  1. The defense gets it together and the offense keeps rolling. Bills - 34 Rams - 17
  2. Gotta wait till the end of the season. If Allen has a true breakout year and we go deep in the playoffs, it will happen, and it should happen. Better to get it done sooner rather than later. But I'm sure it will be structured so the big money kicks in after his 5th year, similar to Tre's contract.
  3. Yeah. I picked Miami to win after seeing how good they played against the Bills. I think they are more legit than people realize. And Fitz is playing the best ball of his career right now. If anything, their performance against Jacksonville should add a bit of legitimacy to the Bills beating Miami last week. BTW, I was the cheerleader for "The Dolphins still suck!" brigade in the off-season. But I was wrong. The Dolphins are at least decent.
  4. McVay is a great coach, but he sometimes thinks himself into circles. McDermott still has a lot to prove. Should be a good battle. I FULLY expect Daboll to dial up a couple trick plays this Sunday.
  5. Arrogance? What are you talking about? The bills just got investigated for not having a player on the injury report last year, so they are going to put everything on there this year, even if it is minor. I'd say get over it, but it sounds like you made up your mind about McDermott long ago.
  6. Tripping is against the rules, so yes, the announcers were correct.
  7. I don't really care about that stuff. I just legitimately enjoy the game itself. All the extra drama is just noise to me.
  8. Josh Allen. Both of them.
  9. Wow. You let that bother you? I like it, personally. I want him to say nothing of substance to the media. His job isn't to entertain you. He is paid to win games. The business as a whole is entertainment, but that's not the head coach's role.
  10. Bills are looking good. If they go out and have a good game against the Rams, they'll get a lot of respect around the NFL.
  11. I really liked Mahomes, but I was a little concerned with the whole "air raid offense" thing that everyone always talks about. I liked Mayfield, Darnold, and Rosen, but didn't like Allen, but looking back I think I didn't like Allen because all of the draft analysts were so down on him. I also didn't want anything to do with Jackson, for a few reasons. First, I didn't want another running QB. I was sick of Tyrod and wanted a gifted passer. Second, Jackson had a poor pro day, in my opinion, and I also thought he handled the pre draft process really poorly, including having a terrible wonderlic score. I just felt he should have been better prepared for the draft, but maybe he wanted to slide so he could go to a better team. He landed in a perfect spot for him. I still wonder how sustainable his style of play is and whether or not defenses will adjust over time, but so far so good. He does have to prove it in the playoffs, though, which he has failed at twice now. I'm happy with Allen. He convinced me his rookie year after the Vikings game and after that week 17 Dolphins game.
  12. Whenever people link to forums for other teams I never see even close to the quality of posts and threads that I see here.
  13. There was definately a talent vacuum there for awhile. The last few years have luckily brought in some more talented QB's.
  14. I'd like to see Allen win some playoff games. Can't be considered elite until you do that.
  15. Let's hope Allen follows Mahomes and is the MVP this year and a Superbowl champ next year.
  16. He shouldn't be, but he is. Pretty silly, if you ask me.
  17. All three are deserving, I think. But I'm a Bills fan, so Allen it is!
  18. And that's another point. We don't know what the plays are or what Allen's route progressions are, or the direction he receives from Daboll. For all we know these are plays designed to go short so that they can set up the defense for longer plays later in the game. It's just like the offensive line. We don't always know the blocking assignments. And we don't know if a WR ran the wrong route, etc.
  19. Yeah, totally. I wasn't trying to reference the specific video, just that there is a lot of nitpicking of specific plays and I think that's the wrong way to evaluate a QB. But looking at specific plays and analyzing them is not a bad thing. People just shouldn't judge a QB based off of a few plays.
  20. I just think you could find these types of plays for even the best QB's in the NFL on any given Sunday. Players are bound to miss things and make mistakes. They aren't robots. A QB's performance should be measured in totality, not by one or two plays they missed or made.
  21. Were they white in the video? I had trouble telling. Looks white to me.
  22. Just take their shots in their butt instead of their chest.
