Monday mornings after a win/loss
BuffaloBillies replied to Brennan Huff's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Said a few Hail Mary's and made some coffee. It was just a better morning by I. -
Great write up. I'm still in shock, but have resigned to the fact that great players will sometimes make great plays. Sucks so bad, but Hopkins and Murray are very special/magical players. That seemed like a 1% at best type chance, but they made it. I could call it a "bad beat"... but they made the play. Wasn't all luck. Go bills.

Have you lost Confidence in the Bills ?

No details on their survey. This could be just 1 or 2 people changing their vote. 92 to 89 is hardly head-turning. -

Never heard someone say a kicker is one of their favorite players, but who am I to judge. Sometimes inspiration comes in strange ways... if that does it for you, good for you... go do something great and recover your own onside kick to spark something. -

I was in Vegas. Had a miracle 7 team parley bet (small money, gigantic payout). Bills bet came in as did the other 5, but then.... lost the 7th game! I'll never forget it. Total buzz kill. But still great bills win. -

Fine, but many clean hits that "look" wicked immediately get punished in today's game. The point of my post was how the NFL has gotten so soft, especially with hits on qb. -

Back when football was football. Today that would earn every flag on the field, 15 yards, ejection, and 2 game suspension. Back then, it was just a great hit. -

Got one... Sam Adams picking off Brady week 1 2003. Rumbles to endzone and Brady got flattened along the way also.- 167 replies

Ha. Idk, I'd have to think about it more, I'm sure there are hundreds of others. I too am already drinking. Give me 24 hours. I will say that Knox play was so great because it was right in front of me and I was with my Cincinnati buddies. I'll never forget it. -

Roland hooks td catch, Fred smerlis blocked fg, Beebe run-down in super bowl, Knox mowing over Bengals... first few that came to mind. -

Stick Edmunds in the middle and play a 5-1-5 defense? Seattle wants to pass anyway.- 90 replies

I like that we have two similarly capable guys. One goes down, still got one left.

Sunday Ticket anti-trust lawsuit revived

You're making my point of why they are greedy. NFL was greedy in that they accepted the exorbitant amt of $ from DirecTV not caring at all about the actual fans of the NFL who now only had a single source to watch out-of-market games. They took the money, fans be damned. DirecTV/ATT is greedy in that yes, it is expensive. And since they had exclusive rights (by giving NFL exobitant amt of $), they had NFL fans be the short-hairs and have continued to raise the rates (from $99 to $300+ over the years). AND... until only this year, you HAD to be be a DirecTV subscriber to even get ST. This year they opened it up to ~40 markets to stream without having DirecTV... but not all markets. Mine is one that does NOT have access through streaming. So, I had to have my college kid set up an account and I use his. It was literally the ONLY way I could get Bills games. Call it what you want. I'm calling them both greedy aholes.
