  1. would be better without the skinny font names. fill that ***** in and you might have something
  2. In 2018, the NFL earned $8,100,000,000 (8.1 Billion). They cant hire 100 full time refs @ $100K/yr (10 Million)? Each week they could meet in NY Tues-Thurs to go over plays together, do some drills, get rated, educational stuff. This is a no-brainer to me vs a high school science teacher and a foot locker manager looking at each other wondering what to call or not.
  3. Better would be:"RayRay Gets Haircut by the Panthers"
  4. The defense smothers The offense gets in rhythm Fins remain winless
  5. The hold on Ford (the play he was injured) was BS. That was a terrible call that stalled the drive (Gore had just run for a first down) - could have cost us the game. Luckily it didn't.
  6. You forgot: "quick end around", "muffed punts" and "Cornelius "Biscuit" Bennett”
  7. If so, he went from gigantic to still really huge. He's listed as: Height: 6 ft 4 in (1.93 m) Weight: 329 lb (149 kg)
  8. Football is a violent sport. I really hope no one gets hurt this weekend. Especially not key players on certain teams.
  9. Especially if it involves a Tight End
  10. "YOU OVER-OFFICIOUS JERK!"
  11. Stay the course. Keep our guys and picks. Good for now and future.
  12. Worst day of my life. Without too many details: jumped by 3 dudes the night before, smelling salt involved, bloody still at game, section 132 hated me, when Bills took the lead I let them have it big-time, after the forward pass, I couldn't "get away" (400 vs 1). Went to doc in Cincy. Concussion, 2 broken teeth, many scrapes and bruises. The topper is, had just started a new job. What I do for this team...
  13. I'm all for Sweeney/Knox and let Kroft go away. I was just responding you asking what about Kroft's stats were worthy of playing him. He did prove in 2017 (before injuries) that he's a legit TE (7 TDs, 9.6 avg per catch, 23 catches for first down). IF healthy, I would split time with Sweeney. If Kroft never sees the field, that's OK too. Don't feel that strongly about him.
  14. 2017 looks pretty damn good to me. I watched him here in Cincy that year. He's legit. I do like Sweeney (and especially Knox), but they need to catch the ball consistently when thrown to them.
  15. I'll give the NFL a little credit on how they've handled the new PI challenges. They are extremely reluctant to overturn a call (either way). The rule was in place for the egregious ones (Rams/Saints), not for coaches to try to get away with some BS finger touching a shoulder. I do like how they are (not) allowing coaches to abuse the rule.
  16. Ha. I guess you're right. "tired" is tricky - I guess that is 2 syllables. The way I say it, it sounds like 1. I'll take out the "and" and change it to: Cold, hungry, tired The Buffalo charges forth To seek and destroy
  17. Ha. I tried to explain sleestaks to my kids, they looked at me like I was a dinosaur. Land of the lost was awesome.
  18. In case it helps (I had to look it up): A traditional Japanese haiku is a three-line poem with seventeen syllables, written in a 5/7/5 syllable count. Often focusing on images from nature, haiku emphasizes simplicity, intensity, and directness of expression. Cold, hungry, and tired The Buffalo charges forth To seek and destroy
  19. Unless injury calls for it, no need to trade for anyone. Why give anything up (player or pick)? We're good right now, and have depth, and a full complement of draft picks next year. We're not desperate. Stay the course.
  20. Making room for Eifert
