Makes sense to me. Why not now? This shows they are not planning to use Rodgers next year. No way they would hire a new GM and force them and their new head coach he brings in to deal with Aaron. There's not much for a GM to do between now and end of season but they will want the new GM and HC in place soon into post season to prepare for draft. Jets are full rebuild now.

I hate defensive pass interferance. Called when barely happened and sometimes not called when blatant. So random and way too powerful a penalty. 40 yards and a first down? Nothing else like it.
