#1 receiver and #1 target in the offense are two different things.
-
Amari Cooper is the #1 receiver. Shakir is the slot receiver. The Bills offense does not feature the #1 receiver. They spread the ball around and target whoever is open and focus on specific matchups week to week.

How much time have you spent thinking about this game.
MJS replied to Stroke 17's topic in The Stadium Wall
I was more worried about the Ravens game. But as a fan, you want the chance to get to the biggest game and fight for a championship, so this is crunch time. -
McDermott respects Reid, but I’m not sure the feeling is mutual.
MJS replied to BringBackFergy's topic in The Stadium Wall
McDermott started as a coach under Reid. I'm sure he has a ton of respect for McDermott. You are reading into those plays in a foolish manner. None of those mean the things you say they mean. -
How aggressive do you want McDermott to be on Sunday?
MJS replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah, but that was under the old rules. -

Yeah, I could see going for two in that scenario. However, they did change the overtime rules so that BOTH teams get a possession in the playoffs. For that reason, I chose to kick the extra point. -
I'm not sure that's accurate. I bet they take some time off with their families. There is only so much you can do. Yeah, it isn't like they get ALL of it off, but I know I've seen pictures of coaches on vacation with their families, etc.

They love coaching. It is their life, for better or worse. Plus, they get a few months off in the offseason.

Serves you right 😆

Should the NFL do a consumer product survey of its customers (fans)?
MJS replied to Chaos's topic in The Stadium Wall
That's precisely why they care about what the fans think. Because they want to make money. But they don't need to do a survey to know what fans think. -
Kelce for sure isn't washed. Yeah, maybe he is slower, but his game was never predicated on speed. He still has that uncanny ability to get open. He isn't the dominant force he used to be, but he is still good.

Yeah, it is pretty terrible when you look closely. Basically everything is wrong.

I'd say: Offense: Josh Allen, Dion Dawkins, Spencer Brown, Khalil Shakir, James Cook Defense: Taron Johnson, Christian Benford, Matt Milano (if healthy), Terrel Bernard Spencer Brown should 100% be included. He has established himself as an elite level tackle in this league. Dawkins has only elevated his status as elite this year. Both of them are great. I'm a little iffy on Shakir and Bernard, but I think they both have the potential, and they both have a knack for making big plays in critical moments. Rousseau is a possibility, but he just doesn't get the sacks. Elite run defender, though. Oliver is another, but he is too streaky for me.

Cowboys closing in on a deal to make Brian Schottenheimer their next HC
MJS replied to Gregg's topic in The Stadium Wall
He was just the offensive coordinator for the Cowboys, so I'd say that is a pretty serious coaching role. I'm not sure it matters what his dad did. Anyway, we'll see how he does. It seems like the Cowboys liked him enough to promote him from within. -
Didn't we have a thread about them selling slow? Now I don't know what to believe...
-
I honestly don't know why every stadium doesn't do this. It would bring so much good will to your business from the attending fans. And you would sell MORE concessions. Did he not go to the grocery store either since the owner of the chain was rich? I don't really get the logic here. People pay for what they want. If you provide what people want, you get paid. If they REALLY want it, you get rich.

Cowboys closing in on a deal to make Brian Schottenheimer their next HC
MJS replied to Gregg's topic in The Stadium Wall
He hasn't been a head coach, though. So he isn't exactly a head coach retread, but I can see what you mean. Honestly, most new head coaches fail, even when they were great coordinators. The job is just so different than coordinating. Maybe he is a good leader and motivator and he can hire coordinators who are good play callers. Maybe it will work? I guess we'll see. -

Wait, do we know he is bad or something? Why are people mocking the pick? -
What can we do about it? Just message a moderator. I was new once as well. And I have never had a problem with mods. But one thing I notice is that a lot of new people like to start their own threads about any little thing that pops into their heads. It can be annoying because it clutters up the page and almost always is not compelling, but could simply be a reply to an existing post. I almost never feel the need to start a thread myself. The times I have done so, which are rare, is because I believe it is new and different and not represented on the page already.

They donated to Tyler Bass's charity after the Bills lost when he missed the kick last year in the playoffs. And I heard they started this one after it was reported that Andrews was getting death threats for that drop.

They clarified that it is not an award that means coming back from sucking. It is supposed to be coming back from injuries or illnesses.

If they can get there, I would be fairly confident. But they have to get through Kansas City first. That is a tall task.

Nice.

Yes I do.
