  1. A couple of Josh Allen's best games are from his rookie season. Nobody was paying attention enough before 2020 to realize that Josh came into the league with all of the tools to be great. He just had to develop them.
  2. I don't get how they are related, though. Do the players get more injured if they try hard? Are injuries preventable by not trying your hardest to get the 1 seed? This regime doesn't rush players back ever, so that's not going to happen regardless.
  3. This thread taught me that you can post in HUGE bright red fonts.
  4. Always the ray of sunshine.
  5. True, haha. The Dolphins and Jets really crashed and burned this year. They should be embarrassed. It shows the difference between accumulating talent and building a team.
  6. Funny that he blocked you, because BullBuchanan is the SINGULAR person that I have ever blocked on this site. I've had my fights with other posters for sure, but I've never felt like I needed to block anyone until him. He should feel honored.
  7. Didn't the Bills tie that record in one of the recent seasons? I seem to remember that being a talking point.
  8. The 6th olineman is technically a TE, which means they can pass him the ball. Don't be surprised if they do that sometime in the playoffs.
  9. Bills: 33 Rams: 20
  10. Why? They seem beatable to me. Goff is still a statue. They are banged up on defense. They have gotten stopped and punted multiple times already tonight. I don't see the mystique in them that you do.
  11. Dumb challenge.
  12. I'm assuming he means now that the number of playoff teams has been expanded.
  13. And so it is not decriminalized everywhere, like the post I responded to stated. It is illegal in the United States of America. Just a fact.
  14. It is still a federally banned substance.
  15. It's OK to root for the Bills and want them to stomp their opponents and ALSO to think of matchups and cool scenarios in the Superbowl. I do think it would be cool if the Lions got there, because they never have. Or if the Bills and Vikings faced off in the superbowl, since both of 4 Superbowl losses. Some people enjoy NFL football, not exclusively Bills football. Yes, I root for the Bills and I'm a die hard fan of the team, but I also watch other games and follow the entire NFL landscape. That is fun for me. I don't follow any other sports, not even college football, so I get pretty invested in the NFL.
  16. I would argue that it is incidental contact as part of a normal play. Here is the language at the end of the rule: "These provisions do not prohibit incidental contact by the mask or the helmet in the course of a conventional tackle or block on an opponent." It is kind of on the line to me. I certainly would not ever want to see a weak, customary play like that ever be flagged or fined. Gosh, do we want defenders to just be stationary dummies out there? Also, it is far more likely that Josh's funny bone, as he claims it, was hit by someone else or even during the fall to the ground, not due to the Fred Warner hit.
  17. He calls him by his name? Wow.
  18. Why flagged? It isn't against the rules.
  19. Part of the problem is defenders trying to make a hit, not trying to make a tackle. They lower their helmet to deliver a blow. That is when guys like Josh Allen jump over them. It's stupid. Keep your head up and go wrap up the ball carrier and make a boring tackle. If that was the mentality with defending a scrambling QB, you wouldn't have as many late hits. You'd be more aware and able to react when a slide happens. And you wouldn't have those huge, late hits.
  20. Yeah, he did it in an era when there was only 14 games for most of his career, although the final couple of years it switched to 16. He's had success in the playoffs too, though. The Bills have won at least one playoff game every year for the past handful of years. Only the Chiefs and the Bills have done that.
  21. Not true. Even the best teams in the NFL only have a small chance of getting to and winning a superbowl. That's just how it is. You get into the playoffs and you try to go on a run. You need a little luck, too. Nobody should ever expect a superbowl because superbowls are not ever likely. Hoping for one makes sense. Believing that you have a shot at it because of the team, the QB, etc. makes sense. But expecting one is never wise.
  22. I was going to say this. I'm a big McDermott supporter, but the 17 game schedule makes that a tad easier. I wish the NFL would have stuck with 16 games and not added more playoff teams. That was the perfect format.
  23. Nope. I have always been a McDermott supporter and continue to be. I think he is a top 5 head coach in the NFL and is perfectly capable of bringing a Lombardi Trophy to Buffalo. The time may come in the future when we move on from him. He will immediately go to another franchise and turn them into a contender as well.
  24. He had a pretty forgettable personality and was so frustrating to watch, sometimes.
