Surprising to see Matt Ryan so high. The rest of those guys are pretty mobile.

Came across this on reddit. Josh Allen is number 1 in the NFL at evading pressure:

Would you want to re-sign Isiah McKenzie?
MJS replied to Royale with Cheese's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Sure. But I imagine there are lots guys who could fill that role. He's only 25 so he has a lot of years left to play. -
Mitch Morse out of concussion protocol; returns to practice

Good to have him back. -
You're talking about the league leader in receptions and receiving yards...

The Slide (Stefon Diggs): smart move?
MJS replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It's simply a change up in your stride to try to fake the defender out. Trying to make them think you are going to change direction or make a juke move or something. Singletary did it last year and successfully froze the defender with it to give him a bit of space to continue his run into the end zone. -
One of the most exciting plays in football is when a QB takes a hard hit and doesn't even see it coming. Unfortunately a lot of that has been taken out of the game.
-
It also comes down to opponents and scheme. We faced Gregg Williams, who has a blitz happy scheme. We also faced the Seahawks who literally had nothing else on defense to do because they were getting gashed no matter what. In the past the recipe to stop Allen is to NOT blitz but to contain him in the pocket and rally to him when he decides to run. Force him to stay in the pocket and be a QB. That recipe has clearly changed. Teams are now afraid of keeping him in the pocket because he CAN be a QB and make throws. So they blitz him and/or drop into coverage (NE routinely had 7 DB's on the field to try to take away the pass).

Is the Bills window smaller than thought?
MJS replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
So if you were to put all the best teams on a list, how many of them have QB's with big contracts ($20 million plus)? Chiefs? Yes. Ravens? No. Steelers? Yes. Bills? No. Seahawks? Yes. Saints? Yes. Packers? Yes. Rams? Yes. Titans? Yes. Bucs? Yes. Seems like the Bills and Ravens are the only decent teams without a big QB contract. All the others make at least 20 million a year, most more than that. It doesn't stop them from having good teams. -
Yeah, I agree. Tua being good and people saying good things about him doesn't mean that Allen is bad or people think badly of Allen.

Peyton Manning won the Superbowl with the Colts and with the Broncos with big contracts. -
Come on, man. Everyone knows the Bills are a good team. They have plenty of national media attention. And if not, why do you care?
-
You never know. Cam Newton has the ability to play well. They could go on a run (for a wild card spot max). A few weeks ago we were all talking about how the Pats were still the team to beat. They put up points earlier in the year and they could potentially do that again. We barely beat them. But yeah, I think the division crown is not in the equation at all for them.

Josh Allen now 60% CAREER completion percentage.

Not to mention 600 yards! -
I'm sure the brace was part of it, but they also had two bad weather games, and they also played two of the best teams in the NFL during that stretch. I do not think it is accurate to pin everything on Josh's shoulder. There were a couple of INT's he threw that were clearly a result of decision making, not innaccuracy.

Probably playing with toys. I was 4.

Another tough opponent. Could go either way. But I expect the Bills to go win it. But seriously, people, if we lose can we not go back to the "fire McDermott" and "Josh Allen sucks" talk? The Cards are a good team. Sometimes good teams are going to beat us. It doesn't mean our team sucks or our coach is horrible. Losses happen. Let's just hope that this was the beginning of a turning point for our defense (crossing my fingers Tre doesn't miss time with that ankle). If the defense can get back on track, that would be amazing. We could have a dominant defense AND offense. How sweet would it be to head into the playoffs with both sides of the ball clicking?

Maybe we can say the Bills are better because they already beat the Dolphins. But that would be ridiculous, right?

Looking at the remaining schedule I see 12-4 at worst

Yep. Win big and it's Superbowl talk. Lose, or even don't win "good" enough and we need to fire everyone and start over.- 26 replies

Looked like an ankle sprain to me. He was walking around afterward.
