  1. No surprise by Peterman's ranking since he's a 5th round rookie that hasn't played in the regular season yet, but Interesting they have him ranked at the top of the 'unsolved mystery' category ahead of some other notable veterans and rookies. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000863224/article/ranking-every-nfl-teams-backup-qb-from-1-to-32?campaign=Twitter_atn
  2. Interesting development, guess Glenn isn't getting traded then. Why on earth are Ducasse and Mills still in the starting lineup though? If Dawkins was good enough to play LT why not try him on the right side?
  3. Where is this coming from? Is he not at practice today?
  4. This is Benoit's rationale: So he's obviously looking at the QB's individual ability, track record, and what he can do with the talent he has around him. Obviously like a lot of skeptical Bills fans, he must believe Taylor is destined to fail given all those factors. Personally I would put Taylor ahead of a few of these guys but even then he'd still be no better than the 18th or 19th overall.
  5. Andy Benoit ranks the top 21 QB's for the rest of 2017, Tyrod Taylor is noticeably not on the list meaning they believe he's somewhere in the bottom 3rd of NFL starting QB's, agree or disagree? https://www.si.com/nfl/2017/10/18/nfl-quarterbacks-qb-rankings?utm_campaign=themmqb&utm_source=twitter.com&utm_medium=social
  6. Me too, but my concern level for this one is of the charts for a multitude of reasons.
  7. Also interesting we cut Banyard, wonder if we are about to bring in another RB because we certainly need it and apparently we tried to get Adrian Peterson which tells me Beane and McD is looking for more than just a backup/ST player at the position.
  8. I actually like this move, it's no secret we need help at the position. Just realized he was on the Ravens roster back when Taylor was there too so at least there is some familiarity with each other since they practiced a lot together as backups.
  9. Don't laugh but Thompson might actually be an upgrade over Zay Jones considering he has more catches and yards than him this season. Puts into perspective how disappointing Jones has been that we are kicking tires on players like this right now.
  10. People think that because I give the Pats credit for what they have done (as much as I hate to do it). But hopefully it will soon be over, Brady can't play forever and will be finished at some point. This is also why I feel sorry for the younger generation of Bills fans though, because just like most Pats fans only know winning and SB's, they only know losing and misery and weren't around for the glory days of the 90's. But just like Bills fans found out, Pats fans will realize the good times don't last forever and should cherish what they have.
  11. Probably because he had to stay up past his bed time. But in all seriousness, wasn't it because of all the drinking and driving and felt they weren't conducive to fan safety?
  12. I know a lot of pats fans mostly because of a company in Boston I deal with in my profession. But most of them are bandwagon variety and will likely disappear when Brady is gone and they end up rebuilding or sucking.
  13. Fans hate super teams, same reason many people are losing interest in the NBA because of the Warriors and Cavs who have dominated their respective conferences the last 3 years with little resistance. Not sure why the NFL wants the Pats to keep winning considering they are by far the most hated team in the NFL.
  14. Bills deserved more than a meager TNF game against the Jets even if the pundits thought we would truly be hideous.
  15. They want their guys and obviously love Dawkins at LT. So unless the plan is to move Glenn to RT not sure there is a long term future for him in Buffalo and certainly not for the ridiculous money he's getting.
  16. Hope so, but these are typically the games that Belichik and the Pats like to send a message in and what a better way to put the rest of the NFL on notice if they thump the Falcons in primetime and win their 3rd straight. God I hate the patriots and wish they would just go away.
  17. Let me articulate it a better way, every year the same teams are guaranteed a MNF games including Chicago for example who has had some pretty teams in recent years. Hence what I mean with bad matchups. Bills aren't guaranteed anything although they just had one last year against Seattle. But yes every team should get a game on MNF or they should flex MNF and have the ability to change the game if come Nov/Dec one or both team playing has a bad record.
  18. Aside from political nonsense with the Anthem, I think it's because they have a lot of terrible matchups. Every team (yes including the Bills) should get a MNF game regardless of what their record was the year before or what the pundits believe. Also for a lot of people, especially working families, it's hard to stay up late in most parts of the country because of the time the game is on.
  19. Hard to be optimistic knowing your team is only strong in 2 phases and terrible in the one that many feel is most important. So much anxiety with this team and it's hard not to be concerned about where things are heading if this team comes out of the bye week and loses against the 2-3 Bucs.
  20. He's like Wood, has a handful of very good to great games per season but is average to terrible in the rest. There is a reason why this new regime isn't committing to him just like with Dareus, they obviously want him gone and I'm totally fine with it.
  21. Would be very interesting if the Falcons could go into Foxboro and beat the Pats this week. After what happened in the SB and wanting to avoid a 3 game losing streak the AFC East you have to believe all the motivation is there for them. Just not sure I see it happening if they couldn't beat the Bill and Dolphins in their home building. Either way Bills need a win this week to keep pace because Dolphins also likely moving to 4-2 since they get the Jets at home. A bills loss could drop us all the way to 3rd place in the division.
  22. Going back to last year's offense would be conceding failure and no way that McD/Dennison do that. If they aren't going to make a QB change though they certainly need to do something about the oline because by and large it's been a complete disaster as a run blocking unit which is supposed to be this teams bread and butter.
  23. I can't remember the name of the place, but back in 2008 I went to a great Bills bar and party near the Cardinals stadium (Tempe I think). Chris Brown (official Bills reporter) was even there. This was the day before the infamous game that Trent Edwards took that vicious hit after we start 4-0.
  24. If the bills could get to 7-3, talk about serious momentum before a brutal murderers row type of finish especially with the Pats and Dolphins x2 in December. But then again it would be great to see this team actually get better and play their best football for once in Nov/Dec instead of Sep/Oct. One thing is clear though, unless the Pats go on a tear and win out like they usually do the division might actually be decided in the closing weeks of the season.
  25. No not at all. But I do believe that the whole 'process' thing means sticking to a specific plan and not deviating. NFL coaches and GM's are stubborn. And we very well may see a real shot at the playoffs squandered because they insist on 'trusting the process' and sticking with the roster they have in place.
