Yeah, and his pass interference call was clearly a flop by the WR. But oh well...

I think Edmunds hurt his shoulder when he tried tackling Crowder on the long TD. He hit him hard but bounced off. Maybe he didn't wrap him up because he was hurt. Milano I think was on the sidelines pass that he defended and twisted awkwardly. I'm sure Carolina still has his rights.

They did show the controversial missed kick from behind the posts on one replay and from there it looked wide right. From the front view it is impossible to gauge when the ball actually crosses the posts. I'm going to say it was a missed kick and they got the call right. But I'd like to see the end zone shot once more. Bass better work on his game. He needs to make all of those kicks. Those were not tough kicks. Even his makes were dangerously close. Hopefully it was just jitters and he improves going forward.

Once again it was quite noticeable when Milano went out. The defense just isn't as good or consistent without him. Sure hope he signs an extension. But he has got to stay healthy.

Didn't happen. I heard he would never be able to get above 60% and that's the end all be all on QB accuracy.

He was awesome. And I like how they weren't just sending him deep. He consistently moved the chains. He made tough catches and held onto the ball after big hits. His separation and catching ability were as good as advertised. And John Brown looked great too, except I remember a catch he should have caught. I thought "That's the difference between him and Diggs. Diggs would make that catch." But they are a great WR tandem.

I think the oline was good on pass plays, but also the Jets defense was playing contain and trying not to give Allen rushing lanes, so that made it easier on them. The run blocking wasn't good, but it was also the first time the oline has played this year and the Jets do have a good defensive line. We'll see how it goes going forward.

Obviously it does. Did you watch the game?

A+ passing it. C+ rushing it. Those two fumbles just can't happen, but otherwise he was still dominant as a rusher and he utilized his offensive weapons in the passing game flawlessly (except the missed TD to Brown). Hoping we can get the run game going more. Hopefully it is just that the Jets have a good defensive line or that the offensive line needed a game to gel and get back to form.

As expected

Lee Smith inactive is a bit surprising.

Current Overrated/Underrated Bills players
MJS replied to Ethan in Cleveland's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The dude just went to the Pro Bowl. He is totally not overrated. -
I live in the west and made a trip out to Buffalo to see a game in 2012 with my dad (who is from Buffalo). Fitz was the QB and we played the Rams. It was a December game (I wanted the full Buffalo experience). Fitz did what Fitz does. He made the game interesting until throwing a game sealing INT. It was awesome just to be there because it was my first time, but it also sucked because we lost and it was in the midst of the drought.

Yes Not that you were replying to me, but you realize that our healthcare and pharmaceutical system is not designed to cure but to mask symptoms, right? They want people to be on pills for the rest of their lives. Actually curing people is bad for business. You want people just sick enough to need your medication until they die.

I don't even know why there is even a 3 week time limit. Let the guy sit on IR for as long or short as he needs to get healthy and then sign him back. Now, maybe it should require at least two weeks, but I don't see the damage in having guys go on and off as needed. It protects the players because it gives the team options while allowing players to heal, and the player won't get rushed back as often.

Bills release DiMarco, injury settlement

Haha, he was a special teams player who occasionally played on offense. What's the issue? -
Excellent article on Allen taking the next step.

I don't get the throwing motion thing. If a guy has a weird throwing motion but is accurate and timely, what's the big deal? Phillip Rivers is a borderline hall of famer. There are plenty of other examples of guys with weird throwing motions and angles and who get the job done. -
People need to remember that there are going to be a lot more players put on and taken off IR this year. Normal injuries that take two to three weeks to heal will get you sent to IR. Honestly, I hope it stays this way in future seasons (including the practice squad rules). It's better for everyone. It will give more opportunities to practice squad players, prevent players from rushing back from injury too early, and give teams more flexibility.
