker should have told him to shut up instead of asking for more information. He should know the rules too.
  5. Divulging that where, though? He wasn't saying anything in the open anywhere that I saw. Never said much on the show.
  6. Whoa. I wonder what this is all about. He's been a total company man from all appearances.
  7. If he plays the same as he did last year (minus a couple of fumbles) I'd be totally fine with it. Already averaging over 5 yards a carry and I'm sure if you project his yards and TD's over the full year (including games he played behind Gore) he would have very good stats. But he'll probably be better, which is exciting.
  8. I was too hung up on disliking Marrone. It was clear to me the team would never go anywhere under him. But that defensive line was fun to watch. Mario, Kyle, Hughes, and Dareus.
  9. Gotta be 2017 and breaking the drought. My greatest "Bills" memory (since I'm a young guy) is the 4th and 12 pass from Dalton. Ironic it wasn't even a Bills game, but that was so epic. And then the other two would be the other two McDermott years. Even 2018 was good to watch because you knew the Bills were building something special and finally had a real QB to work with. That Vikings game was so awesome.
  10. Oh for sure. I think Singletary will be a star by year's end. He was great last year but sat behind Gore too much and had the injury. He should be amazing this year. Definately taking him in fantasy football.
  11. Hard to make sweeping judgements based on a day or two of practice, but yeah, the Jets are going to be a poor football team this year.
  12. If you don't like the topic, go back to your other hobbies, like strangling cats.
  13. Maybe they included the backup offense vs the starting defense?
  14. Sounds like they should play their backups instead.
  15. I see he increased his height. Photoshop makes the impossible possible. Beat me to it.
  16. He isn't a rookie. He knows how to play in games. Allen needs to improve his field awareness (reading the defense) and decision making. That comes from watching film, studying, and playing real games. I don't think playing a few series in preseason matters all that much for his development. Playing the REAL games is what will help him the most.
  17. But isn't Barkley's TD:INT ratio bad too? I get that he hasn't played as much, but that also means he has never shown that he is good enough to start for any of the coaches he has played for.
  18. That could mean they suck, or it could mean their defense is really good, or it could mean both their offense AND defense sucks, but the offense sucks more. Or it could mean that you shouldn't make too many assumptions from training camp performances. But yeah, the Jets are gonna suck.
  19. He has been in the league for 7 seasons. It's hard to imagine he has unknown potential.
  20. I never knew we had so many champs.
  21. I'd totally take a flier on him. I thought he was going to be pretty good coming out, but it hasn't worked out. But McDermott can coax that 1st round talent out of him.
  22. Yeah, people were claiming they saw some good stuff from him last year. Then you bring up the stats and they just go quiet. Patriots ALWAYS get the benefit of the doubt, even when they clearly have some terrible things going on with their team.
  23. Barkley isn't good, but making him out to be the worst QB in existence is extreme. (And he is nowhere near as good as Fitz any way you slice it). He played well against the Jets a couple year ago, and basically hasn't played hardly at all since then. Fans went from being fine with Barkley as a backup last year to horrified this year, and I wonder what the change was. He played only a few downs of meaningful football. Most of his 2019 play was in the meaningless week 17 game where the Bills sat everyone who mattered. I would have liked to see an upgrade at backup QB, but some of you are going WAY overboard. Fitzpatrick is definately a turnover machine, especially in key moments. But he is a great backup because he has the ability to come in, rally the troops, and win a game. Most backups don't have that ability. You just don't want Fitzpatrick to be your starter because eventually he WILL start turning it over in droves.
  24. I have nothing against him. I also thought he would be more of a contributor after his first year. But he certainly isn't producing now and doesn't seem to be positioning himself in camp like the two rookies are. Maybe he can be a practice squad guy.
