Was on the field in Cincinnati before a Bengals/Bills game. Ball came bouncing up to me. I picked it up and someone said, "Here you go" - I look up and Flutie was waiting for me to throw it back to him. Which I did. Big thrill for me that I'll never forget. So could be something like that that makes it worth it to you.

Not a bad thought at all. Sometimes a late offensive push-off prevents a potential interception. And would make teams think twice about running pick plays as much.

My wife made Chicken Taquitos for the first time. I ate one and the Bills starting lighting it up. So I ate the whole pan (~10 of them). I don't feel that guilty about it either.

Prolly thought it was a Steeler player, until it wasn't (oops). Plus, he was already a little hot from some after-the-whistle shoving he got the play before.

Save your money. You'll eventually lose. And, it takes away from game enjoyment, cuz you care about your bet as much or more than the actual game. Take it from a stubborn dumb ass who had to learn the hard way. Makes you feel like a chump too.

Regarding your questions... Ball was tipped near the line of scrimmage and Knox made a very strange effort at it. Maybe the tip had him leaning one way and was trying to lean back the other way - but wasn't a very good looking play for him trying to adjust. Lamar's was close, and depended on your interpretation of exactly when/where you spot the ball when flying out of bounds. I think he probably had it, but glad they didn't overturn.

Loved him for last few years. I've given my daughter permission to marry him.

59 yards per game X 17 gets you 1,000. I think he gets it, barring injury. And if he has just three 100 yard games, the average needed for the other 14 games is only 50 yards.

With Thursday games, Bills get a couple extra mini-bye weeks.

Bengals had some crazy luck (?) on their side last year. Chase is awesome, but some of the desperation heaves are just not sustainable. They barely won 5-6 games including all of their playoff wins. Their kicker won the games for them. I don't think they repeat last year - and their schedule is ridiculously tough this year. They end the year with: Tennessee, KC, Cleveland, TB, NE, Buf, Balt.

In college, 4 of us challenged ourselves to 100 beers and 100 wings on super bowl Sunday Bills vs Redskins. The wing part was easy. ***** got sloppy late nite. Monday classes were canceled (by us)
