The best thing about this game is that it's not a 'must win' for our playoff chances. We are 3-0 and in a great spot. Obviously, this would be a giant statement win, but not a 100% must.

The only thing dumber than drug testing someone who isn’t playing is signing a ceremonial contract with no intent to play.

It's not about how much money he was scheduled to make or the impact on the team. It's BS for a guy to make a commitment and then retire. If he wanted to retire, he should have done so before signing the contract. Perhaps we could have even looked at bringing another veteran in.

They were absolutely good players but it shows the following: - 2 headed monster running back combinations don't necessarily work. You need a feature guy and a change of pace guy - Money shouldn't be invested in two highly paid running backs. There are too many other needs on the team (as there were in each of those three scenarios) and when they go unaddressed, it doesn't matter who's at RB.

Remember that time when we were supposed to have a two headed monster in the backfield of Willis McGahee and Travis Henry? And another time with Marshawn Lynch and Fred Jackson? And another time with Fred Jackson and CJ Spiller. All of these worked out great.
