  1. Well, with a name like Wickersham...
  2. If they really wanted to do it better they would need to have like 15 (or as many as they possibly can) of their analysts all grade each play and then take the average of all of them. Hopefully that would eliminate some bias and also the nuanced differences in how each individual is grading. I'm not totally sure how they do it, though. It would be a lot of work to grade every single play from every single player. They'd need a huge staff. How many people do they employ? And they do this for college games too, right? I just don't know how they could do it well without a huge staff.
  3. Most of those guys had big games. So it's not super crazy. But it's safe to say that Allen's games are viewed with more scepticism from PFF than others, for some reason. Rodgers could make a throw into triple coverage for an amazing completion and they would say "wow, what a play! He put it where only his receiver could get it!" but if Allen would do that they'd say "that ball was interceptable. He's lucky the receiver caught it!" These numbers they come up with are just visual representations of their opinions after watching a play. They aren't even real numbers. They don't mean anything. They are trying to turn qualitative data into quantitative data. It's not real.
  4. Game of the season, right here.
  5. Took me a minute to remember who that was.
  6. I never said that, but there have been multiple posters talking about how bad the Steelers are, how easy their schedule has been, and how easily the Bills will handle them, predicting essentially a blowout. The Bills ARE the ones that need to overcome. They are facing a 1 loss team. Fans who take the Steelers lightly may be disappointed. Of course, McDermott will have his team ready and motivated. No doubt about it. But I guarantee you he doesn't view this game as a cakewalk like some fans here do. I expect the Bills to win, but I am not taking the Steelers lightly like some fans here.
  7. Rodgers and Mahomes are the clear frontrunners. Allen is the dark horse. A few things need to happen for him to get it: 1) Bills need to win out 2) Allen needs to not throw another INT 4) Allen needs to average 275 yards passing over the next 4 games 5) Allen needs to average 2.5 passing TD's over the next 4 games This would give Allen 4,500 yards passing, 36 passing TD's, and the Bills would be 13-3. That might do it. But Mahomes is on track for 5,000 yards and 38 TD's. Rodgers is on pace for 4,500 yards and 44 TD's. Both of those guys will need to slip a little.
  8. And why would anyone want to see Brady in another Superbowl? I want to see him sitting on the couch for the playoffs. I'd be afraid our players would get murdered (literally). The blond haired, blue eyed ones should be fine, though...
  9. So you don't think that opposing offensive coordinators have thought about this? That's what has been happening all year. They go after what they perceive is your weak spots. Luckily, Wallace is not as bad as everyone has been saying. He's pretty average. Taron Johnson is ok, but not that good. Both players are serviceable. These guys would not be playing if there was a better option on the team right now. And it is nowhere near the problem you make it out to be. Obviously you want to have two shutdown corners and a great nickel, but that's a little unrealistic. Whoever lines up opposite of Tre White is going to get targeted all game long.
  10. Hey, I like the variety (unlike some fans). I don't mind the read uniforms once in awhile. These ones aren't my favorite, but no biggie. My least favorites are the blue on blue, though. But they all look good to me.
  11. Ok, but that KC game was also pretty bad conditions regardless of temp. Allen does not seem to be the bad weather QB we hoped he would be. Maybe that is still something he can improve on. But most games aren't bad weather anyway.
  12. I think this is going to be a challenging game. And I would not be surprised to see the Steelers come out extremely motivated.
  13. Yeah, it was that stretch of games where it was windy and rainy. KC, NE, and maybe the Jets?
  14. I still like Singletary and I'm not willing to give up on him after one down season. Haven't really seen much from Moss, but he is also a rookie. I'd say if we were to add a running back (in the off season), I'd want a speedster.
  15. I mean, is Tom Brady any different? He has verbally accosted coaches and teammates on the sidelines MANY times, and sulks into the locker room after losses. Yeah, he usually keeps his cool with the media, but Brady is not a likable teammate at all. Seemed to not deter him much through his career. Big Ben has called out his own teammates over the years and seems pretty selfish and me first. He isn't much of a leader. If Murray is good at playing football it doesn't really matter all that much. Yeah, it would be nice if he was a leader and boy scout, but not necessary.
  16. If Daboll deserves a head coaching gig, he should absolutely pursue it and I'm sure McDermott and everyone else in the organization would be happy for him. McDermott knows this day was coming. He has a plan. He is very well thought of around the league. He would have no trouble getting another bright, young coordinator to come in and do a great job. Or that person is already on the staff.
  17. Gamblers are sick of losing their money the past two weeks.
  18. Elliot was pretty dang good, but he has been a workhorse for years now and maybe he feels it now. He used to just truck people over. Don't see that much anymore. And he doesn't seem like a guy who takes practice, training, and treating his body right seriously to me. Maybe he is. I could be wrong. He seems like he's just going through the motions to me.
  19. We've already seen what happens to them in the playoffs. Unfortunately for the Ravens, Jackson is one dimensional and doesn't have a strong enough arm to get the ball outside the numbers. The Ravens can win regular season games with him, but the playoffs are a different story.
  20. It was charged to Allen because of the rules. But it was 100% Moss's fault. And I'm sure Moss would be the first person to tell you that.
  21. That's exactly what I called for after it happened. He did go back in later, I believe. I think he had a run for a loss. He was clearly down on that one, though. Wasn't even close.
