No not just PFF. I just don't see where he's been an elite LT during his time here. Solid, average...sure. A few dominant games per season, yes. For me in the end though Glenn is a lot like Wood, and that's a mostly average player throughout the season who is really bad when he struggles and really good on those games he's locked in. Also the too many injuries in recent years to be counted on long term.

I agree with this but not getting my hopes up because technically these guys were all Whaley (and his scouting departments) draft picks even though it's presumed that McDermott had a lot of influence in the final decisions. And it's not like we haven't seen guys have great rookie seasons only to regress significantly in year two under the same coach/scheme (i.e. Darby). Hard not to be impressed by White and he definitely looks like the best DB from the draft so far and this scheme seems to fit him perfectly.

Don't worry about Watkins, even if his stats are terrible with the Rams this year watch him sign with the Patriots in the offseason and go on to have a ridiculous career because it's simply the Bills way.

Dennison: Tyrod kept us in the game
SaviorPeterman replied to SaviorPeterman's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Dennison makes me sick to my stomach just looking at him reading off his popgun offense play card. This has to be one of the worst OC hires in recent years right up there with Nate Hackett, Mike Sheppard, Steve Fairchild, etc. -
Trevor Simian is undefeated in September games
SaviorPeterman replied to SaviorPeterman's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I believe 6-0 over the last two years, but his play did tail off down the stretch last season. Not just about Simian though, Denver is a strong team across the board and there's no debate that the AFC West is the NFL's best division and lucky us for getting to play against all their teams this year. -
Will be interesting to see how long McCoy stays on Taylor's bandwagon when the running game continues to struggle because defenses know we can't throw the ball against them. And at some point Taylor is going to end McCoy's season with his horrible throws his way.

Exactly and guess who his last OC was when he wasn't necessarily that good? Our very own Rick Dennison of course. -
Denver doesn't want to come here.
SaviorPeterman replied to bobobonators's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Only because it's a road game for Denver and it is the quintessential 'trap game' against a lesser team coming off a hot 2-0 start at home and a huge game against the Raiders after the Bills. -
Trevor Simian is undefeated in September games

Exactly, of course he did sit at a rookie before starting last year but it proves you can find legit starting QB in the mid/later rounds. Peterman has great long term potential but have to believe he'd still be a far better option than Taylor even if he has to learn on the job so to speak this year. -

Before the season I would have agreed and I thought this was a game the Bills might actually win on paper. However Simian is among the league leaders right now in just about every passing category and looks like Brady compared to what we have. And what he did against the Cowboys was not a fluke but it was a home game. We'll see what happens on Sunday but this is a game that the Broncos should win as they are the better team across the board. -
Grading out very and he has no doubt been a major part of this defense's success so far, hopefully he can sustain it over the course of the season. https://www.profootballfocus.com/news/pro-race-for-rookie-of-the-year-week-2-4?utm_content=buffer31118&utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitter.com&utm_campaign=nfl

Interesting stat, but it's no surprise because the Broncos have played great football to start the season the last few years. But I think between a hobbled Cam Newon and Josh McCown, this will be the best QB we faced so far and Simian leads the NFL in TD passes at the moment. Bills will need another herculean effort on defense this week combined with some sort of big plays on offense or ST just to have a chance at any kind of upset or staying in this game in the 4th quarter.

Best D in AFC: Denver? Bflo? Nope - Steelers
SaviorPeterman replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think Denver is the best defense in the entire NFL but we'll find out this Sunday just how good they really are. -
Is this the new "normal" for Dareus
SaviorPeterman replied to San-O's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Even if Dareus avoids the off the field distractions he's constantly had injury issues in recent years which hopefully makes his days in Buffalo numbered. Thank you Doug Whaley for signing such horrible extensions that are going to hurt this teams rebuilding efforts the next few years. -
Their fans have every right to trash the Bills and be confident this will be an easy win for them especially since it appears they have a legit offense to go along with their defense. Pretty crazy though that the AFC West has three legit superbowl contenders in the same division and even the chargers are probably a .500 type of team this year even if they aren't on the same level as the other three.

Dennison: Tyrod kept us in the game
SaviorPeterman replied to SaviorPeterman's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Wouldn't be surprised, after all he did come from Denver where a lot of folks are stoned 24/7. Would also explain his terrible popgun west coast offense and reliance on a horrendous QB with terrible mechanics to execute it. -
Dennison: Tyrod kept us in the game
SaviorPeterman replied to SaviorPeterman's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Also if the definition of keeping you in the game is passing for a franchise low net 6 passing yards at halftime, having happy feet and feeling pressure that's not there, overthrowing wide open receives and almost getting your key offensive players killed with terrible throws so be it. Yes we get it, the guy can make a play here and there with his legs but he brings absolutely nothing to the table in a league driven by pass happy offenses and elite franchise QB's. -

This is why I have little faith in this regime already, it's the whole Nix/Gailey infatuation with Fitzpatrick all over again. Just like with Taylor, Fitz was also a holdover from the previous regime that was given 'the benefit of the doubt'. We all know how that story ended and it will be no different with Taylor if these people truly believe he's not the problem and gives this team the best chance of winning. -

McDermott's Subplot Emerging?
SaviorPeterman replied to theRalph's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I also believe a change is imminent despite McD's predictable canned remarks today at the press conference and insisting Taylor is the guy. No way he will stick with Taylor after what is about to happen against the Broncos and Falcons and we are sitting at 1-3. Any momentum this regime has will be up in flames if they stick with Taylor much longer especially since they have no ties to him and he's a Whaley guy. -
9-18: McDermott and Coordinator Pressers
SaviorPeterman replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Means nothing and we'll see how long he's singing this tune when other veterans (on defense) tell him they aren't busting their ass each week for this bum.
