  1. I think that's fine. They will do a big adjustment in the next version of the game, I'd bet.
  2. It is literally a claim. Definition: "an assertion of the truth of something, typically one that is disputed or in doubt."
  3. Zack Moss speculates that Josh Allen could throw the football 100 plus yards. “Probably 100 yards … plus, I think, if he just wants to zip it instead of putting air … on the ball, I think he can probably throw it 100-plus. His arm is just— I mean, he has a top-five arm. He’s super strong, and he knows how to use his body to help him get a lot of throws off and stuff like that, so I would say 100-plus.” https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/josh-allen-can-throw-a-football-over-100-yards-bills-running-back-zack-moss-claims/
  4. And most of the players and coaches during those bad years are now gone, so why would the players and coaches have any incentive to contribute to a tank?
  5. People are also entitled to make fun of said opinions.
  6. Could have happened in practice. Not sure.
  7. I'm just surprised teams have still been giving him chances. He shouldn't be banned for life, but giving him a shot means cutting someone else who WON'T get suspended every year.
  8. I'd rather have that matchup in the divisional round or later.
  9. Exactly. That's why the same teams are always drafting in the top 10. They suck at playing, they suck at drafting, and they suck at developing players.
  10. What did he say about the Bills that impressed you? Everything he said seemed pretty general and are things that everyone knows. Belichick is obviously a great coach, but if you are using his press conferences as evidence of that, I think you are missing the mark. And McDermott has shown plenty of times his ability to adjust and gameplan. He wrote the script on how to beat the Ravens (even in a loss) that other teams have followed since. He for sure knows his opponents well.
  11. They do seem like they are a year ahead of where many expected them to be. But also the Patriots suck this year, which was not something the Bills had the advantage of during their rebuild. But it all comes down to QB. And Tua is not necessarily the long-term answer there. To me he looks ok but nothing jumps off the page for me. He's ok. Maybe he will be the guy, maybe not.
  12. I don't feel bad for either of them. I find joy in their suffering.
  13. I always rooted for wins during the bad times. Let the draft work itself out. I don't want to root for a team or players who aren't trying to win. And as I see it, the players and coaches are usually trying in these "tanking" teams. Sometimes they are hamstrung by the front office gutting the team of talent, but the players and coaches are wired to win.
  14. I just don't see evidence of McDaniels being a good coach. I'm always skeptical of the coordinators who have a hall of fame QB to carry them. And I am doubly skeptical of NE coaches who leave the nest. They don't seem to find success when they try to recreate the Patriot way elsewhere. I guess Daboll may fall into that category, but he had coaching experience before NE and after, and he certainly does not seem to instill the same kind of culture as Belichick. He works closely with the players and has a very friendly relationship with them (more in line with McDemott's philosophy of brotherly love).
  15. They had a "mutual agreement" to part ways, or at least that was what was reported. But I think Harbaugh disputed that later on. Regardless, he had a fantastic run there and the 49ers were dumb to let him go.
  16. Yeah, nobody should care about that. But Hopkins is clearly bothered by it even though he says repeatedly that he doesn't listen to it and ignores the hate.
  17. Clearly the players he opposes (who are also millennials) are taking exception to it and finding additional motivation. That's the reason it is being talked about. Allen was angry about it and it's obvious he had been talking about it with his teammates. And the Bengals were also unhappy about it. So yeah, it was certainly not as big of a difference in games that people are making it out to be, but still. You don't want to give the opposing team additional motivation unless you are prepared to back it up. And clearly Juju knows it to be disrespectful. He is dancing on another team's logo. I'm sure he isn't an idiot. He knows what that means. He's probably just fulfilling a dare.
  18. Not Harbaugh. Harbaugh took his team to the Superbowl and never had a losing season with the 49ers.
  19. He was a head coach already and that didn't work out.
  20. I think he was just done with the NFL after he got fired without ever having a losing season. He is a bit of a head case and a crazy personality, but he's a really good coach in the NFL. He went 44-19 as head coach of the 49ers. The 49ers hadn't had a winning season in 9 seasons prior to him. He went to the NFC Championship game 3 times and the Superbowl once. He was coach of the year once. Just crazy that the 49ers let him go.
  21. Jim Harbaugh. He has actually seen success as a head coach, and with lackluster QB's to boot.
  22. Could be Isaiah Hodgins in the final game. Wasn't he designated to return from IR?
  23. Well, I meant it for those people who complained about Allen not getting over 60%. It's one more of those boxes that have been checked.
  24. It goes to strength of victory because no one would have a head to head sweep, all three teams would be 10-2 in the conference, and there aren't 4 common opponents. The Bills need like 10 things to happen to boost their strength of victory.
