  1. I disagree. Tre is playing a great. You expect him to never give up a reception? That's just not possible. 90% of the game the opposing QB isn't even considering throwing in his direction. That means he is doing his job. He got turned around on that one deep ball against the Dolphins (which should have been incomplete anyways because the receiver dropped it when he landed), and other than that what are we talking about? A short pass to the end zone against a giant TE? Stopping the run? Are we going to knock out elite lockdown corner for not stuffing runs? That's not his job. Tre is great.
  2. Kroft DID have possession of the ball. He caught it and as he went to the ground the defender grabbed it. While they were both on the ground (when the play should have been dead) the defender slightly wrestled it away, but Kroft eventually took it back. At worst it was a tie, which by rule should be a Kroft catch.
  3. Hey, I'm not down on Josh at all. Taking risks and making big time throws is part of his game. But let's not pretend that he hasn't had an issue with these throws into coverage while under pressure in the past. When he is under duress he sometimes reverts to those ill-advised deep throws. But I've been an Allen supporter since his rookie season. The guy is a gamer, a big time competitor, and a winner.
  4. Yes, the Dolphins do have a good offense. What was weak about White?
  5. In one-on-one coverage. Not into double coverage.
  6. It was a jump ball, though. He just threw it up there. I was afraid it would get intercepted as soon as he threw it. That's a good point. Tyrod would have been brutal this game.
  7. I don't even think it was PI. Kroft barely touched the guy. But I guess when they see hands on the defender they call it, even though Kroft did not appear to push off to me. But it still wasn't a smart throw.
  8. He was double covered. Josh should have just thrown it away.
  9. Edmunds was indeed a problem today. He needs to wrap up instead of just hit. But he definately wasn't 100%. He was limited all week in a red non-contact jersey.
  10. We did, but that wasn't a bad call.
  11. It's a new season. New opponent's. New offenses. In the NFL you have to be continually adjusting. Plus Edmunds and Milano are likely not 100%. Wallace his been figured out.
  12. I think B+ is fair. Even though his INT was NOT an INT, it was still a bad decision to throw that ball. At times he held the ball too long and took unnecessary hits and sacks. But man, he is a gamer. He brings it all game, every game, and he wills himself to victory. What an awesome player to have on our side, and it's awesome we have some receivers who can make catches and help him out. This was a down game for Allen and this team, but he still accounted for 5 TD's and got the win. Even the down games look pretty good.
  13. Give me examples. What about his coaching was "trash"?
  14. I see execution issues. Edmunds missing tackles. Allen occasionally missing receivers. Offensive linemen allowing pressure, etc. I don't blame the coaches for the players not executing.
  15. I'm confused how anyone can be such a stick in the mud consistently like you are. We played a high power offense today. What is confusing? Were you expecting the Bills to keep them under 20 points? The Bills are going to get into shootouts sometimes. We are not going to have an elite defense forever. Because the other teams have coaches and players too who are trying to come back and win the game.
  16. The only thing I'm concerned about if the officiating. The defense is fine. The offense is good. The coaches will adjust. But it is very difficult to overcome terrible officiating. I mean, constant holding all game long and they never called it! I'm not one to usually blame the refs, but that was just horrible. I was ready to turn off the ball game. Sounds like you are just guessing. The coaches are making adjustments all game long. That's their job. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.
  17. I think fans have been spoiled by having a top 5 defense for the past 3 or 4 seasons. Guess what? We might not have that this year. We may slip into the teens. The Rams have a very good offense and a very good coach.
  18. I'm fine with it. It's the rule. What I'm not fine with is when they DON'T call the game according to the rules. Like the "INT". At least that one was close. You see the officials letting that go a lot, but you could totally call it. He was engaged with the WR more than 5 yards past the line of scrimmage. The INT was just abysmal officiating.
  19. I thought Epenesa played a good game. I saw him in the mix a few times and he got the sack on Goff.
  20. Even though we win I still leave angry. That was a horribly called game by the refs.
  21. Came into the game top 5 against the run, I believe.
  22. One of the worst calls I've ever seen.
  23. Block in the back on White.
