  1. Edelman wouldn't have even known about most of the cheating, if any. Basically nobody did but Brady and the higher ups. I'm sure Brady didn't even know about all of it. Only Belichick and a few of his closest people.
  2. They forgot to sacrifice their weekly virgin. Satan is punishing them.
  3. That kind of stuff WINS you respect as an offensive lineman.
  4. Bills: 26 Patriots: 20 But who knows? It is basically a preseason game.
  5. He is only 29 I think, but he has fallen off a cliff production wise. He just sucks at this point.
  6. He sucks. We don't want him.
  7. Yeah. I think Spencer Brown has been just as dominant, if not more so this year, but he doesn't have the name recognition or the personality.
  8. Cook should have got in. That's a snub. Benford as well, but he doesn't have the INTs to get votes, so that is understandable. Spencer Brown should be in there, but oline is always a bit random. I don't think anyone else deserves it. We have a roster of solid starters and good depth, but not much elite talent.
  9. Besides the Bills, of course.
  10. Tom Brady's last year in New England was pretty paltry as the offensive roster around him was pretty bad. I was going to use that as an example, actually. He went to Tampa Bay and won another Superbowl because they surrounded him with a ton of talent. I like PFR Aproximate Value. You could look at that as a second option.
  11. High QBR does not separate the QB impact from the rest of the team, the culture, player development, etc. Having good players to distribute the ball to, a good oline to protect him, a good scheme to operate in, good play calling, and a good culture of winning and growth are all going to positively impact QBR. The QB is the most important position in sports. He has the highest impact on wins and losses for sure. But it is also true that he can't do it alone. I'm not sure there is a great way to separate those impacts since they all play together, especially the coach and culture. But for the players, you could look at pro bowl and all pro players that they play with. That might be a way to show which QBs have to overcome more of a talent gap from the rest of the team and which benefit from dominant players at other positions. It still isn't great, but it is a start.
  12. They don't. You get 3 free call ups. Ok, yeah, I think they changed it a couple of years ago to 3.
  13. Am I missing something? Practice squad players can be called up three times.
  14. I always want the Bills to win. That's a hard rule for me. I never root for losses. I don't care how it affects the draft. Half the players in the 1st round are busts anyway.
  15. You don't know they are elite until they get in the league, unfortunately.
  16. The elite guys are the only ones. The Bills don't have one of those.
  17. Bad teams are almost always loaded with draft picks and cap space.
  18. That doesn't actually happen. You draft a bunch of players who bust. You draft a couple who might be starters. And you get a handful of depth players. Bad teams don't draft and develop well.
  19. Yes I am. Crap teams have amazing draft capital all the time. It rarely helps them.
  20. Draft picks in general are far overvalued. It is more important to develop their young QB than literally anything else they could possibly ever do in their organization. Everything else should be secondary.
  21. Because the first pick in the draft is extremely overrated if you have your QB.
  22. That would be a stupid move. Young QBs need playing time, and a meaningless game for both teams is a perfect scenario to get him valuable experience.
  23. The Jets job has to be one of the least attractive jobs ever. They are going to struggle to find a quality candidate who is willing. They have a meddling owner, a history of failure, toxic media, a 41 year old QB, the longest playoff drought in sports, and they are in a division with a consistently dominant Bills team.
  24. You realize that every team does this, right?
  25. Then why didn't he put it where it is supposed to be?
