Why do we think Pittsburgh will rest starters?
-
Just go get the win, I say. I'd rather play the Dolphins or Colts than the Browns and Ravens.

"I said NO pickles on my burger!"

I have no problem with that. And it IS about sucking. The Bills, Dolphins, and Jets have not been competently run organizations. That has little to do with the Patriots. Bad hires. Bad drafting. Bad player development. Bad coaching. And what happened to the Bills when they got good at those things? They started going to the playoffs, even WITH the Patriots still good and losing to them. No excuses. Go win your games. Every team operates under the same rules and the same salary cap.

Kelly was CERTAINLY considered elite in his playing days. -
This has been talked about a lot, but yeah, it certainly bothered him. Also, those games had poorer weather and were against some better opponents (besides the Jets).
-
I think Allen likes Knox a lot.
-
Then don't suck at football. Get better and beat them. I have no problem with it at all.
-
It's unrealistic to believe you can go get the best TE in the league. Kelce types don't grow on trees. There are only a few elite TE's in the league. The rest are fairly mediocre.
-
I really don't see what the big deal is, honestly. If you want a home game you have to win your division. If you didn't win your division you don't get to complain. Each team has their own destiny in their own hands. Some divisions are harder than others and I like that, actually. The Bills, Jets, and Dolphins should have not sucked so bad. That's their problem.
-
I am perfectly fine with how it is now. The NFC could also have a .500 wild card team this year as well. The NFC is just not very strong. I like that there is incentive to win your division. I would not change that.
-
Is it rare? We're not talking about a 1 or 2 win team, here... Unquestionably, the Bills are better and probably will be for the foreseeable future, but there are 3 wild card slots now. The Patriots are not a good team, but they get some fire power back next year and have a ton of cap space. They could conceivably turn it around quickly. Or they could take a decade plus to do it. Guess we'll find out.
-
Clay's drop was a significantly tougher catch, though. He should have made it because that's his job and they needed it to win the game, but the drop by Jones hit him right in the chest. I think Knox's drop was an even easier catch than either of those.
-
None of us know what is in store for them either. They could find their guy next year and be well on their way to recovery, or they could be in limbo for a decade. Nobody knows. I think it is wishful thinking to think that they will go through anything close to what the Bills went through during the drought.

His comment was completely valid. If Duke Williams doesn't want comments made like that about him he needs to be better than a practice squad receiver.

I don't think he has the arm to get it to receivers anymore. Like at all. -

I'm not too sad. Newton is a real tool, in my opinion. I haven't been able to stand him since those joint practices seeing what an idiot he was (and then he didn't even play the preseason game). And all of his pouting on the sidelines and bad attitudes in interviews. I won't be sad to see him out of the game. -

Have to say, Cam Newton looks done. Can't see another team signing him next year. His arm is just dead, I guess? When he missed that pass over the middle to a wide open guy when he had to run up in the pocket, I was a little shocked. He skipped it off the ground. Guess his injuries and shoulder problems have done him in? -
It's especially sweet to get a good special teams play against Belichick. Roberts with the big return early in the game was nice too.

Perfect passer rating for Allen tonight. Very nice. -
Diggs first team all-pro chances?

His TD's tonight really helped his chances. Good for him! -

They were trying earlier with him and Roberts. So they have it on their mind. -
Ohio State QB’s and Us.- Update Haskins cut!

And? He showed his propensity to throw his players under the bus. He was a terrible leader there. -
There were a couple posters that gave Ice Bowl a hard time, but most everyone was decent. Ice Bowl seemed to take offense easily. That was my perspective.

That is excusable, though. The only thing we knew about Gase then was that he was highly touted by Peyton Manning and had good offenses. He showed his truly terrible tendencies as head coach with the Dolphins.
